Residence Sala Comacina (apartment 5) affords breathtaking lake views inside, expertly constructed boasting ample space for large families or groups of up to 10 guest to relax and unwind in comfort. Take in the wonderful panorama from your private terrace, watch the sunrise as your breakfast to the lake and mountain backdrop, top of your tan. Alternatively, unwind at either the shared outdoor pool open in summer available each apartment here at the residence or at the indoor the communal spa, pool and sauna open 365 days a year. Secure parking space. Two double bedrooms, a twin room plus an additional living area located on a seperate level for extra privacy featuring a "family bedroom" (including a double bed and two single beds that conveniently slide in and out into
the wardrobe) to maximise on space. The family bedroom sleeps four guests. In total the home comfortably sleeps ten guests. The apartment includes one ensuite bathroom for use in the "family bedroom" featuring a shower and wc plus two further bathrooms, one bathroom includes a shower, the other includes a with bath each with wc and vanity unit. We have five apartments at the residence to choose from. All homes include satellite tv with English speaking channels and DVD players.

Spa available at the residence for guests of each home to unwind and relax including indoor brand new pool, spa and sauna open 365 days a year.

The home is conveniently located to reach the village of Sala Comacina with its pretty lake front and typical italian village life. Guests enjoy the stroll to the lake to dine and enjoy delicious local italian dishes and wonderful wines. Sala is home to an excellent wine bar, superb butcher with the freshest cuts, bakery and convenience store and cafe bars.
In less than 5 minutes walk from the property you can reach a lido with beach volley, basketball area, 5-a-side football, restaurant and beach.
In Sala Comacina there is another beach and a ferry station with a taxi boat to the island.
Plus some excellent restaurants serving delicious italian fayre such as La Tirlindana, the one on the island, Taverna Bleu, etc..
The location of the residence means you are just a short drive to Lenno for the beach, ferry and supermarket. Less than 5 minutes by car. Just a few of the highlights our guests love include Villa Balbianello, 007 Casino Royale. Como city, 30 minutes from the residence, Bellagio, just a ferry ride away. The cable car to Pigra with breathtaking views over Como is less than a 10 minute drive. Mountaineers and cyclists will enjoy the majestic mountains to explore. Further afield, trips to the glitzy town San Moritz are popular or for the more adventurous, Monte Generoso offers mountain top and lake scenery that a sight to behold. The city of Milan is just an hours drive as is outlet shopping at Fox Town in Mendrisio over the Swiss border.

Wonderful property on Lake Como. Apartment was clean and well appointed. The building and the apartment are well secured and we all felt safe during our stay. All the space was perfect for two couples, one couple upstairs and one couple downstairs. Kitchen was well equipped so you can cook in our better yet.....use the recommendations for local restaurants. Pool and hot tub were great for relaxing in the evenings. There is a lift which makes getting luggage in and out simple. Location makes access to Switzerland, Bellagio, and Milan simple. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. It is Italy so remember that cars, roads, and parking areas are smaller than are normal for the US. Would love to stay here again.

misleading information and uninformed as to building works next door and on the property

We arrived at the property and where surprised to see a villa next door, where it clearly is not in the picture online, also there where two very large building cranes directly in front of the balcony area spoiling any possible chance of a view at the lake or the mountains, these things alone would have stoped me booking this villa had i known.We where then woken every morning at 6.30 by the builders next door completing the path, if that was not bad enough on Wednesday morning at 7.30 we had a roofer working on the roof which was very loud, we received no warning of this from the manager and when contacted he informed me that the work would stop immediately which it didn't until an hour later.The pool area floor was in very poor condition and in some places on the steps a little dangerous, I am deeply disappointed with my stay as this was a lot of money for me to pay, i am in the building trade and go on holiday to get away from all the above mentioned issues, i mentioned my issues to the manager on departure and he just offered a discount when i book with him again, i found this highly inadequate and would like to know if you will be offering me any compensation for my unenjoyable stay, regards Mr K Moye.

An amazing accomodation with an amazing view of Lake Como!

Our stay at Sala Comacina was outstanding. We were greeted upon arrival by Matteo who showed us the property and also provided recommendations for activities, food, and water sport rentals. The property was clean, well-stocked, and spacious. We had a party of 10, including 3 children, and the set-up was perfect with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms - the kids (8 years, 4 years, and 2 years) really enjoyed playing on the veranda. The view from the veranda was beautiful and we ate outside often. Following the recommendations given, we had amazing food, enjoyed time in Bellagio, hiked to the border of Italy and Switzerland, paddled around Lake Como on kayaks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are hoping to return to this area again and will definitely stay at this property again.

Insg. Ok - Tolle Aussicht, neu und modern eingerichtet aber mit Mängeln

Wir waren über Silvster für 5 Tage im Appartment Nr. 5. mit 10 Personen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar vom Ort in die Ferienwohnung begleitet. Das Haus ist neu gebaut und modern eingerichtet allerdings ist die Einrichtung nicht langlebig und nicht von guter Qulität. Die Rahmen der Steckdosen und Lichtschalter fallen bei Berühung ab. Die Rückwand der Küche qulit auf, Türgriffe fallen ab...Die 3 Schlafzimmer sind im untersten der drei Stockwerke und wirklich nur zum Schlafen gemacht. Zwei der Zimmer haben Fenster direkt gegen eine Wand und die Betten waren leider sehr hart und unbequem. Der Balkon im Wohnbreich dagegen ist sehr groß und man hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den See und die Ortschaft Lenno und im Hintergrund ein wirklich tolles Bergpanorama! Im Keller ist ein großer Poolbereicht mit Jccuzi und Sauna, den alle 5 Appartments gemeinsam nutzen. Das hat uns etwas iritiert, da das aus unserer Beschreibung nicht wirklich raus zu lesen war. War aber im Nachhinein ok. Autos konnte man in der abgeschlossenen Garage parken.Wir hatte insg. einen schönen Aufenthalt. Als Luxus Villa oder Residenz würden wir das Haus allerdings nicht bezeichnen, sondern ehr als große Ferienwohnung oder Appartment. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mit Freunden oder Famiele aber sehr gut geignet.

Simply heaven.

We stayed here with friends last week and had a wonderful time here. The residence is even better than the photographs indicate, always a nice surprise! Lots of space inside and outside to take advantage of that view, which it must be said, we never bored of. Sala is a quiet village with a few shops and restaurants dotted about, a lovely wine bar, deli mini market and butchers. It was like stepping back in time and just what we needed. We took a ferry onto the lake, easily the stand out highlight of our trip and dined on the Island in front of the home. Sala is a hidden gem. Long may it stay that way.

What makes this property unique

The home is located in Sala Comacina, an idyllic village providing the perfect base for rest and recuperation. The residence is brand new, completed in 2017, offering a spacious and modern with quality fixtures and fittings at every time. Guests love the indoor pool and spa facility. Then there is THAT view. It is little wonder we received so many requests to return. Outside there is a real local feel to the village. Meandering cobbled paths, a mini market local produce and seasonal ingredients, a wonderful lido to take in the sun and lake to dive into! Sala is home to one of our favourite wine wine bars and restaurants where you can dine directly overlooking the famous island of Comacina or wine and dine on the island itself. There is a ferry and bus service from the village plus boat hire available for the more adventurous. Last but not least the annual firework display takes place on the island directly infant of the home every June, just another reason to book your lakeside table with us!

In short we offer more then letting our holiday home. We offer a unique insight into living like a local here on the lake to ensure you get the very most from your stay from the minute you arrive ensuring an unforgettable and personal experience.
