Apartment is located in a secure complex, with 2 swimming pools for adults and children, a unique feature within Lagos Marina. It is close enough to reach all that Lagos has to offer on foot, a car is not required. Guests staying in this lovely complex can enjoy the exquisitely maintained gardens with sun loungers and parasols. The garden area is gated to ensure it maintains its exclusivity and to provide privacy for its guests. There is only a small number of apartments on this highly sought after complex which has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and offers its guests the space to unwind and enjoy its fantastic facilities. There is a great supermarket just across the road to the rear of the apartment which opens till 8:30 pm. There truly is something for everyone here and with everything on your doorstep, and it is also ideally suited for families. Balcony is secure for children, it is a easy and very scenic walk to town. The apartment and the complex is very secure. Security is of utmost importance and facilitated by 24 hours Security Guards. The balcony is a great sun trap ideal for lounging in the morning or morning breakfast, evening meals and drinks. There is free Wifi.

Nice trip to Lagos

The flat was conveniently located with easy & safe parking. The pool was great. Being right off the marina made it easy to access activities and restaurants. The flat had good access to the ocean breezes but it was.nice ro have air conditioning too.

A really conveniently located property - a pleasant 20 minute walk through Marina into the Town and opposite a large supermarket. In a quiet area. The apartment was lovely with everything you needed on hand. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back to Lagos in the future.

The apartment had all you could want as a base in Lagos and is very excellently managed by Rentalgest. The location is perfect for exploring Lagos and also for escaping to other areas in the Western Algarve.The apartment is clean, and the kitchen has all the utensils you will require. The furniture is good, only draw back that the couches aren’t the best material for the heat.The balcony is excellent, shaded at all times and very spacious, a great area to sit and relax. The bedrooms are well proportioned, with plenty of storage and having two bathrooms is a major plus. The whole apartment complex is very well maintained and managed and the pool is very well maintained and a great size.I would highly recommend.

Nice balcony can see the marina and pool. Close to a grocery store. (pringo) but about a mile walk to the main downtown sights. Problem with check in was we were given the wrong code to the building however the property manager came quickly to help us get in. Provided toilet paper and shampoo/lotion but not paper towels making it more difficult to clean up spills. We needed to buy some at the store. First time we have ever had this with any rental of any kind. No hot tub as advertised just a swimming pool. It was cool not warm. Several Restaurants are near by as is the area for the boat tours. Main shopping area is downtown. Host was responsive in communication.

We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was lovely, clean & in a great location. Communication with the property owner was excellent throughout. However be warned there is not enough sun beds or umbrellas around the pool area, all of them are ‘reserved’ with towels on them by 7.30am….The only option then being to lay on damp, lumpy grass!

We have been going to Lagos for over 25 years. Love the place. It was the first time we stayed in an apartment, the one we choose was excellent. It met all our needs. Very pleasant stroll through the Marina,passing loads of bars/restaurants that cater for all taste and prices. Another 5 minute walk and you are into the centre of Lagos. My wife, a friend,and I are all aged 70 plus and had as good a week with wall to wall sunshine as you could wish for.

Apartment is very nice

Property location is nice, walking distance to the city Centre and beach. Apartment was clean and well equipped. However check in process was very confusing and misleading. We received email that we can check in at 11am but when arrived at the city we were told that the apartment will not be available until 7pm due to someone paid for extended stay. Communication with staff also wasn’t t very good

Lagos Marina

We stayed in this property near the marina for 9 nights . Communication with both the owner Nurul and the agent Adrian was always easy and straightforward. The apartment is located a few minutes from the marina and a further 15 min to town. There is a large supermarket just across the road . The apartment was spacious and clean and well equipped with all we needed . It's on the second floor and there is a lift as well as stairs . The pool is big but could do with a few more sunbeds in high season . Overall a very nice area and a lovely apartment . I would go back again .

Ideal apartment for short stay in Lagos

This was a lovely apartment in a quiet part of the marina complex. Being situated in the corner, it was not gettting the sun on the balcony fully (we stayed during the first week of May; thus this may change later in the summer); but the advantage was that the apartment did not get hot (we didn't use/need the AC units) and it had a lovely view across the marina to Lagos. The kitchen is well stocked, but there is limited worktop space for food preparation if you need to/want to cook. Although I'm not sure you'd want to cook, given the fantastic restaurants in Lagos - the best of which is the Don Sebastiao; we always eat there when we visit Lagos. English language channels on the TV are limited; and it would have been

We live and work in London, we have three children and have been holidaying here from 2004. We appreciate and understand the demands of holidaying with children. The Algarve, Lagos and the surrounding area and our apartment works really well for us.

As a family we appreciate holidaying which is stress and hassle free. This apartment being fully equipped with all the necessary mod cons and conveniently located in a beautiful and award winning Lagos Marina at our door step, ensures a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Being foodies we enjoy the various local restaurants both in the Marina and the old town, which offers traditional Portuguese dishes as well as cuisines form around the world.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property in this stunningly beautiful location primarily because of the convenience of the local amenities, and the ease with which we can travel from England. The western Algarve provides a range of different activities to suit all ages and interests. The Algarve is undoubtedly a region of outstanding natural beauty, and Lagos is very well located within easy reach, and which provides easy access to the Eastern and Western Algarve, surrounded by beautiful and undulating scenery.

In addition, Lagos being a coastal town, there are many clean and stunning beaches that can be accessed from the apartment by either a short walk or as short drive away. Being on the Marina, one is spoilt for choice of the vast array of restaurants and cafes, the shops in town and supermarkets are easily accessible from the apartment. The nearest supermarket Pingo Doce is across the road.

In addition to the only private pool on our complex, there is a local modern leisure center with latest equipment and facilities within 5 minutes walk, which provide a whole host of sporting activities, as well as beauty treatments.

When in the apartment we can enjoy the lovely views of hills to the rear, views of the Marina to the front and the wonderfully maintained gardens. We enjoy the space our apartment offers, it is comfortable for us and we tried to make it a home from home. Moreover, it has been furnished with good quality furniture to ensure that our guests are comfortable and relaxed in their stay; whether they are adults or families with young children.

What makes this property unique

Within the Marina Complex, our apartment block is unique in that it has two private swimming pools for adults and children (infants). This is a feature that we use as a family and the children thoroughly enjoy it. The block is secure and gated. Both our balconies at the front and back are made secure for infants and toddlers providing a safe area for them to play in. There is also a play area in the complex. Lagos offers a fresh market, where one can buy fresh fish, vegetables, fruits as well as local produce daily. There is spectacular views of the Marina and the hills behind Lagos from our apartment.

The marina provides a whole host of activities, from hiring boats out for the day for tours and for fishing, to scuba diving, fishing in the sea/river. As well as numerous restaurant and cafes to sample the authentic Portuguese food, deserts and wines. It is also a haven for golfers, and water sport enthusiasts.
