This cottage was stunning, with views of the mountains and bay. Mike had plenty of information for things to do around the area, and actually sent it to us ahead of time so we could plan out what we wanted to do. We were thrilled with our stay, and plan on staying here again in the future. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay in Connemara. This is one of the best house I have ever stayed in, furnished and equiped to the highest standards. The landscape is amazing, location is very quiet, perfect if you like nature. Mike was very helpful to help us prepare for the trip and gave us advice on things to visit in the area. Very remote but easy access to all the key sites.
What a beautiful property! The house and grounds were immaculate and the room was spacious enough for our family to spread out. The host could not have been friendlier and more helpful. This was a very quiet, very relaxing week for our family!
The property is as good or better than the photos in the listing. Well maintained and nicely decorated and equipped. The location is just beautiful! A top-notch place to spend time and to use as a base in exploring Connemara. Mike was very helpful and provided loads of great information about the area.
Beautifully clean, cosy and welcoming. Furniture and fittings are of the best quality and very well cared for. Very good communication from Mike, the owner, who goes the extra mile to make sure you really enjoy your stay and have everything you need. The views from every window are stunning and the location very peaceful. We look forward to returning.
Fantastic Connemara getaway experience in modern, beautifully furnished cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and really did feel luxurious in terms of the furniture and all the amenities provided in the house as part of the stay. It really felt like you were staying in your good friend's country cottage and not just 'some rental'. Mike our host was extremely communicative and always at pains to ensure our stay was perfect. The location of the cottage is close to the end of Rosmuc peninsula, 'far from the madding crowds'. The scenery and view from the cottage is truly stunning and we never tired of the ever-changing view out the window of the sea, mountains, sky. It provided a great base from which to explore Connemara. Highly recommend.
Fantastic cottage in Rosmuc. It’s about 5 km off the main road in a little hamlet with stunning views on all sides - sea and hills. The house is immaculately clean, with plenty of space for a family of 5, with 3 grown-up children. The kitchen has everything you will need. The living room has views on three sides, so no matter the weather you can be immersed in the landscape. The solid fuel stove keeps the space toasty warm. On good days the garden has seats to sit outside. Just be aware that you’re advised not to drink the water from the taps, so bring bottled water. Enjoy!!

Please note that the water to the cold tap in the kitchen is direct from the mains supply but
bottled water is also provided.
From the very first contact with Mike he was incredibly helpful ranging from giving us advice on the ferry and directions through to supermarkets and places to visit. He genuinely cared that we had a good time, and we absolutely did!
The cottage is beyond words! Exactly as described, but no words can adequately convey the views, the scenery and the comfort of the cottage. Yes, it is remote but that is the point. Still plenty of opportunity to visit tourist attractions and shop for supplies, but the peace and quiet can't fail to relax you from the moment you arrive.
We stayed at the end of March so the log / peat fire was delightfully cosy. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything you need.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return at some point.
