Beautiful seaside home

We stayed for a week with our baby and the home was amazing. Short walk into town and the main beach and hiking trails which lead to more secluded beaches (20-25min). The house had everything we needed and Olav and Paulo were helpful with anything we needed.

Wow! The pictures Dont do this property justice! Everything was pristine. We had a hard time choosing our favorite deck, each was wonderful. Salema is a very charming town, and the hikes to other beaches was a big plus.

First class experience

This unit is more stunning in person than on photos. Beautiful views, short walk to 2 beautiful beaches, backs on to nature preserve and hours of hiking. Unit layout is wonderful with lots of outdoor spaces.

We loved this house. Communication with the owner was also optimal—everything was perfect. The on-site resort manager was extremely helpful and always there for us. He gave us valuable tips, and without him, we wouldn't have met the fisherman! In reality, the house is even more beautiful, hard to describe in words. The bedrooms are spacious, have expansive views, and comfortable beds. The kitchen actually has everything you need to prepare meals. We loved the pool; it was very refreshing, and heating wasn't necessary! Every evening, we experienced the sunset over Salema and the sea on the roof terrace, which was phenomenal. We really hope to come back one day. Thank you so much!

The perfect place to stay on the Algarve

This stunning Villa, Salema and the surrounding area provided everything we needed for a perfect holiday! This villa is so beautiful and well equipped it is difficult to leave; you really need more than a week there to be able to properly explore Salema and other beaches and attractions nearby, because at first you won't want to leave it. The amazing views, great pool and other entertainments such as the table tennis are all that is required! It is a pleasure to cook in the kitchen or on the BBQ and even more fun to dine whilst looking out on the sea or the nature reserve! We did manage to get away for some scenic walks and runs in the nature reserve to discover the quiet beaches there and walked into Salema a few times - a gorgeous beach and some great restaurants - it's definitely a good resort for food lovers especially if you like seafood (fish are still caught fresh from this beach)! The golf club with tennis and other facilities is Only a 5 minute drive; Lagos and Sagres are also close by and on bus routes too, but we didn't explore as much as we expected to because the children loved the pool and play room and the adults wanted to relax and enjoy the views from this extra special property! What a great piece of architecture and gorgeous furnishings too; yes the master suite was the best but it is all well designed and in the perfect place! We too need to return - once here just isn't enough!

A truly fantastic property, furnished impecably by the owners. Stunning views all round, especially the roof terrace and master bedroom suite. The owners have thought of everything and spent a lot of time and thought in making sure you have everything you need during your stay from a well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need and Great TV with Sky and fast Wi-fi (during our stay we experienced no issues with wi-fi) Children are well catered for with a superb heated pool and games room for endless matches of Ping Pong. Saelma itself has all you could need, Shops, restaurants, beach, waves and sun. Will definitely be returning in the near future

We are a family of five, living in Oslo, Norway. We have always enjoyed travelling and have visited many countries before finally falling in love with Portugal.
Portugal is easy to get to and the weather is always nice. For us Salema is a quality, unspoiled destination in the Algarve with good food, stunning nature, clean beaches and friendly people (that also speak good English).

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with exactly this area after renting a villa nearby five years ago. We have since holidayed here at least twice a year. For us it is the perfect get-away destination offering everything that we like - unspoiled nature, clean beaches and sunny weather. We like that Salema is still a relatively small village with an authentic feel to it. We also appreciate that there are an abundance of good local affordable restaurants, as well as a really good supermarket close by. Our familiy has made use of the many sporting choices available in the arean, including horseriding and surfing.

What makes this property unique

The architect designed house is a brand new modern contemporary villa. It is light, airy and furnished in Scandinavian style. There are fantastic views either of the ocean, nature park , mountains in the distance or rooftops of Salema. It has a high standard and luxury, private house feel.
