This charming cottage sleeps up to four people comfortably. It has two bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and full kitchen. The most impressive aspect of the house is its location which enjoys panoramic views overlooking the mountainous valley, visually distinct with its olive trees on terraces, orange and almond trees, among others. The property also has a garden and a small terrace with a barbecue and a wood oven.
Nature surrounds the house, therefore promotes a detached and restorative stay. It is not your typical beach destination for southern Spain; The sensory experience of the location, with the smell of wild rosemary, pines and almond trees mixed with the vitality of the orange trees (especially in late winter-early spring for the last two) makes this a truly lovely stay. Ideal for nature lovers, for writing, drawing, painting, hiking, or just to get away. As a Technician in Conducting Physical-Sports Activities in the Natural Environment, I will be happy to organize excursions on foot of the surrounding region to teach you about the local flora and fauna, if it is of your interest.

Great Place to Stay

lovely house, very clean and well maintained and a great location with wonderful views of the surrounding valley. Jose is very helpful and friendly and on hand should there be any problems. All in all, if you are looking for a quiet, away from it all holiday then La Tesorillo should fit the bill

Fantastisk udsigt, perfekt hus og omgivelser til afslapning med familien. Venlig udlejer som kun snakker spansk (forståelig engelsk på skrift) Pæn og rent inde i huset, dog er det svært at tage et ordenligt bad, Da vandtrykket er meget svagt eller helt forsvinder i længere perioder. Vejen op til huset er meget snoet og stejl, dog gik det fint i vores VW golf. Langt til ordentlig indkøb, så køb ind på vejen til huset. Det er tænkeligt at vi besøget dette sted igen 😃

Først og fremmest, tak for dine komplimenter, føler jeg problemet med vandtryk, jeg forsøger at løse det med et mere effektivt tryksystem. På den anden side er vejen lidt stejl, da hele byen er sådan, men jeg er meget glad for at du har nydt de værelser og udsigter, der tilbydes af huset. Tak for alt og se dig snart, José

Schönes Ferienhaus und netter Gastgeber

Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt mitten im Tal auf einer Hügelspitze und ist umgeben von den größeren Bergen des Tales, ein schöner Anblick. In unregelmäßigen Abständen sind noch weitere Anwesen im Tal verstreut. Der Vermieter, Herr José Juan Arellano Aguado und auch sein Vater, ist sehr nett, wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Unseren Wunsch nach Feuerholz haben sie prompt erfüllt. Schön fanden wir auch, daß Herr Arellano Aguado nicht nur theoretisch per SMS erreichbar ist, sondern diese tatsächlich auch öfter abfragt und schnell darauf reagiert. Als wir Probleme mit unserem Mietauto hatten, konnten wir das gut gebrauchen. Nun mehr zum Haus. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Für 4 Leute ist der Platz auch reichlich. Es gibt in beiden Etagen einen großen, gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraum, der jeweils in die Küchenzeile übergeht. Beide Räume haben reichlich Platz für vier Personen, man könnte sogar tanzen. Der Garten hinter dem Haus bietet viele Stellen zum Ruhen, Essen und Aussicht genießen. Wasser ist in dieser Gegend natürlich immer eine besondere Sache. Das Haus hat zwei Bäder, aber ob bzw. wie tatsächlich zwei Leute gleichzeitig duschen können, kann ich nicht sagen, wir haben es nie ausprobiert. Der Wasserdruck ist jedenfalls recht gering. Wenn vier Leute hintereinander warm duschen wollen, sollten sie mit dem Wasser etwas bewußter umgehen. Alternativ kann man zwischen den Duschgängen ca, eine halbe Stunde warten bis die Boiler sich wieder aufgeheizt haben. Ein großes Plus gibt es für die Trinkwasserversorgung! In der unteren Küche gibt es neben dem Spülwasserhahn einen Extrahahn für Trinkwasser. Herr José Juan Arellano Aguado hat dort mehrere Filter eingebaut und das Wasser auch zertifizieren lassen. Ein Tip für den Mietwagenkauf. Die Anfahrt zum Haus, ich meine das letzte Stück, von Guajar Alto Hauptstraße bis zum Ferienhaus, ist etwas anstrengend, ich weiß nicht, wie ich es besser ausdrücken soll, das ist ja auch Geschmacksache. Jedenfalls ist sie teils sehr steil, mit Spitzkehren, Spurrinnen und schmal. Wir hatten einen BMW X1 als Mietwagen, mit dem ging die Strecke recht gut. Bei den Spurrinnen und den steilen Spitzkehren mußte ich trotzdem gut aufpassen. Mit einem VW Golf oder Ähnlichem hätte ich da nicht langfahren mögen - es geht wahrscheinlich, wird aber eben noch anstrengender. Die Einheimischen habe ich da fast nur Geländewagen fahren sehen.

Just beautiful

The photos of the property do not do the views and location justice, it is simply quite stunning, peaceful and totally unspoiled. Beautiful walks from the front door just further re-inforce the idyllic nature of El Tesorillo. The house itself is very well equipped, and with more than terrace, and a balcony, the choice of which panorama to look at is a difficult one! Of course, these views are afforded by being on top of a steep hill, which is the word of warning: a 4x4 would be useful, although our hired Fiat Panda coped admirably..just be brave! This is one of the very places that we have stayed that we wish to return to, thank you José.
