We really enjoyed this ocean-front property. The lower deck patio was so peaceful and breezy and the kids loved running back and forth to the beach on their own. The house had plenty of room for all of extended family. Our hosts were very kind and responsive any time we had any questions.

Our family vacation at Call of the Sea was perfect! The house is beautiful and has everything we needed. Especially enjoyed that the house is right on the water with a walkway over the dunes. There are views of the water from most rooms. The hot tub was so nice after a busy day on the beach and the whole downstairs area was a great place to watch the kids play, and usually had a nice breeze. Mai was wonderful to work with and she responded quickly when we had questions or minor problems.

The house was wonderful and positioned perfectly for accessing the beach. We all had plenty of room to spread out and join together for meals. The wagon and beach chairs were fantastic for setting up in the sand. We enjoyed our stay and would return if we make it back to Galveston!

We had an excellent stay! The house is very spacious, and the layout was perfect for our group of 11. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the design provided a nice balance of togetherness and privacy. Most of the bedrooms are on the second floor, while the kitchen and living room are on the top floor, which worked out really well for our family.Two of the bedrooms are especially large and feel very luxurious. We were celebrating my wife's parents' 58th wedding anniversary and traveled with my wife's sisters and their families, and the home accommodated everyone comfortably.Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and the photos accurately represent the property. If anything, the house feels even larger and more impressive in person. It was also very clean and well maintained.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a large family or group.

We really enjoyed our time at Mai’s home. She was very helpful with any questions we had. She had some recommendations on the island that we took advantage of - which was a nice bonus! Beds were very comfortable, views of ocean were great!

Mai was an excellent host. She was very responsive and is more than willing to help you with any questions you have with your stay.The house was clean, beds were comfortable and location is right off the ocean. The hot tub a nice touch. Plenty of towels, beach towel and space for a group of 13. Location is a bit outside of where all restaurants and bars are but we knew that going into it.Would recommend this house and Mai to anyone looking for a safe clean space with a Ocean View

Best vacation ever! Mai was so responsive and easy to work with. The check-in and check-out process was so convenient and simple. This was our first VRBO and it went above and beyond my expectations. We had 5 adults and 3 kids ranging from 4-13 years old and everyone had enough space and bathrooms were perfect. It was a perfect vacation. Most time spent outside at beach, on decks, and in the open bottom area.

Fabulous Rental

Our whole family met in Galveston. We had a marvelous time together at the rental. The beds were so comfy, and we loved being right on the beach!!! The weather was perfect, too!! We are already planning our next visit.

Great for groups

This property is located far enough out of busy Galveston to be much less crowded. It is also a great setup for families or a bunch of friends. The kitchen was the most well equipped kitchen of any rental we have ever booked and the owner was great to work with.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration at this beautiful beachfront home. A large open area combination of living room, kitchen, and dining room was perfect for a family celebration. The connecting balcony with the bay front view was beautiful and added to our Thanksgiving meal celebration. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a big plus for this home. Mae Dang is an excellent virtual hostess. She was responsive and timely with all our questions. Mae responded within minutes to all our pre-rental questions. She went above and beyond with every detail.
