Gem Rosa villa has a family-sized private pool and a lovely sea view.
The villa is ideal for families and friends wanting spacious, modern accommodation. The villa is set in a peaceful location where you can relax and enjoy the views of the sea, the village and the olive trees, and at night time watch the sunset.
The villa has a large open- plan kitchen and living room opening onto a large covered balcony with a table and chairs which is perfect for outdoor dining.
The villa has 3 bedrooms but in the low season we may be able to offer you a reduce price for under occupancy. All 3 bedrooms have interrupted sea-views so no arguments about who gets the view.
The accommodation is as follows:
Bedroom1 has 2 large single beds
Bedroom 2 has a double bed
Bedroom 3 has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a private balcony
Bedroom 1 and 2 share a private balcony
All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, insect nets and air conditioning.
The kitchen has a full size cooker, fridge freezer and microwave, and a washing machine is available.
We provide all bedding and towels but please bring your own beach towels.
Wi-Fi is available
The village is just a short walk from the villa but as we are set in a hill we recommend car-hire for the less-mobile and those with young children in a pushchair.
As the villa is set in 1 acre of land there is plenty of parking space.

Gem Rosa overlooks Agios Stefanos bay and is within walking distance of Agios Stefanos and Arillas. Both villages have a lovely beach and a good selection of shops, bars, and tavernas. The villa's address is Arillas but it is actually is on the edge of Agios Stefanos village.

Property is great! Views of the sea and the diapontian islands. Great location to visit all the sandy beaches of the west coast of the island. Quiet area for a peaceful vacation!! We loved it. Highlighly recommended.

Fantastic week.

The owner Debbie’s is meticulous with her punctual, detailed communication including arranging transfers. The villa is spacious both indoors around the pool patio are. Excellent location for those who are keen on a short walk to shops beaches and tavernas. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Incredible villa and view

This was the nicest villa I have stayed in. The communication with the owner was first class, she answered everything really quickly. The villa was spotless and well fitted out. But I have to say the pool and view were stunning.The view from the balcony is fantastic.We hired a car, but didn’t use it that much as we just wanted to be at the villa.Both Arillas and San Stefanos are within walking distance, about 10-15 minutes. Both have lovely restaurants and bars and fabulous beaches.

Die Villa Gem Rosa ist wirklich eine tolle Location in Nordwesten von Korfu. Alles ist sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Die Vermieterin Debbie und ihre Kollegin Angie vor Ort kümmern sich wirklich vorbildlich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste. Der Blick vom Balkon ist atemberaubend!

Villa is within easy walking distance to the town of San Stefanos, which offers many restaurants and small shops. Arillas beach accessed by small dirt walking track from the villa, takes approx 10 minutes to access this beautiful beach. The area is wonderfully peaceful and not over run. Approaching Arillas beach from the dirt track offers you an amazing view of the coast line and the crystal clear azure sea. Recommend Ammos restaurant who make delicious fresh juices and salads, very relaxed chilled vibe. Highly recommend Akrogiali in Agios Georgios, amazing setting and incredible sea food. Well worth the short walk for the southern end of Agios Georgios beach.

Lovely spacious property with terrific views

We are a family of four and have just returned from Gemrosa Villa. The property is very spacious and well designed, so that the main terrace provides a shady retreat during hot weather and wonderful views of the sun setting over the sea. It was reassuring to have Isobel and Malcolm nearby for any queries about the property. This villa is a fantastic base for exploring the island and has 2 beaches within walking distance, of which we prefered Arillas beach for its narrow sandy surface and gently shelved clear waters. There are several lovely cafes near by (Akatory, Horizon and Waves) which provided great food and cocktails in lovely surroundings. We hired a car for our stay and think this is preferable for visiting other places of interest on the island. Port Timoni and Kassioppi beaches were great for snorkelling, and Corfu town was lively and interesting without being too touristy, Overall, we all had a wonderful holiday (despite the heatwave!!) and would recommend it to any one who would like a large comfortable and clean space for their holiday. Thank you too, to Debbie for being really helpful prior to our trip.

Great holiday

Villa was exactly how it looked in the photos, it was clean and bright and the views were beautiful. I loved getting up in the morning and sitting on the balcony looking out. The sunsets were amazing. We would return and would recommend.

Fantastic

We had a fantastic family holiday at Gem Villa Rosa. The villa was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The photos doesn't do the villa justice. Good location about 10 mins walk to San Stephanos and the lovely beeches shops and bars and 15 mins to Arillas. Debbie the owner was fantastic really helpful and we would recommend this villa to anyone. We have tried booking for next year unfortunately the dates are already booked.

GEM ROSA VILLA SAN STEFANOS

We stayed there at the end of June 2016 and had a wonderful time. The villa is very spacious, bedrooms have lots of storage and living space is very generous. The balcony overlooks San Stefanos village and bay, with wonderful views. Late afternoon you van watch Kestrels and Buzzards soaring and hunting in the afternoon heat. At night the sunsets from the balcony are beautiful. It is a short walk downhill to either San Stefanos or Arillas and the nearest bars, the Gravia and Akrotiri are also nearer being just a short walk away on the headland separating San Stefanos and Arillas. There are lovely walks around the area and we also hired a boat for half a day and went down the coast to Paleokastritsa, a great day out. We had a hire car for the fortnight we were there, but could easily have managed without one. There is a good bus service to Corfu town, and a local bus connecting Sidari through to Agios Gorgios. All in all a beautiful part of the Island with very friendly people wherever we went, food in tavernas was lovely, very generous portions and lovely Mythos.

Fantastic Honeymoon destination

Spent my wedding and honeymoon at this location last June, the weather was perfect and it was a brilliant holiday for guests of all ages. I wouldn't of wanted my special day to be anywhere else.To top it off we managed to see dolphins in the sea! We will definitely be returning.

The villa is owned by Waine, Debbie and their family.
Since the early eighties we have spent our holidays in Corfu as we love the beautiful scenery, friendly people and the Greek way of life. In 2003 we found some land in "our" village which met our criteria of having a sea-view and be within walking distance of a beach and village. We designed the villa ourselves to exploit the fabulous view and ensured that each bedroom has a sea view.
We live and work in the UK but spend our holidays at our villa in Corfu.

Why they chose this property

We had set criteria while searching for some land to build our villa on. We wanted a lovely sea view, in a good location and to be able to walk to a beach. We found all of them and designed our villa with sea views from every room.

What makes this property unique

The view from our balconies at any time of day is stunning. We like being able to walk to a bar/taverna yet have a peaceful place to retreat to.
