The luxury villa, CASA del AMOR, located on the southern end of Zihuatanejo Bay, 50 meters from the shore, combines the timeless beauty of "Mexican Traditional" with the practicality of "American Modern " featuring four spacious bedroom suites , six bathrooms, spacious living, dining and entertainment areas. Gently curving illuminated staircases and walkways flow throughout the villa. All rooms have air-conditioning in addition to ceiling fans, and the floor to ceiling glass windows provide panoramic views of Zihuatanejo Bay, including its beaches and the Pacific Ocean. The impeccable decor with numerous details from the finest folk art to Spanish Colonial type armoires creates an interior that is both exquisite and comfortable. The appropriately appointed living room opens onto yet another pergola covered terrace with brilliant, panoramic views~ equipped with comfortable seating and dining set, this terrace is perfect for informal dining or watching Zihua's spectacular sunsets. Adjacent to the living room is a spacious, formal dining room with built-in marble and parota wood sideboard. The dining room easily seats eight and is in close proximity to the bright, modern kitchen complete with granite countertops . The deluxe master suite, outfitted with king bed, bath and generous wardrobe space, large dressing and sitting areas, private terrace and jacuzzi is privately located on an upper level . Overlooking the pool from another level are two large, comfortable guest suites; one with king-bed, the other with twins {or converted to king}, each with spacious double-sized baths, ample wardrobe, dressing space and access to their shared terrace...providing exceptional views of bay, beaches, ocean and quaint fishing village of Zihua. On the lowest level, you'll find a roomy king bedroom suite consisting of luxury bath, generous wardrobe space, kitchenette, and a sitting area with a single bed…perfect for a child. An open air, entertainment and leisure area with a wet bar, sofas and chaise lounges face the fresh water infinity pool and a sun terrace that seems to literally reach out and embrace the sea. To add, the entire property has newly been upgraded with Fiber-optic/Wi-Fi throughout. If hospitality is defined by attention to detail, guests will assuredly find it at Casa del Amor where our attentive full time staff is looking forward to pampering you. Within walking distance to the beach...or we will be more than happy to give you a ride. For added security, we have an onsite caretaker 24hours a day .

The best place in ZIH!!

The views are fantastic, the staff is incredible, and the owner is the best! This property is the best I've ever stayed at in ZIH. Also the room to breathe and the pool can't be beat. I'll definitely come here again! NOTE: I've been to ZIH about 15 times. This is hands down incredible!

Casa del Amor was The Best Family Vacation Ever!!!

The property is a 5 star luxurious home, and the staff were friendly and personable as well as professional. We never wanted for a single thing that they couldn’t provide. Bruno was the Head of the household and was always available to be sure our whole family enjoyed their stay. He arranged snorkeling trips, diving trips, massages and returning the sweet newly hatched 🐣 baby turtles to the sea. The best of all was the Mariachi band that arrived after dinner to celebrate my birthday! So many happy memories and all thanks to Bruno and his staff. Our adult children all want to return to the Casa del Amor for another memorable family vacation next year. The planning is in the works. Yay😁! Thank you to Ingrid and her staff at the casa, you have helped create a lifetime of cherished memories. See you next year, Fondly, Larry and Katie Stilinovic Seattle, WA

Stop spending hours searching for the right place....this is it!

This home is amazing and the views are unprecedented, but the owner and the staff buying 5 star class. It started by telling them we have a 3 year old and them immediately shipping a car seat to our home so we could put it in the van upon arrival at the airport. Read this again...it was done instantly and without hesitation, and without asking. Upon arrival...you walk into the home and it as well as the view leads to everyone gasping in awe. The fridge is full upon your arrival of cold drinks and all the food from the list you sent over prior to arrival. Your bags are taken to the room and inside of minutes you are in the infinity pool hundreds of feet above the sea...enjoying the beauty of zihautenejo from a reclining pool lounger which I ended up calling "the Captain's Chair". Then I realized I needed a cold beer or to find d several already in the freezer for me and homemade qaucamole and salsa on the table at the pool. This lasted for 9 days and during this time we were taken anywhere we wanted to go for dinner, and there are several world class resteraunts with world class sunsets within walking distance. The staff became family to us...Stop looking for the perfect place to stay...you've found it.

Absolutely heaven on earth!

Words cannot begin to describe this incredible setting. From the moment you enter, you are blown away by the breathtaking view of the bay. The grounds are carefully maintained and the home is furnished with everything to make for a perfect stay. In addition to the amazing home, the staff of 4 could not have been any better. Bruno especially was a true professional and did everything possible to make our stay the very best it could be. After staying here, you’ll wonder why you ever stayed at an all inclusive Mexican resort. Dinner served by the staff at home was every bit as good as dinner at a local restaurant and the view is second to none. Can’t wait to return to this magical place. Thanks for an incredible vacation with amazing memories!!!

IMPRESSED BEYOND EXPECTATIONS!

Our family, (4 adults and 6 month old twins), had the privilege of spending 11 days at beautiful Casa Del Amor this March and it exceeded our expectations in every way! We've been traveling to Ixtapa and staying there for nearly 20 years, but decided to try Zihua this time. We knew that with the babies we would need a place we could spend a lot of time at without getting restless, bored or feeling claustrophobic. We'd been to Casa Del Amor, (Casa Leo then), 8 years ago, knew it had an amazing view and thought it would be a good choice. It turned out to be the PERFECT choice! The house was in pristine condition. The rooms were fresh and spotlessly clean, and the view was better than I'd remembered! My only reservation in booking this house had been that it had full time staff and I didn't know how I'd feel having other people in the house with us. It turned out that Bruno, Felix, Ana Maria and Laura were the icing on the cake! Like so many other reviews have said, "it's the staff that makes this place 5 STAR"!! I can't imagine staying here without them! Some of our favorite things were having a cook to order breakfast served to us while sat outside with our coffee, overlooking the bay, beaches and Zihuatanejo, Laura's pico and guac in the afternoon and Bruno's margaritas by the pool. It was Bruno, (the majordomo), however, that really made this trip for us. The babies made every outing quite an undertaking and he was there for us every step of the way, helping us with their stuff and making sure we didn't leave things behind! He knows everything about the area, where to go to get all the best things and his English is excellent! We usually have our own car when we're there and were going to rent one, but it was so convenient to have Bruno drive us wherever we wanted to go that we never needed it. The owner, Ingrid, was a pleasure to work with as well. She truly does care about making your time there enjoyable and is extremely accommodating. One of the extra things she did for us was to send a 2nd bassinet and bedding to our house for us to take down so both babies had a place to sleep! She loves her villa and wants everyone who stays there to love it too. If you want a place that actually is better than it's advertised to be, Casa Del Amor is it!

Fabulous vacation getaway!

Another fabulous time in Zihua (our third) at an absolutely gorgeous home! The weather was - as always - perfect, the setting magnificent, and the staff outstanding! You can see the views from the site, and I can only say they are even more beautiful in person. The staff is fabulous - so gracious, thoughtful and friendly, they are always happy to do whatever they can to make the stay more enjoyable. There is plenty to do in Zihua, and this a perfect place to be when you are there.

Family Vacation

Our family recently spent 10 days over the holidays at this beautiful home. We were 6 Adults and 3 children and everyone had a wonderful vacation. The house is exactly as shown in pictures and the views outstanding. The central location is great for doing any activities you fancy. The staff could not of been more helpful very friendly and kind. I wish I spoke spanish so that I could communicate with them but Bruno helped us in all endeavours. His local knowledge was very beneficial. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely go back.

Amazing Family Vacation!!

Our family had the extreme pleasure of spending a week this April at Casa Del Amor. We had all, of course, looked online to see the house and read what others had said. The photos were amazing and we were sure we would find this incredible home to spend our vacation. What we found was beyond our wildest imagination! As each of us arrived the same gasp and “oh my god” came out of our mouths. The photos couldn’t express the true beauty and serenity of Casa Del Amor. From the divine infinity pool to the sweeping panorama of the bay from each of the tiered lounging and eating levels, we were in heaven. The house is furnished beautifully, done with the thought of comfort and enjoyment at every turn. Every room is tasteful and welcoming. The entire home is open and airy with the option of closing rooms to run the AC. The bedroom/bathroom suites are private and comfortable, each with a view of the bay. No detail is spared – from the artful decoration of flower petals on the bed the day we arrived to the whisked away laundry, returned clean and folded to the wonderful staff. The staff completes the house. They have been with the property for years and care for it and the guests as they would their own home and friends. No request is considered an imposition and their goal was to ensure our visit was memorable and magical, which they did. Simply put, the vacation was perfect and the only thing we regretted was having to leave.

Amazing Getaway!

Casa del Amor was perfect! We had such an amazing time! We booked the trip as a family vacation for 8 adults and 1 child and the house was perfect to accommodate everyone. From the initial booking through the owner they were so helpful and thought of every detail. They even bought a brand new high chair and porta crib for the baby we were traveling with. The staff was unbelievable and so kind.The meals they prepared for us were delicious. I definitely recommend booking this home, its so relaxing and beautiful. We definitely plan on coming back. You can't beat the location and the service.

Outstanding!

Casa del Amor exceeded all our expectations. The owners were fantastic and had everything arranged for our arrival. We were hesitant about having a staff as this was new to us, but quickly learned to appreciate it. They were very welcoming and friendly. You'll love the breakfasts and snacks they prepare and Rodolfo makes sure you have everything you need and want. The property itself is spectacular with amazing views from every room. The beach is a short 7 minute walk. Nice restaurant a few doors down also. We typically tend to go to town most nights when renting a house. However, we only managed to make it into Zihua once the whole week... we simply did not want to leave the property and the beach... it is that nice.

Paradise with a View!

Despite my initial reticence about a vacation with a full staff.... I managed to get over that very quickly! Even though I've traveled extensively, I found it wonderful to have someone else do the driving, cooking, washing etc. etc. Having a local guide in Rodolfo was also terrific. I loved the location and design of the house which offered lots of privacy - even within the house - yet it is only minutes from the darling town of Zihuatanejo which has some nice shopping, great beaches and good restaurants. Cooking at home though, is the best with the availability of beautiful ripe produce, fresh fish and very good meats at the local markets. The house itself is very tastefully designed, appointed and decorated and the views from almost every room are spectacular. It is so lovely that the first texts I sent out were to my family to implore them to book a family reunion here. I never wanted to leave, and definitely wanted to take the staff with me! I will go back....

Awesome Stay!!!!

We recently returned from our stay at the Casa Del Armor. The view from the pool and the patios are simply beautiful both day and night. The house is gorgeous and worked very well for 6 people. The pool is so inviting especially after some time at the beach or shopping. The staff is over the top accommodating especially Rodolfo-- he is always ready to give rides, go get groceries, make dinner reservations just anything you might want or want to do. We could call him for a ride anytime and go anyplace. Laura the cook made breakfast everyday, it was so nice to get up sit on patio and enjoy coffee and the view. You definitely have to have her cook dinner, they set the table on patio like a fancy restaurant and the food was some of the best we had. The housekeeper Anna Marie always had a smile and would add some little touches to our rooms like fresh flowers and our laundry was done daily. Felix does anything that needs to be done always with a smile. Overall our stay was fabulous. We will definitely consider going back to Casa Del Armor in the future to enjoy being pampered by some wonderful people

Amazing, Top-Knotch Getaway

We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Casa Del Amor!!!! It was prefect!! It has a magnificent view, incredible pool and the most amazing staff ever!!! Laura was an amazing cook!! Everything tasted the best. Ann Maria made sure everything was immaculately clean and did a great job washing our clothes and making sure all the rooms were perfect! Felix had things cleaned up and coffee made each morning and the pool chairs always ready to go for the day. Rodolfo WAS THE BEST EVER!!!! He was a phenomenal host!!! Rodolfo did everything to make our stay the best. If he didn't know about it; he went looking until he found it. He took us anywhere we wanted to go and made great suggestions for places to eat, play and went for grocery runs, anything we requested... He was the most accommodating host we've ever had!! We spent most of our days at Playa La Ropa (Best Beach!!) Ocean was warm, not big waves, very safe for all the water sports available. We found loungers and umbrellas and 'hung out'! After Playa La Ropa, we came back to the Casa Del Amor and played in the pool. It felt good to get out of the sand for a while. We plan on making a return to Casa Del Amor; can't wait to see the staff amazing staff again.

Outstanding luxury escape

We recently returned from our second stay here, and once again it was a fabulous - and far too short - vacation. The pictures do not (and perhaps cannot) do it justice. The views from the house are nothing short of incredible, the interiors are beautifully designed and the staff is amazing, kind, friendly and thoughtful. We could not think of anything that could make it better. We spent nearly all of our time at the casa simply because the views and ambiance were better than anywhere else in the area (Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa), and the food prepared by Laura (the cook) was amazing. The rest of the staff consistently went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. Whether it was Rudolfo (the manager) driving us wherever we needed to go, or Anna Maria (the housekeeper) making sure the place looked spotless and Felix working with everyone to be sure we had what we wanted, everyone made us feel at home and welcomed. The first time we went there with our family, the second time with friends. Each experience was great. We plan to go back again as we have not found a place as beautiful or people as nice as we found at Casa Del Amor.

We had fallen in love with Zihuatanejo years back and since then, had been looking for a property that felt as magical to us as the way we felt when visiting! And during a celebratory visit, we were lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay at this magnificent property. There are no words to express how fortunate we felt when given the opportunity to call this Villa our own. And there was no better fitting name for such a property....thus 'Casa del Amor' was born. A home that instantly fills your senses with everything wonderful and joyous~ where much laughter, love and happiness is shared. We look forward to spending many special times here with our four young children~ and to sharing such a 'slice of Heaven' with select families whom also look to vacation in a place of such indescribable beauty. A once in a lifetime property that will forever become part of your soul and where the most treasured memories are made......
