St Columb's Presbytery and the Coach House were built for the Parish Priest of Inistioge in the 1870's.The Coach house is located on the owners' grounds of approximately 3 acres. The landscaped grounds comprise of a water garden, lawns, and a rustic gazebo set in an elevated position overlooking the River Nore. The property is located about 1/2 Km from the village of Inistioge and within easy walking distance.
The Coach House comprises of a combined kitchen/dining/living area with a wood stove, and 2 bedrooms. The ground floor bedroom comprises of 1 king size bed with an an en-suite bathroom. The 1st floor bedroom has 1 single and a king size bed bed with a shower room with WC adjacent to it. There is oil fired central heating with radiators throughout the property. The accommodation can sleep up to 5 persons comfortably and a child's cot and high chair are available on request

This was our favorite part of the whole trip. The cottage was even better than we expected, the hosts were kind and helpful and it was so quiet. The kids walked the Woodford Loop to the waterfall and said it was beautiful and well worth the walk. If you have a chance, stop in at The Otter Bar.

Our stay with Mark and Maggie was a great beginning of our trip to Ireland. Their coach house is like out of a fairytale, beautifully decorated and comfortably outfitted. We cannot wait to visit again.

Margaret and Mark's cottage house in the country is spectacular. Old world charm with modern updates. Quiet, accommodating and the most comfortable beds we have slept on in a very long time. The individual mattress heating pads make your sleep so relaxing. This place is five star all the way. If you can rent it - do it! Nice and central to lots of attractions.

The accommodation was nice and quirky however there was a lot of of dust and cobwebs that maybe because the building was stone. I am an asthma sufferer and sometimes found it difficult at night to breathe.

Hi Lisa, My apologies for your less than positive experience in my Coach House, and thank you for pointing out the cobwebs. I will make sure in future that we are more thorough with the hovering and I will install some essential oil diffusers which should deter any spiders.

Beautifully restored coach house in great location

Friendly knowledgeable hosts, excellent house in a quiet village near the great historic sites and hikes of the area. If you are looking for a place in the Irish countryside to unwind that’s still close to everything, this home in Inistioge is a great choice.

Wonderful experience

Margaret was a wonderful host and this property was just what we were looking for during our travels. It was cozy, we loved the town, and we could drive to cities for the day. Great experience overall, would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location!

What a beautiful place, lovely homeowners (Maggie and Mark), and peaceful stay! The home itself has everything you need-well equipped…not to mention the plethora of books to read! This was convenient as a pivot point to other site seeing options and nice enough to want to stay in. Thank you for sharing your beautiful oasis!!!
