A modern two bedroom ground floor apartment is situated in a quiet spot which is very close to the beaches of Alum Chine. The apartment offers an open plan living/dining and kitchen area with balcony that offers slight sea glimpses. There are 2 double bedrooms and 1 spacious family bathroom (sleeps 4 plus 2 extra persons can stay on the sofa bed that is available). Towels and linen are provided. Offers one off road parking space. For children, toys/beach toys are available. Situated in Alum Chine, Bournemouth, the flat is literally 5 mins walk downhill to the beautiful beach, children’s play park and Versuvio restaurant.

Alum Chine is a quieter beach close to Bournemouth town centre. The blue flag beach offers golden sand and clear waters. It is fully lifeguard patrolled during high season and offers a kid zone scheme.

A land train runs from Alum Chine to Bournemouth pier along the promenade.

There is a treasure island wooded play area which is great for all ages.

Alum Chine offers Tropical Gardens and the beautiful wooded Chine leads up to Westbourne.

We are very close to westbourne. Westbourne is an affluent residential and shopping area of Bournemouth, Dorset. It is located in between Branksome, Poole and the centre of Bournemouth, just off the main A338. Poole Road, mainly full of specialised shops and small cafes, runs though the centre Westbourne with Seamoor Road curving round bringing more shops and services.

The location of the flat was brilliant. Not far from the beach and in a quiet area. Loved staying here.

We are a young couple who have lived in Alum Chine area for many years. Having both moved from different locations in then UK, we are now settled into the beach lifestyle. We have only recently purchased the apartment but have lived in it and enjoyed it for many years.

From the hustle and bustle of London to the tranquility of the location and the excitement of beach activities such as sea kayaking and surfing, we love to live in this area and hope that you enjoy our apartment as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We have lived in the area for 10 years and rented this apartment for the past 4 years. The property then came up for sale and it was important for us to buy it as we love the location, the apartment itself and the proximity of it to the beach. We have recently decorated the entire apartment and have brought new furnishing to feel like the perfect seaside pad.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is spacious, light and airy and has a lovely open plan living room and kitchen. The living room opens up onto a 2-seater balcony which offers sea glimpses.

The beach is a few minutes walk down the hill and offers a beautiful stretch of sandy beaches.

In addition there is a large play park for children, the Chine which offers a long wooded walk and 2 beautiful restaurants (The Edge - for those special occasions) and a beach front Italian. In close proximity to the apartment is the Riveria Hotel - which is open for non residents for drinks and food, the Inn in the Park for those good pub meals and beer and then Westbourne, which is a thriving area which has a village feel offering many pubs, bars, restaurants, coffee shops and shops as well as the UKs smallest Cinema.
