The kitchen was well stocked, the place clean and comfortable. Raasay is also an amazing location - peaceful and quiet. We also benefited from amazing weather

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Host was superb and showed genuine care to ensure everything was in order. Very spacious and having two bathrooms is a blessing! Brilliant views - wish the windows were bigger! Loved watching the ferries. Great birdlife. Well located close to amenities.

Spring break
Fantastic location, well equipped property, a great place to relax and get away from it all. Everyone was very friendly.
Fantastic location for a family gathering. This house is ideally located close to the centre of the village with spectacular views across the water. It has everything you would need as a home from home.
Fabulous location, fantastic communication with host. The kitchen was really well equipped to cook for the family. Views from the property fantastic. We all had an amazing time.
This was a wonderful home with a fabulous view. We loved the quiet and the warm fire. Since there is only one place to eat out on the island, we greatly appreciated the well appointed kitchen. Very lovely owner who even checked in with us part way through the stay to make sure all was well. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.
This is our second stay here and loved it as much as the first time. A great place to launch or Raasay adventures from or just sit and watch the ever changing light on the bay and mountains of Skye. The only thing we lacked was a coffee press (I guess we must have brought one the first time), so if you need coffee as much as my husband, bring one with you and you'll lack for nothing.
The cottage was a perfect base for our family members to attend my Daughters wedding at the Raasay distillery. The host was extremely accommodating on dates so we could have best dates to fit in , and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in order. Our only comment would be to consider a hand rail either on the front steps or the rear decking to make it easier access to those with less mobility - but we loved our stay and would look forward to visiting again at some point.Thank you so much !
Home from home. Spotless clean and well prepared for us. Fire laid😀for our arrival. Even baking supplies, ( not that I wanted to on holiday) very comfortable house in great location with great views across the sea to Skye. If I could sing I would have 😀
Raasay beautiful, remote but easily accessible to Skye. Everyone we met friendly
Owner of property kept in touch not that we were in any need of anything. Just perfect

Peace on an island
Raasay is not the obvious choice for a holiday as Skye is its more populous and well known neighbour - you need to get on a ferry to get to Raasay. But that is the whole point. Once there you are in a calm tranquil virtually car-free environment, surrounded by sea, mountains, and wildlife. There is a different atmosphere on an island, cut adrift from the stresses of modern life. The house is absolutely lovely. Very comfortable, and with meditative views across the bay. Sited in the village it is near the shop, a short walk to the community centre, a slightly longer one to Raasay House which is great for lunch, snacks, dinner, and the bar. Walks and cycling from the house are easy and wonderful. We had great evenings watching the sun go down from the cosy living room, with the log burner warming us nicely. The house has loads of parking space, garage for bikes, every amenity you could need. The contact with the owners was extremely helpful and they were very quick to respond to any queries. We cannot wait to come back as this was a special time in a special place.
Lovely bungalow packed with family mementos and creature comforts.Decking was amazing base for a sunrise breakfast or sunset nightcap. Location was perfect too. Super quiet but walking distance to shop, distillery and Raasay House.

An-Airidh is the family home of 5 sisters. Although none of us live on the island full time we all still love to holiday there.
