Just built, Seabatical is the first home at Pointe West with a private pool!

Four bedrooms and an open-concept living makes this large home feel inviting and relaxing; it's great for family time!

Please contact us with any questions or concerns PRIOR to booking.

Cancellation: Guest receives 100% (Of what was paid minus the cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 90 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% (Of what was paid minus cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds.

Please Note:
Must be 25 years or older to reserve & must stay at home. Rental agreement signed with mailing address, names and ages of everyone staying, govt. issued ID, selfie, & vehicle information required, no access even if paid in full.

No events, prom, graduation, or parties of any sort with prior written approval. Additional fees may apply.

The beach house is built on pilings. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach the first floor/main living area. Please contact us for properties with elevator access or bedrooms on the ground floor.

Pointe West Beach Club: The use of the Beach Club is optional. It offers numerous amenities including, an infinity pool, children's pool, lazy river(heated in the winter), fitness center, concierge, and restaurant. The Resort is independently run and charges $25 per person, 4 years and older. The access fee is paid by credit card or cash directly to the Beach Club and is not included in rental rates.

The community is easily walkable. Golf Carts are a great way to get around as well. However, golf carts dune buggies or any other types are vehicles are not allowed on Galveston beaches, dunes, or wetlands; this is city law!

Great Birthday Weekend

We had a great birthday weekend for our 12 year old daughter and some of her friends. The set up was great for adults with two suites with king beds and the other rooms with the bunks were great for the girls. Everyone loved the pool/ entertainment area and the porches with great views and breezes.

Our first time using a vacation rental, Coastal Waves and Seabatical were great!

Coastal Waves team was always available to answer questions. Seabatical was a great location, a five minute walk to the beach as well as having a private pool. The house accommodated our group without issues. The rental was clean and comfortable upon arrival, we literally dropped our bags and got busy vacationing. Thank you Coastal Waves for your part in making our vacation a success!

Excellent accommodations. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is very well thought out. The house having its own pool was important to us. That put this house far above the others.

Loved the property, it was gorgeous. Location to the beach wasn't bad at all. We loved the amenities as well. Only had one unpleasant experience with a CW employee who accused us of lying & doing things we did not do to the pool on the property. The morning after we got there I called & asked that someone come "shock" the pool bc it was green & was told I was lying & then accused us of pouring beer into the pool which we never did. All that needed to be done was send someone out to look at the pool which finally happened after the accusations. Very unprofessional & bad customer service on his part. To the homeowners, you have a beautiful house. Thank you for using it as a rental property for others like my family. We had an enjoyable experience.

Family weekend was wonderful

We actually had to change properties to Family Tides about a month before we arrived. We loved the house. It was beautiful. As soon as we all walked in we were so impressed that it looked even better than the photos. It was so clean, smelled great and very comfortable. This was our first time to rent a house. We will be doing it again. It was a quick walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our morning at the Beach Club. We have 4 teenage grandkids. They loved the bunk room in the house. The kitchen was wonderful. I typically do not like cooking but it was fun to have everyone help and visit while we prepared the meals in the huge kitchen! We had all the tools we needed. I loved that this property had a dining table that seated all 8 of us! That was a plus. I spent the mornings on the patios with my coffee and the beautiful views!
