The apartment is clean and smartly decorated with bright and airy rooms and offers very comfortable beds with only the best top grade 12-inch orthopaedic memory foam mattresses that give an excellent night’s sleep as well as a high speed fibre-optic wireless internet.
As the apartment is only a few minutes away to public transport, it affords easy access to the City of London for business, West End for shopping and of course central London for Theatre and Sight-seeing.
There is a smartly furnished lounge that has comfortable sofa seating for 6 people. The lounge has a 42 inch (107cms) flat screen TV connected to all UK TV channels.

Lorraine's place was nice and spacious, only 10 min tube ride to Oxford Street. The beds were very comfortable. The flat was perfectly suited for a family if 4 eith kids. It gets quite noisy at night if you are not used to it.

Fantastic Experience in this Perfectly Located Accommodation
Our party of 4 people stayed here for over 3 weeks and it was a fantastic experience. It is perfectly located, not only a short walk to the tube but to a lovely area that has plenty of places to explore. It was clean, inviting, spacious and we did not experience any issues whatsoever throughout our stay. The supplied utilities were satisfactory and all of the rooms and storage were more than suitable to cater for all of us! The host is extremely friendly and informative, she is easily contactable and was a wonderful help leading up to and throughout our stay. We would strongly recommend this property for future bookings!

Nice apartment and a great location, just minutes from the tube. Not as spacious as the photos indicated and is somewhat tired looking. More lighting in the main room would be helpful.
The apartment has lots of potential if it was updated.
Didn't get to meet our host in person but was able to communicate with her quickly when needed.

Thank you for the positive things you mentioned about the apartment. Everyone's taste is different. The apartment was newly painted and had new flooring laid down just last June (4 months ago). Best Wishes.
The property was nice. The kitchen was well stocked. Washing machine worked well. The shower is very hot. I would recommend not trying to get it any hotter until you know that it has reached its hottest temp. Location was as written. Stores were close an was the transport.

We were a family of 6, so space was very tight. There were only 2 rolls of toilet paper and paper towels for a week long stay. Wi-fi had the wrong connection information, but the owner’s agent sent the new information when we contacted him. Wi-fi only worked in the living area. We loved the neighborhood and ate at many local restaurants. Easy access to the tube station.

Thank you for the positive things you mentioned about my place. It is appreciated. Yearly Wifi maintenance resulted in upgrade the morning you arrived. This meant a new password. The Engineer forgot to mention it. Cleaners found Wifi extender on the dinning table. A pack of 9 toilet rolls was provided for your family. 7 fitted inside the unit below wc and the remaining two were left outside. We try not to take too long during Check-In as Guest are usually very tired. However, we will point this out to Guests in future. Pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. Best Wishes.

Apt. was smaller than it looks on the VRBO site. Building is very old and needs lots of work. most everything seem to work OK, The bedding was old and not very good quality. Never could never understand how to turn the heating on, but the weather was Good so we got lucky..

Family trip to London
This was a comfortable, clean apartment. We appreciated having good beds and the four of us slept well. It was nice to have a kitchen to heat up some food for meals. Travel into London took a bit longer than we expected. Although the metro stop is very close, it still took us at least 25 minutes to get to any sights in London (we used Apple Maps for public transport directions). The check-in process was challenging. Our Eurostar train was delayed multiple times and this created a big inconvenience for Lorraine since we arrived at 9:00pm and she needed to wait for us to give us her 20 minute orientation. Because of her costs to travel home, we had to pay a late arrival fee of 40 pounds. This is good to consider when you’re making your travel arrangements that an arrival time between 3-6 is definitely preferred by Lorraine. Lorraine met with me at checkout and wanted to know how our stay was. She expressed her gratitude that we left the apartment tidy.

We appreciate and make a point of thanking Guests who take care of the apartment. Although, there are FOUR of you, your booking was for ONE person. One week before your arrival, we sent a gentle reminder that we do not know when to expect you. Countless Guests have successfully taken in 10 mins a journey that took you 25 minutes. As with Airlines and Airports, Eurostar arrivals can be checked online! Like most Hosts, there is a Check-In time of between 3-6pm. Arrivals outside these times need to be arranged in advance. You were informed of the charges when you booked 9 mths before. So, you had plenty of time to book elsewhere. Really, since you did not respond to our messages it was impossible to know when you will be arriving. When you finally arrived, I accepted your apology as you explained to me that you had lost overview of your 8+ VRBO bookings and had confused our booking with another, resulting in a 13 hour wait for you and your family. I was happy to answer all your questions (and you had plenty) during Check-In. Best Wishes.

What was posted was not what we got. It wasn't cleaned thoroughly, there was no microwave, no hot water for the first 5 days, it was not 1905 sq ft, there was only one toilet and no en-suite, it didn't sleep 8 people, all the utensils were brand new, which was great except nothing was washed. The plumber had to come in several times to fix things, and the tv never worked. The host asked us to purchase the correct coax cable and she would reimburse us. That's not acceptable. She was very sweet but for the amount of money we paid to stay here, it was an extreme disappointment. And she never offered any compensation whatsoever. The Wi-Fi didn't work until she brought an extender for the signal. Not sure where the modem was but it wasn't close. All in all I wouldn't stay here again. I will be contacting VRBO about a refund of some sort.

Really, since you arrived, you continually looked for compensation options any way you can get it. Despite being told that the Wifi Router and Booster are in the optimal positions inside the apartment, you moved the replaced Booster and the Boiler was turned Off! Afterwards, you admitted Wifi reception was working fine. The Plumber came the day you reported no hot running water and turned the Boiler back on. I personally offered to come and clean the areas you pointed out, but you responded and said it was not necessary as you had already cleaned it yourself. You arrived in London on 9th of June, and traveled to Scotland for Harry Styles concert that weekend and returned the next Tuesday. You had hot water before and after you returned. How is it you had No hot water for 5 days?! The TV was working the morning you arrived, then the male-to-male connector went missing! I even brought cables from my own home but not being a specialist, I did not realize that I had connected the cable to the wrong port on the wall. Something the Engineer figured out in seconds. At this point, I offered you to move elsewhere with no penalties at all. To my surprise you responded, saying you very much want to stay and that I have not ruined your holiday at all! As mentioned in the description, the apartment has only One Toilet and an en-suite Shower to the master bedroom as well as a separate bathroom.This is also why the apartment is priced as it is. It is true that the colour of the walls is not as advertised. This is because of recent damages caused by previous Guests. I also indicated to VRBO that I do not want you to return as a Guest and I will not recommend you to other VRBO Hosts.
Quite honestly the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in.
This is a council building. Window in hallway on stairs absolutely filthy dirty with rust on frames, dampness on nearby wall. Mattress in main bedroom so utterly thin. 2 of the pillows were flatter than pancakes, barely having any stuffing. Pillow protective coverings so stained. 2 armchairs in bedroom were torn one of them even having duct tape on the arm. In bathroom bottom drawer had ‘hazard tape’ on it to keep it together, the owner telling us that it was broken by previous tenants advising us not to use it. Curtains on bedroom window were too small not covering window when closed. Lighting in sitting room so dim, we had to use mobile torch to see our food when eating in the evening. Some of the windows would not open. Quite frankly it was the worst place we have ever stayed it and I strongly believe it should not be listed for letting. Extremely disappointed and cross we paid money for this letting. We have photos of all we have mentioned but there is no ability on this site to upload.

My Block has been Owner Occupier since it was built in the 1930s and I have owned my property for over 35 years now. How many people really stayed at the apartment? For fear of negative reviews, 99% of Hosts don’t CALL OUT Guests like you instead, like them, I gave you 5-Stars and moved on. Other Guests have been happy to stay in my apartment. A simple two click due diligence would have shown you my Block is not a Council Block but, you knew exactly your intention is to cause maximum harm and damage to my reputation. You kept your promise and gave the worst review possible. Considering how you left the apartment, I did not make any claims from your deposit which I could have and you knew that. Not to say that Council Apartments are terrible. After all, about 40% of advertised properties in London are ex-council apartments most of them are situated in Central London and Guests have happily stayed in them and I hope will continue to. Anyway, I hope other Hosts read this comment before accepting your booking because, more and more Hosts are reporting such experiences with their Guests during Host meetings. Nevertheless, best Wishes.
This apartment had everything we needed, with good security, a spacious master bedroom and the choice of bathrooms. The host waited for us when we arrived as it took longer because of a train strike. She also offered the service of getting our laundry serviced as we did not understand the workings of the washer. A very comfortable stay.
Die Wohnung ist gut für Familien geeignet. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist super (U-Bahn, Overground, Thameslink und Bus, Restaurants, Pub, Supermarkt, Park alles in der Nähe). Lorraine ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin. Sie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Fewo fanden wir wie besprochen vor. Lorraine war die perfekte Gastgeberin. Check in erfolgte dank ihr und William unkompliziert. Die Wohnung selbst lag nur wenige Gehminuten von der Tube entfernt, mit der wir innerhalb 15 Minuten mitten im Zentrum waren. Eine perfekte Ausgangslage. Lebensmittelgeschäfte und Restaurants waren in fußläufiger Entfernung. Einziges Manko für uns vom Lande: Der Straßenlärm. Ohropax brachten Abhilfe. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Diferente concepto de baños
Lorraine y William muy atentos y preocupados. Para dormir está bien, los espacios comunes son pequeños, cocina chiquita pero bien equipada. Limpieza de la l9za y cuchillería fatal. Los baños son literalmente compuestos por lo que dice el anuncio, no tienen más que un toilet, los otros 2 sólo ducha u lavamanos! Nunca vi eso antes, y hemos viajado muuucho. Ubicación buena, si te alejas un par de cuadras el barrio mejora y tienes buenas opciones de bares y restorantes. Debes calcular a lo menos 20 minutos de viaje para las atracciones turísticas, ejemplo a la Torre demoramos 50 minutos. Gracias por la preocupación y solución rápida al problema que se presentó.

There are grocery stores, restaurants, railways, and bus stations right at your fingertips. Downtown London is a short train ride away. If you're a Beatles fan, Abbey Road is a half mile walk away! What a fun find!
The apartment was great, too. Comfortable and clean. Being the hottest week of the year, open windows and fans kept the sleep comfortable. The traffic outside our window was noisy in the morning, but that was a minimal hiccup considering all the perks to this location.

All three stations are only 3 minutes from the apartment!
