Querce Apartment- Bike Friendly with garage in Lanciano.

The 116-square-metre (+ a 67-square- metre terrace) 3-bedroom Apartment Querce (next to Apartment Sole) is sunny, spacious, fully furnished and well equipped to a high standard. It can accomodate up to 9 guests. There is Fiber 1000 WiFi for smart workers, air-con and hydrotherapy bath. A large terrace, where you can enjoy your meals and evening drinks, surrounds the apartment .
A garage can be offered on demand, if available, but there are however free parking places in the 3000 square metre common area with flowerbeds and a fountain.
There are no architectural barriers because there is a lift both from the garage and from the ground floor to the apartment.
All shops are only a few minutes walk and at a walking distance is also the historic centre of Lanciano, ancient town of art, music, traditions and fairs.
Apartment Querce is 10 min drive from the sea ( Costa dei Trabocchi and The Via Verde ). The Via Verde, a 42 km long cycle and pedestrian path on the Costa dei Trabocchi, runs along one of the most evocative stretches of the Adriatic a few meters from the sea immersed in the nature of the Costa dei Trabocchi.
Ski resorts & the mountains (Majella National Park) are 30 min drive.
There are many more other places of interest around including picturesque hilltop villages, Lago di Bomba and little touristic coastal villages and towns...
Lots of sports can be practised in the area (cycling, canoeing, rafting, trekking, horse riding, birdwatching, snorkeling, tennis, golf....).
In order to make your stay go smoothly and enjoyable the owner and her husband will be pleased to advise you about the best places to visit .
Lanciano is 35 min drive from Abruzzo International Airport in Pescara and 2 and a half hour from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports in Rome.
As the owner is a qualified teacher of Italian and English as foreign Languages(L2) and her husband is an architect and an excellent cook, Italian and English lessons, art lessons and cookery lessons can be arranged in the period October-May.

Beautiful appartment in lovely, friendly Abruzzo

Our trip to Italy in March / April 2014 had been a dream in the making for years. We decided, somewhat at random, to make Lanciano in beautiful Abruzzo our home for a full five weeks; to abandon the usual tourist routine of trudging from city to city, in a hurry to see "everything" and to settle down in one spot and try to really experience life in Italy. We were incredibly fortunate in our choice of Apartment Querce, and our host Francesca. The apartment is beautiful, large, lots of light and spacious, with easily enough room for a family, though my wife and I were the only sole guests on this occasion. Though Francesca was away from Lanciano during our stay, we were put in the very capable hands of the housekeeper, Carmela, who rescued us on our first day, when we were hopelessly lost, patiently listened and helped us with our fractured Italian, provided us with groceries when needed and was a real friend to us during our visit. We will always remember and appreciate her kindness. The apartment itself is very well appointed, with everything needed for an extended stay. the location is wonderful, a short 10 or 15 minute walk to the Centro Storico, close to shopping for food or other needs and only a 20 minute drive to the Adriatic Coast, and some of the bluest water one could ever see. We loved our time in Lanciano and are already planning a return trip. Being close to retirement age, we will be visiting again, we hope many times.

Comfortabel appartement in levendige plaats

We zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door Francesca en Diego in hun mooie appartement. Ook tijdens ons verblijf werd deze gastvrijheid voortgezet, bijv. door het reserveren van restaurant, het geven van tips voor bezienswaardigheden en voor de beste locaties voor het eten van taartjes. Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige minpuntje voor ons was de loopafstand naar het centrum, die wij toch wel op minimaal 20-25 minuten inschatten.

Soddisfatte!!

Siamo state una settimana presso l’appartamento Querce, un ambiente pulito ed accogliente, curato nei dettagli, fornito veramente di tutto. La struttura si trova in una comoda posizione, fuori dal traffico, pratica per raggiungere sia le spiagge che l'entroterra. Francesca e Diego sono persone deliziose, attente e sempre pronte ad aiutare e consigliare i loro ospiti.

our stay in Lanciano

Nice spacious apartment with a balcony around the whole apartment. About ten minutes walk from the centre of Lanciano. Quiet neighbourhood. Good starting point for walks in the national park and the coast. Francesca and Diego are very helpful, they give a lot of tips for visits in Lanciano and surroundings. We had a really nice stay in Lanciano!

Soggiorno molto piacevole a Lanciano

Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza molto piacevole, con base all'appartamento Querce, scoprendo le spiagge, e qualche montagna, dell'Abruzzo. L'appartamento è decisamente ampio, ben arredato e fornito di tutto il necessario. Anche Lanciano si è rivelata una piacevole scoperta. Torneremmo volentieri, se possibile.

Nous avons passé un extraordinaire séjour ! L'appartement est spacieux , moderne , bien équipée , calme et très propre ! Les propriétaires sont des gens d'une grande gentillesse , accueillants , chaleureux , diponibles et se soucient de votre bien être ! Très à l'écoute et toujours prêt à satisfaire vos demandes ! Alles wunderbar

Wir haben ein paar wunderbare Tage in Lanciano und Umgebung verbracht. Querce ist eine voll ausgestattete Wohnung die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, man fühlt sich einfach wohl dort. Die Gastgeber Francesca und Diego sind warmherzige, hilfsbereite Menschen. Ich glaube, ich habe bis jetzt noch keine freundlicheren Gastgeber getroffen. Herzlichen Dank! Lanciano ist ein hübsches Städtchen. Es gibt auch in der Umgebung viele lohnende Ausflugsziele. Besonders hat uns das Dorf Scanno gefallen. Auch der Nationalpark Gran Sasso ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Und uns hat das Meer besonders im Naturschutzgebiet Punta Arderci gefallen, dort ist es wild und es hat nicht viele Leute. Francesca und Diego geben gerne Ausflugstipps. Ich werde diese Wohnung und die Abruzzen unseren Freunden wärmstens empfehlen.

Just Like Home....

My parents & myself stayed in apartment Sole from September 1st to the 15th. The apartment is very spacious & very clean! We enjoyed the large wrap around balcony. My parents were born in a small town beside Lanciano & my mother has not been back to Italy since she was a very young girl. We decided to rent an apartment as we wanted comfort, space & privacy. WE got that and more at the apartment Sole, we were very happy with staying the 2 weeks in Lanciano. We are very familar with Lanciano as I have been about 8 times & my father returned 3 times. Lanciano is a wonderful historic town, with many great places to eat. The food in the region of Chieti is fabulous! I made the booking arangements with Francesca via e-mails & she was very helpful & sincere. Upon our arrival we met her husband Diego whom was very kind & informative. In case of anything during our stay he gave his mobile number, we didn't need to contact him during our stay as we had everything we needed. There are great shops in Lanciano, & near the apartment just below in the building next door is a fabulous wood oven pizzaria called Santa Maria. Amazing Pizza & very inespensive, there is also a bar next door with coffee & cornetti's. If you have a chance go around the corner to Rene's, fabulous cornetti & the best pastries ever! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is interesting in staying in Lanciano. It was an Excellent stay! Thank you Diego & Francesca! Grazie tanto per tutto! Family, Toronto Canada

"Beautiful apartment in lanciano"

"In the August 2010 we have spent 2 wonderful weeks in this apartment. It is super beautifully decorated and very clean and we felt very comfortable. It is very well equipped. We were 3 adults and 4 children, the apartment was ideal and big enough. We come for many years to lanciano there is a great city and there are beautiful beaches. I can definitely recommend this apartment we felt like at home. Also this year we spend our summer again in this apartment. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Superb apartment

We stayed in Francesca and Diego's apartment for 2 weeks in June 2011, the apartment was exceptional in every way, clean, modern , spacious and had everything we could have wished for. The provision of all of the essential and some non essential items was very thoughtful. We had not stayed in an apartment in Italy before and were suprised just how peaceful it was. It is accurately described on thev Holiday Rentals site. Good local shops are close by, butcher, baker, greengrocer and deli, and good restaurants and the historic town centre were a 15 minute stroll away. The nearby beaches and coastline are beautiful and the water is really clear. We visited many of the small villages on the coast and in the mountains, all of which were pretty and interesting and non touristy. All in all a wonderful apaertment in a beautiful, unspolied part of Italy.

Wonderful Apartment in a good location

We spent a wonderful week in September at this well equipped and clean apartment. Located in a residential part of town within easy walking distance of the town centre. There were numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from. We were lucky to be there at festival time, which made for lively evenings in the town square. The apartment itself had everything you need, it was very comfortable and we enjoyed relaxing on the outside terraces. There was a supermarket a couple of minutes walk away, also a cafe and pizza takeaway opposite the apartment which we could certainly recommend. Francesca was most helpful and this apartment was full of local information. Would definitely return there in the future.

Refurbished and delicate flat .

We ,a family of 6 from Norway,stayed in Lanciano one hot week in july 2010 The flat was cool because it was well equipped with air-con, and the large terrace surrounding the hole flat made it possible to eat outside though it was hot. The flat had TV in each room,which was very popular for the youths (age 15-20).The charming medieval centre of Lanciano was a nice stroll away and the young ones used the bicycles. We visited some nice beaches along Costa de Trabocchi 15-20 min drive away. This part of Italy has not so many foreign tourists, so the beaches were clean and not crowded.The owners were very helpfull and the flat had å lot of local maps,books and brochures.For us it was to hot for sightseeing, but the location must be perfect for visiting the aera in spring and autum.
