Beautiful characteristic 3 bedroom house near the sea

The house 'Mimosa', which we lovingly restored to retain the original characteristics whilst giving all the comforts, consists of large lounge with Antique Sardinian Ottoman which can be used as an extra single bed, and wood burning fire, dining room with open kitchen with all facilities for cooking. Master double bedroom, 2nd double bedroom, 3rd bedroom with twin beds, and a large, beautiful bathroom with all conveniences including a huge open shower, there is also a second beautiful bathroom with large open shower and all conveniences. There is a washing machine and laundry area; there is also a T.V., with USB, jack and PCMCIA a stereo, with jack to play music from your phone pad or pods, in the lounge, and a newly updated free, fast Wi-Fi Internet connection, so that the entire family can keep up to date with friends and work as they wish. The house has its own courtyard garden at the front with a large shaded table for eating 'al fresco', a large BBQ and a comfortable Rattan Sofa for lounging.
500 metres down the road is an ‘Agriturismo’ or farmers restaurant, where the proprietor produces everything served on the table, including salami, pecorino (sheep’s cheese), home made pastas, suckling pig, Sardinian sweets and great local wine and liquors and of course one can walk home.
The house is just 9 mins from the wonderful white sand beach of Badesi Mare and there are many and varied coves, bays and white sand beaches with crystal clear seas all along the coast.
There are 2 villages (one in each direction) which have all amenities including a great gelateria. There is also a super new bar (local wines, + a good selection of beer and a BBQ grill), just a short walk from the house.

Charakteristische 3-Zimmer Wohnung Nähe Badesi-Beach

Salve! Mit 1500 Zeichen können wir kaum diesen speziellen und tollen Ort beschreiben. Vittoria und David sind tolle, aufmerksame und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Es gibt sooo viel positives zu erwähnen, aber was für uns schade war, dass wir ein Ferienhaus gebucht hatten (siehe Beschreibung bei FeWo), aber eine Ferienwohnung erhalten haben. Das hat den Aufenthalt aus den verschiedensten Gründen anstrengend gemacht. Aufgrund der besonderen Lage der Wohnung (Art Souterrain Wohnung in dem Haus der Gastgeber) hatten wir große Schwierigkeiten die Wohnung zu klimatisieren, wodurch die Nächte wenig erholsam waren. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und landestypisch eingerichtet und hat alles was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. In der Wohnung liegen, in mehreren Sprachen, zusammengetragene Tipps und Informationen z.B. zu tollen Stränden, Ausgehmöglichkeiten etc. bereit. In unserem zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt wurde uns einmal komplett ein Wäschewechsel angeboten. Bei der Ankunft kommen 200€ Kaution auf einen zu, die in Bar vorgelegt werden. Aus den Informationen in der Ferienwohnung wird dann noch auf eine Endreinigungspauschale von 60€ hingewiesen, die bei Abreise dann aber mit 75€ abgerechnet wurde. Azzagulta kann man sich nicht als Dorf vorstellen, sondern es ist eher eine Ansiedlung von Häusern. Es führt zwar unmittelbar vor der Wohnung eine Straße entlang, die aber wenig befahren wird. Von Azzagulta kommt man in 10-15 Minuten mit dem Auto problemlos zum Strand. Badesi-Beach ist wunderbar.

Casa lontana dal paese, zona silenziosa seppur sula strada, proprietari cortesi e disponibili. Peccato la stanza da letto e i bagni senza finestre.

Trovo fuorviante il commento sull'assenza di finestre nelle camere da letto, in quanto c'è luce naturale che entra in tutte le camere, una grande finestra apribile nella camera principale, una porta finestra nella seconda camera e una finestra più piccola apribile nella terza camera. È vero che i bagni non hanno finestre, ma sono ben illuminati e dotati di aspiratori, che si accendono automaticamente con le luci. ???

Très agréable séjour

Logement très agréable, mais il ne s'agit pas d'une maison comme décrit dans l'annonce, mais d'un appartement au rez-de-chaussée d'une maison. Cela n'a cependant rien enlevé au calme environ et à l'amabilité des propriétaires.

Charmantes Haus mit netten Gastgebern

Die Wohnung im untersten Geschoss eines Hauses ist wirklich charmant und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, vom Bett bis zu den Wassergläsern. Die Wohnung öffnet sich nach Westen zu einer Terrasse, die zwar an der Strasse liegt, auf der aber nur alle halbe Stunde ein Auto fährt. Es ist sehr ruhig und der Ausblick aus einem der drei Schlafzimmer ist wunderbar. Alles funktioniert einwandfrei, vom WLAN bis zur großzügiges heißen Dusche. Der Tisch im Haus reicht für max. 4 , der Tisch auf der Terrasse für mehr Personen. In 15 Minuten ist man am Meer (Badesi Mare) mit seinem kilometerlangen Strand. In einer knappen Stunde ist man im Valle della Luna bei Aggius oder im Gebirge auf dem Gipfel des Monte Limbara. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr herzlich und auskunftsfreudig (perfektes Englisch). Es war eine schöne zweite Woche (die 1. Woche im ebenfalls schönen Orosei) auf Sardinien. Mille Grazie Thank you

Sardinian Sanctuary

Our first visit to Sardinia ... It certainly won't be our last ! Mimosa welcomes you with authentic rustic charm and cosiness. The loving restoration brings out the best of its features , the wow factor lies deep in its heart. Relaxing on the patio with a Sicilian bar b q , a stunning sunset in the background is the icing on the cake. David and Vittoria are fantastic hosts .Helpful from the moment we booked, through to ensuring attention to detail during our stay - we wanted for nothing . Home grown produce and organic wine a welcome treat . Their local knowledge is endless with help on info regarding bike hire, guiding us to the best beaches (of those there are many !!) , and much more . Badesi is a jewel in The Sardinian crown with so many beautiful places to explore . We are sure to return , there's so much more to enjoy - ensure the delicious wine is stocked up please ! Very nice house with beautiful view

We have stayed for 12 days in house Mimosa and had a very nice stay. The house was very comfortable and cozy and the view from the roof terrace is spectacular, you can see the sea from there. The enviroment of the house is very good, with lovely beaches nearby and other nice places to visit. Bring your snorkel gear, the water is very clear! The owners have really helped us when we had a collision with car, they are very friendly people. We hope to come back ones! Thanks a lot, Best regards, Laura, Mieke and Mariette from the Netherlands

Charmant mais un peu décevant

La description est fidèle à la maison. La décoration y est très jolie et c'est très propre. En revanche ce qu'il manque, c'est l'intimité. En effet, la petite terrasse donne directement sur la route, sans clôture (ce qui peut-être dangereux si vous avez des enfants en bas âge), il n'y a même pas de végétation qui pourrait cacher la vue des passants, automobilistes, cyclistes, chiens.... Autre défaut, seule une des 3 chambres peut être aérée. On remercie Vittoria et David pour leur accueil chaleureux.

Nous vous remercions de votre examen, car nous avons apporté quelques modifications pour améliorer la maison. Nous avons maintenant construit un garde-corps avec une porte pour enfermer la maison. Nous avons également installé une nouvelle fenêtre et une ventilation dans les autres pièces.

Beautiful house

Your beautiful house. We felt privileged to stay, in your delightful house, with so many personal touches, and having learned, towards the end of our sojourn, that you both were ‘Artists’ it explained everything. We enjoyed out little chats, about your former lives in London, about the wonders of Sardinia, about where to take trips, about your permaculture farm, your goats and sheep and geese, and all the rest. We had a super holiday, great sunny days in superb locations on the coast and up in the mountains, to return to our peaceful ‘borrowed’ house and watch the sun setting over the sea with a glass of your lovely wine. Clean and Beautifully funrnished

Best holiday we had in years, Mimosa is in a wonderful position, in a small hamlet with the sea in the near distance in front, and the mountains rising at the back. A village with all amenities in both directions, Bar for cappuccino in the mornings or a glass of wine in the evening, a relaxing walk away. Fabulous Sardinian farmers restaurant 500 metres down the lane, the suckling pig melts in your mouth, but you must go hungry, as the dishes just keep coming, and the wine. I think we paid €27 a head for as much as you could eat and drink, then a relaxing, somewhat tipsy strole back to the house. The house was clean, well organised, stylishly furnished with a great bathroom and fab shower. Vittoria and David were very helpful and supplied us with some tasty white eggs, haven’t seen them in years, some goats milk and yoghurt and some of their great organic wine, which went down well, oh and some homemade chutney’s great with the local sheep’s cheese, my favourite was zucchini chutney, whereas Emily preferred the apricot. After a day getting sizzled in the sun on one or other of the stunning bays or coves, coming back to the house and sitting on the patio with a glass of organic wine and watching the sun setting over the sea, GREAT STUFF. our Mimosa stay

Just wanted to thank you for our amazing stay In Mimosa it felt like a home away from home, plenty of cooking utensils as we like to cook and great advice on local food supplies, we enjoyed what the local butcher had to offer and the nearby hot springs were a surprise delight, even in November....we will definitely return in the summer ...!! very peaceful, very lovely, highly recommend a visit, location was near to the extremely beautiful coastline and plenty of exploring opportunities close by. Mimosa was Very clean, cotton sheets, fantastic view, thanks . Lauren and David

A beautiful holiday in Sardinia

A really amazing place to stay. The house is wonderful; lovingly restored with huge attention to detail by the owners; who are more than hospitable to newcomers to Sardinia. You really feel comfortable as soon as you arrive and start to enjoy ' Sardinian life '. The property is situated in a brilliant location with incredible views of sunsets and clear dark starry skies. Trips to beaches, mountains, the river with it's hot springs, typical Sardinian towns with interesting shopping opportunities and of course the wine shop are within easy reach. This is a well maintained, welll equipped, clean, beautiful place to stay which I will be visiting again and would not hesitate to recomend it my family and friends; in fact I have already done so. fantastic holiday home

Spent 2 weeks in this fantastic selfcatering property in Sardinia, had a brilliant time in June 2010, owners where so helpful giving us all the best tips , in English that is! and mingling with us ocasionally Good location, close to aminities and close to the seaside , very close to the therms where you can enjoy a nice swimm in the hot water during the day or even at night under the stars,but not too close to the tourists.Very decent rent rates too! Lets face it , when we go on a holiday we want to have the experience of a life time and feel like at home with the locals and trust me we did. We are still intouch with the owners , who have now also become our friends, and we will be going Sardinia again this summer for some more fun time.

Great to hear people enjoy themselves on holiday in Mimosa, although we are not the intrusive type, we are always pleased to share our love of Sardinia with anyone. Carol and her family certainly where a friendly bunch, and we enjoyed taking them to the thermal river at midnight one night, and sharing some of our home made wine, whilst chatting about some of our favourite secret spots along the coast. In fact as Carol says we are in touch by e-mail and they have rebooked this year and we have already planned one trip out together, a driftwood beach this time, Carol is an artist and plans to do some sculptures with driftwood.
