Lovely villa in a pretty and quiet location
This villa lived up fully to expectations. If anything the photos didn't do it justice as the pool area and terrace areas are bigger than the pictures suggest.
Outside there are lots of well looked after plants and bushes which really add to the nice feel. these are looked after by a gardener who also looks after the pool twice a week so it was spotless and crystal clear.
The terrace outside the living area is perfect for eating and relaxing and there is another covered terrace with outdoor sofas next to the pool. Outside you are not overlooked and there is always plenty of shade and lots of outdoor furniture to relax on.
Inside is mostly marble floors which gives a luxurious feel and air conditioning in every room so easy to keep cool if you want to eg at night.
The kitchen was well equipped with lots of pots and pans and crockery although a bit small as was the dishwasher. The TV has basic free UK channels except channel 5.
The bedrooms were roomy but one of the rooms has two fold out bed settees which aren't particularly comfy but OK for kids.
If I was to be critical then there were one or two bits of maintenance that needed attending to and some decor that would benefit from a facelift but really all pretty minor.
The location is very quiet, minimal road or neighbor noise other than hotel music in the distance. It was a bit further from the beach and town than we expected and the steep hills mean you would need to be reasonably fit walkers however there is a bus stop very close if you don't have a car. There is a SuperSol supermarket nearby for everything you would need.
Burriana beach at the bottom of the hill has a good selection of bars and restaurants but it is well worth going into the centre of Nerja proper which has a vast array of choices and is very pretty and atmospheric with lots of old streets with every kind of shop, bar and restaurant.
We noticed that prices in Nerja were significantly cheaper than the area near Marbella where we stayed last year.
In summary a very nice villa in a very nice location and certainly somewhere we would come again to.
