Berchtesgaden Trip

A very nice place with roomy kitchen and bathroom. The view from the house is unbelievable. Although the parking is offsite but it is only 50 ft away. It is close to the designations that we wanted to visit, including Konigsee, Ramsau, Salzbergwerk, Salzburg and Chiemsee. The weather is so mild at the end of May. We had a great time.

Lovely setting and apartment; but was not as expected

The apartment was fantastic for our family of four -- spacious, terrific kitchen, comfortable sleeping, great balcony, and a very scenic area. However, we reserved this particular apartment specifically due to its location to the lake, and we were planning this portion of our trip to include many activities at the lake, and especially our teenagers who were looking forward to beach time. When we arrived at the office to pick up the keys, I asked where the closest access to the beach is from our apartment -- and that is when we learned the lake was dry. That news was surprising, and very disappointing. I feel we should have been notified much sooner of this significant change, and a discounted rental rate would have been appropriate. In addition, we had a very hard time finding the office to get the keys -- our iPhones were not registering the office address we had been given, and for quite some time there was no answer on phones numbers we were given. That inconvenience, in addition to the lack of a lake, were very discouraging. The apartment itself was wonderful -- the disappointing lake situation, and check-in/check-out process was not.

Die Lage war perfekt für alle unsere Unternehmungen, da alles gut erreichbar war. Der Kontakt war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!Kleiner Hinweis: Der Küchenwasserhahn ist etwas locker und die Tür des kleinen Bades streift die Toilette (hat aber nicht gestört).

Den Begriff "Luxus" sollte man streichen

Wohnung war okay - aber von Luxus keine Spur: es handelt sich eher um eine altbackene 3-Zimmer-Wohnung - mit nur 1 1/2 Bädern! Macht man die Tür zu Bad 2 auf, so fällt man gleich in die Kloschüssel. Der Partner kann das Bad nicht betreten, solange der Sitz besetzt ist! Und auch Schlafzimmer 2 ließ zu wünschen übrig: EINE funzelige Nachttischlampe für ZWEI Betten - da kann man abends kein Buch mehr lesen. Lage allerdings sehr gut.

Schönes Haus mit einigen Minuspunkten

Wir hatten die Wohnung im 1.OG. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wer Lust auf schöne Natur und ruhige Nächte hat, ist da genau richtig. Das Haus ist sauber, die Zimmer sind groß und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Küchenausstattung ist auch gut. Aber vom Luxus-Haus, wie in der Anzeige genannt, darf man hier nicht sprechen. Die Anzeige enthält Angaben für alle Wohnungen zusammen. Z.B. Klimaanlage gab es bei uns keine. Und insgesamt fehlt dem Haus etwas Liebe: sehr große Balkone ohne einen einzigen Blumenkasten oder -topf, ungepflegter Garten mit mehr Moos als Rasen, Gartenbereich für die Wohnungen im 1. und 2. OG hat außer 2 Sonnenliegen und einem ungepflegten Blumenbeet aus den Vorjahren nichts mehr.

Top Lage - Wohnung mit abstrichen

Sehr gute Lage mit Blick auf Schloss Neuschwanstein - ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in der Region. Großzügige Ferienwohnung, ist jedoch leider in die Jahre gekommen. Kleinere Reparaturen wären notwendig.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll, wir hatten die OG Wohnung mit schöner Aussicht auf die Schlösser. Kann man wirklich empfehlen. Schade fanden wir das 120 Euro für den Kurzzeitaufenthalt in Rechnung gestellt wurden, wir hatten für 4 Tage gebucht, hatten wir in den Bedingungen nicht gelesen.

It's such a beautiful place to re-charge your batteries and be inspired by the impressive unspoiled nature, culture (castles, music) great food and traditional architecture all around. Always worth a trip. We love helping our guests have a fabulous stay here.

Why they chose this property

Looking for the most beautiful places to live in worldwide I found this idyllic and undiscovered romantic corner at the border of Germany/Austria. The Romans, Celts and German Kings were attracted to this area. Stunning Neuschwanstein castle inspired Walt Disney to invent Cinderella castle and attracts more than 1M visitors every year. Astonishingly the region is still a secret to most Brits. This place offers everything: castles within a 3 mile radius. 5 lakes to swim, sail, canoe and windsurf during the hot summers. Fabulous skiing slopes during the sunny winters. Romantic Christmas markets and NY Eve's fireworks. Outdoor sports: horse riding, paragliding, hiking, cycling, golf, tennis. Excellent restaurants and cafes - great variety of life.
