An-Airidh is a detached bungalow which offers quality accommodation in beautiful surroundings. It is situated approx a mile from the ferry terminal on the small Inner Hebridean Island of Raasay within an easy ferry journey to Skye. An excellent base from which to enjoy this beautiful, unspoilt island with its stunning scenery, varied wildlife and it’s depth of history. Beautiful woodland walks, perfect for cycling, bird watching or just relaxing and enjoying the views.

All the creature comforts- amazing location

Lovely bungalow packed with family mementos and creature comforts.Decking was amazing base for a sunrise breakfast or sunset nightcap. Location was perfect too. Super quiet but walking distance to shop, distillery and Raasay House.

Lovely Property

The location and house are great, the host was very helpful especially when there was an Island wide power cut which was unavoidable, Lila stayed in touch to make sure everything was fine.

Perfect Location with Exquisite Views

Very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Host was superb and showed genuine care to ensure everything was in order. Very spacious and having two bathrooms is a blessing! Brilliant views - wish the windows were bigger! Loved watching the ferries. Great birdlife. Well located close to amenities.

Wedding party visit

The cottage was a perfect base for our family members to attend my Daughters wedding at the Raasay distillery. The host was extremely accommodating on dates so we could have best dates to fit in , and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in order. Our only comment would be to consider a hand rail either on the front steps or the rear decking to make it easier access to those with less mobility - but we loved our stay and would look forward to visiting again at some point.Thank you so much !

Home from home. Spotless clean and well prepared for us. Fire laid😀for our arrival. Even baking supplies, ( not that I wanted to on holiday) very comfortable house in great location with great views across the sea to Skye. If I could sing I would have 😀 Raasay beautiful, remote but easily accessible to Skye. Everyone we met friendly Owner of property kept in touch not that we were in any need of anything. Just perfect

Family friendly with beautiful surroundings

It has been one of our best relaxing holiday so far. The cottage is very clean, cosy and warm, it just feels like home after your first step in. Every morning we had our coffee in the living room watching the ocean and Isle of Sky, peace and quiet. Kids were very happy as well, plenty of rabbits and you are surrounded by nature. A really quiet place if you are looking for a city escape. All of us enjoyed it so much and the host was really kind. Raasay is a small place but makes you feel great. Been very lucky with the weather as well so we could walk and explore the surroundings. You must visit the new distillery, great Raasay whisky and the Raasay house for lunch , tea. We will definitely go back for longer next time. Thanks Lila for being such a great host, much appreciated.

Amazing

Once again an amazing stay on Raasay. Fortunate to see the dolphins, watch an otter feeding and even saw both the sea and golden eagle. A great year for fishing!An- Airidh is always immaculately clean and well equipped for the family. Great communication. Can't wait to return again next year.
