This is a beautiful apartment, with two generous sized bedrooms, two full sized bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The living area is huge (especially when you consider it’s just a two bedroomed apartment) and the south facing balcony has to be one of the biggest on the whole of the Estrela resort. Hans was an efficient host with good communication throughout. We had a lovely break and will be back.

Perfect summer holiday

We had a lovely stay , the apartment was perfect had all that we needed, walking distance to the beach, restaurants. The resort itself was lovely with nice size swimming pools.

Great stay

Hans was very easy to communicate with. The apartment itself is perfect for anyone looking to explore Luz. The complex is incredibly well equipped with fitness centre, two outdoor pools and an indoor pool. We couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay.

First of all Hans (the owner) was brilliant with all communication. Super helpful in advance of our trip and any queries were responded to immediately. The apartment is fantastic and sparkling clean. Very spacious and comfortable beds. The huge terrance is such a bonus as it has sun all day! The furniture also very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could need for a great self catering stay.The complex itself it absolutely lovely and the outdoor pools are beautiful and well maintained. Sadly we didn't use them as it was too cold in February. However we did make use of the fantastic indoor pool (free of charge).You are walking distance to everything in Luz - the beach, supermarkets and cafes/restaurants. Ideal for a lovely vacation. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment in a very safe complex with beautiful surroundings and hope to return again in the future.

Beautiful apartment. One of the nicest apartments we have stayed in. Very spacious, more than enough room for a family of four. The apartment/hotel complex is lovely and the reception staff very helpful. Conveniently located to the beach/shops restaurants. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Lovely apartment.

We have stayed at this apartment on numerous occasion. The location is great. The apartment has everything you need and more! The terrace gets the sunshine from early morning until late afternoon. The owners are extremely helpful and go out of their way to ensure you have great holiday experience. Lots of nice restaurants, 2 good supermarkets and a beautiful beach all within walking distance.

Great accommodation in luz

Family had another great holiday in Luz, accommodation great standard and having a heated outdoor pool and indoor pool was ideal late in season with witha few days of unsettled weather. Apartment in great location for a 10 min stroll to restaurants and the beach. Would highly recommend.

Super apartment in a great complex

Hans is a great host, and was always quick to reply to any communication through the booking and stay. The apartment is spacious and well equipped with a lovely large balcony that gets the sun most of the day. I would definitely recommending booking the apartment.

A Perfect Apartment for Us

We had a fantastic time in Hans' apartment. We have stayed in many different ones over the years in Estrela da Luz and this was by far our favourite. Everything you needed and more, plus a great layout, the pictures do not do it justice. Thank you Hans, we will book again for next year!

Great to hear that you found the apartment excellent. According to me Netflix is only possible through your own account. I have to ask the Reception about this matter. Most of the guests come from the UK and Ireland. All channels come through the central Wifi. So far I never had any complains about having no English channels. Very strange, I will have to ask the Reception about this matter.

Fantastic apartment with a great terrace

We loved our stay at this quiet complex which was well managed and very clean. The apartment itself was fantastic with everything a family of 4 could need and more. The spacious terraces were ideal for a leisurely breakfast in the morning sun but there were also always some areas in the shade if required. We loved that there was a separate children's pool so the adult pool was so peaceful. The gym was well equipped and the indoor pool was perfect for the one cloudy day we had. Easy to walk to the beach and local restaurants which were reasonably priced. We also visited Meia Praia beach which was practically deserted for a 10 euro Uber ride, well worth a visit but the beach at Luz was great too, not overcrowded at all in June. Hans, the property manager was very helpful and provided us with some useful information about the surrounding area. Thank you Hans! Great apartment which we will definitely return to.

Amazing stay in Luz

I booked this holiday mostly based on the previous reviews, and I was not disappointed. As others have said the photos don’t do it justice. It is more modern than the photos suggest. It is so well equipped and very spacious. The kitchen was great and there were loads of bits of food/condiments others had left which was appreciated. The showers were hot, and the AC was great throughout although we didn’t really need it even though it was very hot. With the electric shutters down it kept the apartment really cool. . The complex is beautiful and the pool was good, although we preferred the beach. It is a handy location for the beach, there is a supermarket within 5 mins walking, and the village has many great restaurants. We did not have a single bad meal whilst in Luz! Hans was a great host, very responsive and very helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Super schöne Anlage mit beheizten Pools innen und außen, schöner Gartenanlage, Fitnessstudio und Restaurant. Zum Ortskern und Strand war nur ein kurzer Fußweg nötig. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man so brauch. Sogar Geschirspültabs und Waschmaschine Tabs sowie Gewürze und Kaffee ist vorhanden. Ein Hammer ist die riesige Terrasse mit Blick in den gepflegten Garten. Die Wohnung ist noch viel schöner, als man anhand der Bilder erwartet hat.Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett und jedesmal sehr schnell. Er hat sogar dafür gesorgt, dass der Kühlschrank bei unserer Ankunft mit ein paar Lebensmitteln gefüllt war und die Wohnung 1x zwischendurch gereinigt wurde ( bei 2 Wochen Aufenthalt.

Heerlijk appartement in prachtig resort in t lieflijke Luz

Ruim appartement met heel groot balkon op n mooi resort; veel groen tussen de gebouwen dat goed onderhouden wordt, het staat er mooi bij. Uitgebreide fitnessmogelijkheid dat er ook goed bij staat. Fijn verwarmd binnenzwembad.
