The charm and tranquility are the distinctive signs of this cozy apartment, located in a building in a very pleasant and calm street. Our beautiful apartment offers all kinds of comforts: living room with kitchenette, washing machine, fridge and electric hobs, iron and ironing board, central heating, hair dryer, sheets and blankets, towels. We also have a nice balcony with a table where you can enjoy pleasant breakfasts or spend romantic moments at the candle light. You will be in a silent situation but 5 minutes from Rome Center and Vatican Area.

LOCATION

The apartment is located very close to the lively Aurelio neighbourhood, the western area of the city, close to the majestic Vatican walls and the ancient Aurelian Walls. In a couple of steps, you will be able to immerse yourself in an authentic Roman neighbourhood where you will get in touch with the customs of the inhabitants of the city, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some restaurants that aren’t yet touristic like simple and tasty “pizza al taglio” and trattorias. Summing up, this is the perfect place to savour the “real” Rome without giving up the comfort of reaching the city center and major tourist attractions. The St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums, the famous Piazza Navona and the charming Campo dei Fiori are at a short distance as well as for the archaeological area of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The surroundings of the apartment are very animated offering a great shopping area and a wide variety of Italian and foreign restaurants. All types of public transport are available nearby: train stop San Pietro an many bus stops at 200 m, The apartment is a 40 minute taxi ride from the airport of Fiumicino. Cozy apartment, perfect location - stayed here for 3nights and wish we could stay longer. Public transportation is a few mins by walk away, tons of cats to hangout with in the neighborhood, cute coffee bars right around the corner, and very safe location.

Host didnt have a clue. From airport take shuttle bus to Aurelia. Then take city bus 916. Just tap your credit card inside the bus. Or take train from airport to Termini, then near the station taks bus 64 to the end of the line. 5 min. walk to appartment.

Everything was good, we mainly just used it to sleep/shower because we explored a ton! The bedroom and bathroom area was a little tight to move through while getting ready but the living room was open enough and the big mirror was great to use.

Well placed

The flat is near to the Vatican and was exzellent for transport or walking into the city area. Also easy to get to the airport with the train direkt from San Pietro. The flat was very clean but it needs a bit of carecare.

Nice apartment

Apartment was clean and had everything you could need. The apartment itself is a little more ‘tired’ than it looks in the pictures but is still nice. Only downside is the distance from the main road, up a cobbled side street and a few banks that aren’t very inviting in the heat

The location was ok. On the one hand, the Vatican and the city center were within 20 minutes' walk. The bus and train connections were also very good. A supermarket was within 10 minutes' walk. On the other hand, the area was a bit littered. The apartment was very clean. The furnishings were more or less as described. The kitchen equipment was minimal, however. During our stay, the lock on the apartment door was broken. We immediately spoke to Marta about it. It was very disappointing that she didn't take us seriously and didn't take care of us. Instead, she played it down and said that the apartment had never been broken into.

Het appartement ligt heel erg mooi centraal en was netjes schoon. Maar er mankeerde best veel aan: kapotte tegels voor de douche, een loszittende WC-bril en een niet in de daarvoor bedoelde uitsparing op het aanrechtblad passende kookplaat. Ook de foto’s op de site komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid. Kortom: plussen en minnen. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is matig, maar de host en ontvangst erg vriendelijk.

Blick auf den Petersdom

Wir waren 7 Tage in der Wohnung, um Rom zu besichtigen. Schon der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin vor der Anreise war sehr gut. Uns wurde ein Abholservice vom Flughafen angeboten, den wir dann auch buchten. Dabei machte ich einen Fehler und nannte eine falsche Uhrzeit. Als wir in Rom landeten, sagte ich der Vermieterin Bescheid und wir wurden schnell abgeholt. Wir konnten auch entsprechend früher in die Wohnung. Ein toller Service. Die Wohnung liegt im 3. OG eines Apartmenthauses in Hanglage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof San Pietro. Die Wohnung ist einfach eingerichtet, aber es ist alles da. Ein großer Schrank, eine kleine Küchenzeile mit Kochstelle (2 Flammen) und einem Kühlschrank. Vom Balkon hat man einen Blick auf weitere Apartmenthäuser und schaut über die Dächer mit den vielen Antennen auf die Kuppel des Petersdoms. Auch vom Bett aus (rechte Seite) kann man die Kuppel sehen, wenn man die Badtür offen lässt. Die Straße liegt am Hang und ist eine Sackgasse, so dass es hier für römische Verhältnisse relativ ruhig ist. 5 Minuten zu Fuß den Hügel hinunter gibt es bereits Cafés/Pasticcerias, Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Der Petersplatz ist dann etwa 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Aufgrund der Topografie muss man für jeden Ausflug zuerst am Petersdom vorbei. Für uns jedesmal ein tolles Erlebnis, wo wir insbesondere Abends noch gerne verweilten. Wenn man zum Kolosseum oder Caracalla-Therme möchte, ist der Weg entsprechend weit. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen die Wohnung hat alles gehalten was beworben wurde, gerne immer wieder, die Nähe zum Petersdom ist absolut perfekt, der vor Ort Service mit Marta ebenfalls perfekt. Wenn man jetzt noch die Wohnungstür abschließen könnte wäre das auch super. Durch mehrfaches überstreichen kann man die Tür nur zu ziehen nicht abschließen. Kommen gerne wieder in die Wohnung.

Annonce avec un mauvais numéro de téléphone donc stress en arrivant à Rome. La personne qui est finalement arrivée avec un léger retard n'était pas particulièrement sympathique. Personnel un peu pressé mais qui a tout de même été présent lorsque nous avons eu besoin. Sinon...Appartement au NORD ne prenant pas du tout le soleil. Il est quand même bien placé très proche de la place ST Pierre. L'appartement est très bien pour 4 à 5 jours pour deux personnes.Hervé Sophie

Super bien situé

Le logement est très situé à côté du Vatican et du train régional tout en restant au calme. Il manque cependant quelques éléments dans cet appartement et quelques inconvénients à noter, cafetière italienne trop petite, la plaque de cuisson ne fonctionne pas trés bien, le frigo est un peu petit, les porte du placards de la chambre ne coulissent pas ... Par contre un super accueil de MICHELA qui fait tout pour rendre service, qui a toujours le sourire et qui a été formidable. Merci encre Michela !!!

Perfect little nest 💏!

My parents organised the trip to Rome with my girlfriend for my 21st Birthday. Out of all the apartments my Mum emailed me we chose the ‘Love Nest’ and we’re pleased we did as it was the perfect base from which to explore the beautiful city! The apartment is exactly as depicted in the photos. The amazing Vatican City literally on our doorstep, took us 30 mins or so though to walk to the other tourist attractions but once there they are all close to each other cutting walking time down!! Michela our contact was brilliant and very helpful, Mum had asked Michela to organise a taxi to collect us on arrival and then again to pick us up on departure day,both occasions went very smoothly with no hiccups! Our early flight meant that we were in Rome and at our apartment by lunchtime,Michela was there to meet us and let us check in early as the apartment was clean and ready,this was a massive advantage as we didn’t have to drag our luggage around,it also allowed us to have a little rest before freshening up to go and start exploring and finding our bearings! We had a fantastic 4 and a half days (5 nights) and I’m sure we shall return as it’s truly such an amazing romantic city and there’s still more for us to explore 💑!

Cozy little apartment for you to enjoy

Being our first time in Rome, we weren't sure of what to look for. The apartment was all they said, just could use one or two more lights, but that's just a very minor thing. You'll be in the apartment to clean up and sleep as you see within walking distance to many great sites and neighborhoods. The train station is literally a 2 minute walk. Manager was there as we walked to the apartment and treated us very friendly. Communication was a little barrier but still good. If you're going to Italy, learn to speak their language a little and you'll go a long way. Go onto the balcony and see the dome of St. Peter's Basillica! Breathtaking. Plenty of ammenities only minutes away, but if you are from the USA, don't complain about having to go to the grocery store everyday because the fridge is so small. You're in Rome, go out and immerse your self in their lifestyle! You will not regret it. We loved it!

Perfect For What We Wanted

This was exactly what we were expecting. It’s a no thrills apartment, don’t expect to cook a full meal with just two hobs it just won’t work. The place was clean and makes an idea base, if you want to walk out, go out via the train station, you can get a 64 bus which is very frequent but is known as the pick pocket route so be careful. The Vatican is within easy reach as are some other attractions , but you do need to book in advance for things like the Vatican and Colosseum to beat the queues. My only gripe is that the sockets need some attention and there were a number of light bulbs that had blown.......

Not Quite as Advertised

The Apartment is decent for the price you are paying, however there are some things to know before you stay. - The WiFi only let one of us on at a time and we had to keep resetting it to let the other person use it. - There was enough hot water for one of us to shower at a time (not both) and when we arrived, they had not turned on the hot water yet so though both of us were dying to shower after an international flight it was cold showers or no showers. - There is one very tiny dish towel so washing our dishes was interesting. - The flower pots were dried and in desperate need of some weeding. - It was also very damp in the apartment. Granted, Rome had gotten a lot of rain the week before, but a line outside to hang our towels would've been nice considering everything felt damp inside the apartment. The place is overall a decent place to stay, it could use a bit more up-keeping and maybe some warnings like, you will not have hot water the first night. The person letting us in also kept us waiting for 50min. Our flight was delayed and we let them know way in advanced. I messaged her when we arrived at the airport (like requested by the owner of the property) but we were left waiting outside for 50min without a word from her.

the appartement is as showed on the pictures. small as expected but very functionnal. the warmest welcome and farewell was offered by Michela...!!! We felt home in Roma the instant we met her. she also recommended dinner a Dino e Tony , family restaurant...and family we felt. in a matter of a few minutes we were in the middle of Vatican. If you come by train.... the S. Pietro station is 300 meters from the appartement. we left earrly in the morning to the airport and once again we used the train... cheap and simple. we are looking forward to visit again. grazie mille e ciao

Schmuckkästchen inmitten Roms

Für einen Besuch in Rom zu zweit der ideale Ausgangspunkt. Ruhig gelegen, vom Bahnhof keine 5 Gehminuten entfernt, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden und eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf die Kuppel des Petersdoms. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden was einem den Aufenthalt verschönert. Hervorheben möchte ich die überaus freundliche Kommunikation und perfekte Organisation. Wir hatten einen Transfer vom Flughafen gebucht. Der Fahrer kümmerte sich um den Gepäcktransport zum Auto und informierte unsere Gastgeberin über die voraussichtliche Ankunft. Obwohl wir bereits um 09.30 Uhr in Rom eintrafen, wurden wir von Marta freundlich in der Wohnung empfangen und konnten sofort einziehen. Für unseren nächsten Rombesuch bestimmt wieder hier.

Ein besonders großes Lob an Marta

Wir sind gleich bei der Ankunft in Rom bestohlen worden. Geld, Papiere und Bankkarten alles weg. So kamen wir im Apartemento bei Marta an. Sie hat uns sofort geholfen indem sie uns Ihre Kontonummer gab und wir über eine FreundinGeld auf Ihr Konto transferieren konnten, so daß wir am nächsten Tag etwas flüssig waren und beim Konsulat alles in die Wege leiten konnten. Auch sonst stand sie für unsere Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Das Apartementos war o.k., die Lage war super. Alles war fußläufig zu erreichen, besonders wichtig, wenn man wie wir mit dem Geld haushalten mußte. Wir kommen wieder um dann Rom richtig genießen zu können. .

Meget småt. Centralt for stationen. Dårlige stole. Mangler greb. Fint til kortere ophold.

Fint til korte ophold, hvor det kun er seng og bad, der er behov for. Ligger centralt ifht stationen man kan gå under pg komme hurtigere til byen via. Nemt at finde rundt i bus og metrostationer. Der var tre vin glas, der alle var revnede. Der var pænt og rent. God seng og pude. Men stolene var for skrøbelige og ikke rare at sidde i længere tid eks på terassen med et glas vin. Kun et par minutter til San Pietro stationen og skrår man over Peters Pladsen er man rimelig tæt på metrostationen. Bus 64 fra termini over Piazza venetia til San pietro blev brugt et par gange. Flot oplevelse af Peters kirken fra pladsen om aftenen. Fint sted og rent område. Jeg vil dog bo på den anden side af Tiberen næste gang pga den ekstra afstand.

Wunderbar

Die Wohnung liegt super gelegen. Vom Balkon aus hat man eine schöne Sicht auf die Kuppel von der Peterskirche. Der Bahnhof ist ca. 5 min entfernt. Die Wohnung war super sauber und mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet. Vielen Dank an Marta für den netten Empfang und die Hilfe. Jederzeit wieder!!! Rom ist einfach ein Erlebnis.
