Located in a quiet neighborhood in a narrow part of Anna Maria Island. Being just 60 steps away from a wide and never crowded beach makes it easy to take numerous beach trips throughout the day. The free island trolley is close-by when you want to explore the island and don't feel like driving. An amazing Spa is literally a few houses away.

The house comfortably sleeps four. It has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and a closet. The living room area offers a smart TV with NetFlix. A fast internet at 30Mb/s is available throughout the house.

The house is clean, comfortable and well maintained. It has all that you need for a relaxing stay.

Stayed here for 3 days and we love the place ! It was clean and equipped with everything you need! The location is great -3 min walk ti the beach to see sunsets and 2 min to bay for sunrises! Will definitely stay her again!

This was a perfect rental for myself, my husband and our two very small dogs. Very close to the beach, but far enough from the main road/traffic. Yes, it's 60 steps to the beach for beautiful sunsets! The grill was great for our Christmas dinner. All items in the kitchen were useful. Fenced in patio was used daily for lounging and we ate all meals on the patio as well.

Our favorite place to stay on the west coast

This was our second time at the “turtle house”. And it won’t be our last. The house is the perfect beach house. Just steps from the gulf and white sands. The accommodations are great and are minutes from great restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend staying here. Also easy to get in touch with the owners if needed!

Great little get away

What a cute little house. Pictures were true to it. Short walk to the beach. Easy drive to north and south ends of the island yet the free shuttle is also available. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The location is perfect! Steps away from the beach with lots of restaurants around. The check in process was very smooth. Upon arrival the condo was clean and stocked with anything that we would need. Alex was super responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely be back to Anna Maria Island and be sure to recommend this condo to anyone headed here!

Great location

The location is very convenient, close to the beach and grocery store. We loved that there was a travel crib and high chair to use for our stay as well. The only complaint I had was the maintenance man, in the other unit next to us, was very loud every morning of our trip (pressure washing, leaf blowing, yard repairs) and it did wake our child. All in all, it was a nice trip and property!

some what disappointed about the way things were not clean had to wipe out the refrigerator the washer soap dispenser was not clean the stopper in the sink in the bathroom sink did not work there was water leaking out side under the table was stinking no one would not stay there again

About once a year, we get guests like this. They're generally not happy people and tend to focus their overwhelming negativity on small things - like "the washer’s soap dispenser wasn’t clean." Instead of simply asking the host to take care of it, they stew in it. Unfortunately, there’s no easy fix for that kind of outlook. Well… maybe washing the soap dispenser with more soap might help? Hopefully, a little time on the beach brightened their day - if only slightly.

Great communication with the owner and great location.

The communication with the owner was very good! he will reply to you right away and sort everything quickly. I would like to suggest upgrading mattresses and kitchen sink at least. We enjoyed our time there, in particular the location which is very close to the beach. Enrique and Elena.

Did not stay because host cancelled at the last minute due to failed air conditioning. VRBO helped us find new accommodations.

Dolores was offered a full refund and an alternate acommodations right away. Initially she was offered a late check-in (and an inconvenience refund) in order to give a time to our AC guys, who worked super hard and overtime on the hot attic for a whole day to finish a necessary repair. She unfortunatelly went into "Let me talk to your manager" mode and cancelled her stay herself. So it was not a "Host Cancelled" situation at all. We are family run business and do whatever necessary to take a good care of our guests.

Perfect location and accommodation!

My family and I stayed at Happy Turtle (B) for a week and we really had a wonderful time. The location was perfect for us and the house as well. The walk to the beach is very very short which is one of the most important things for us, we enjoyed it everyday during the day, afternoon or evening. And everything else including dinning out, shopping, groceries, etc. is also very very close using a golf cart or car or bike or even walking if you like to walk. I cannot say enough good things about the owner with whom we were able to communicate for anything we needed at any moment that was necessary, thank you Alex so much. My family and I recommend it and we would definitely stay here again in future vacations. Very thankful for this time my family and I enjoyed together at the beach that we love so much!

Perfect location

This property has a perfect location. One block from beach access and had a parking spot at the beach access every day. We were minutes to the beach. It may not have been on the beach but it was almost as good. Due to the location we would stay at this property again. The one thing that would have made this stay better is if there was an area outside the duplex that was shaded and safe from rain. The privacy fenced in area was only able to be used early in the morning and later in the evening due to no shade. Also, it rained our first day there and we had to sit inside because there was no covered area outside. Those are the only two reasons that I rate this a 4 instead of a 5. We had a wonderful time during our stay.

Comfortable house, one block from beach

A no frills house in a quiet neighborhood, one block from a beautiful beach that was never crowded. Gorgeous sunsets! One mile and a quick trolley ride to Bridge St restaurants and shopping. The nest air conditioning was an inconvenience as the house was very warm after being gone all day. By our last day there we were used to it. We were very thankful for the ceiling fans in the bedrooms for sleeping at night. . Things we loved about this house: the quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, one block from a quiet, beautiful beach, comfortable beds. Things we wished we had: a cooler for the beach, more efficient a/c, a new shower liner, better shades in the north bedroom to keep out the porch light which stays on all night. With a few little touches, this property is definitely one we would return to over and over again!

Overall clean and quiet. Could use some maintenance - towel bars in bathroom broken. Couldn’t find a measuring cup or spoons. Thank goodness for the beach items left behind by other guests. The wagon was a lifesaver. We brought our own cooler.
