Enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday in our charming 1 bedroom cottage. Situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in Normandy in a lovely rural area on the outskirts of Brouains village. All set in a nature reserve, with the River See running through it, a lovely place to go for a walk and watch the wild life. Very close to the Moulin , which is only a few minutes’ walk away; where you will also find a working water wheel and museum.

Cozy, Quiet yet convenient

The cottage was lovely, and extremely well-equipped - nothing missing at all. It's definitely only for two people, who are looked after very well. All furnishings and fixtures are comfortable and well-maintained. The village of Brouains is charming and picturesque, but if you need supplies, drive into the next larger village of Sourdeval, which is delightful, and just 4km away. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and three of Normandy's major attractions, Le Mont Saint Michel (45 mins), Bayeux (1:20) and Arromanches, for the D-Day beaches (1:30) are very easily accessible. In all, we had a great time, and loved the cottage. A special shout goes out to owner Dave for his tireless, and ultimately successful efforts to correct a glitch in the TV - he was always responsive and never gave up. One note for the owners or Fe-Wo, whoever mentioned it, the restaurant is still 2 minutes away, but is now permanently closed.

Pas trop mal - Annonce imprécise

Il est dit qu'il n'y a pas le wifi, mais il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas de réseau tel. non plus! De plus, il y a bien une tv, mais on ne peut recevoir que des chaînes anglaises (bouquet Sky). Quant au lecteur de dvd, il n'y en a pas, bien qu'il soit annoncé. Enfin, le matelas n'est pas bon.

Hi Claude the property is not advertised with WiFi, next door have WiFi so it is possible to receive internet connection. The tv only has English channels and I plan on getting French channels soon. The DVD player is built into the tv there’s a label on the front of the tv telling you where to put the disc.The mattress is 12 months old and was quite expensive, so I suppose It’s a matter of preference. Thanks Dave
