Clean property, comfortable. Fantastic view from small balcony. A/C unit works well. Access to beach is challenging, steep and uneven. No beach chairs or umbrellas. Property not far from city center, with shopping and restaurants. Ask for unit number when you arrive for efficient check-in.

The apartment is a great value. Very functional with a perfect location, offering a breathtaking view from the terrace on the sea bay, just a few minutes’ walk from a secluded beach, not crowded at all even in the top season. The place is very clean and equipped with everything one may need during the stay. It is run by fantastic, cordial and helpful hosts, Antonio and his son Fabrizio. It can be recommended to families like us or small groups. We will return again for sure.

This apartment is a little Gem, the owners are very nice people and very helpful. We especially loved the sea view from the balcony and the very close location to a great little beach, we really enjoyed swimming and snorkelling here. The apartment was very comfortable and a great base to visit lots of lovely locations. We really loved it!

Cute Apartment, Amazing View

The booking and check in process were easy. Our host, Antonio, met us at the apartment even though we were delayed for several hours. The location is in Baia del Carpino, with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Because we stayed off-season, some shops and restaurants in the area were closed, but everything you need is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay.

MOZZAFIATO/BREATHTAKING

I truly cannot express in words the genuine hospitality that Antonio and his family extended to us new Turista Americano. My wife and I that is. So, the next guest can have a unique experience as we did, I won’t reveal all and spoil it for you. However, it was our very first time in Scalea, Calabria as well as Italy. Although this is a VRBO our experience was not one of a business transaction. Antonio treated us as guest in his home and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable for the 8 days we spent there. For those shy trying to communicate in Italian, he will make sure it's not a problem. If you want a true Neapolitan Margherita “pizza” in Scalea he can tell you the place. Beautiful historic sites, he can direct you to that too.Casa Marea – The apartment was exceptionally clean, also were the linens and towels. The washing machine perfecto! Both bathrooms functioned perfectly. Every appliance we felt we needed served our needs. The balcony view! That peaceful, serene view alone would have been enough if that’s all we had but of course it wasn’t. The support from Antonio and his family as well as the comfort of the apartment are worth much, much more than the small amount to rent it. Hopefully we were good guest as well! Thank you again, Antionio, Paola, and Fabrizio. This will not be our last visit to you. We will return. Your hospitably and guidance is one of the main highlights of our trip to Italy. Vielen lieben Dank Antonio für deine Gastfreundschaft,wir hatten sehr schöne und erholsame Tage bei dir und deiner Familie.Die Ferienwohnung entspricht exakt der Anzeige und hat alle notwendigen Dinge die man als Familie mit Kindern benötigt.Der Komfort ist sehr gut ind die Lage mit dem Ausblick einfach nur traumhaft.Der Weg zum Strand ist zwar ein wenig anstrengend mit Kindern aber alle Male Wert.Der Strandabschnitt ist sauber, nicht überfüllt und mit seinem klaren Wasser ein echter Geheimtipp.Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Siamo stati in questa struttura in luglio. Casa con ottimo panorama sul mare, buona posizione. È assolutamente consigliata auto, per spesa e visita altre spiagge. Padroni di casa ospitali e gentili. Solo una cosa per cui contasse esclusivamente sul Wi-Fi: il segnale non è in casa ed è debole. Buona cosa la cucina a induzione. Consiglio la struttura anche per periodi più lunghi. Buone vacanze .

Schöne Wohnung in sagenhafter Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Kleine Einschränkung: einer meiner Söhne musste auf einem nicht sehr bequemen Klappbett schlafen, das bei jeder Bewegung gequietscht hat. Der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer ist unschlagbar. Mit einem kleinen Abstieg ist die wunderschöne Bucht gut erreichbar. Dort gibt es außerdem eine sehr schöne Bar mit gutem Essen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns mit Süßigkeiten verwöhnt. Der Ort Scalea ist äußerst touristisch, es gibt aber gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Fazit: Die Wohnung eignet sich bestens für eine Familie für eine Badewoche an wunderschönen Stränden und als Ausgangspunkt für einen Besuch einiger sehr netter Örtchen im Hinterland.

Ich möchte nur eines klarstellen: Bei dem von Ihnen genannten Kinderbett handelt es sich um ein Beistellbett, also um ein sechstes Bett. Als Betten stehen zur Verfügung: das Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer, das Doppelschlafsofa und das Einzelbett im Schlafzimmer, also insgesamt fünf Betten. Man konnte problemlos das Schlafsofa nutzen, was sicherlich bequemer war. Auf jeden Fall hatten Sie Recht, es hervorzuheben, damit ich es berücksichtigen werde. Ich hoffe, Sie auch in Zukunft wieder als unsere Gäste begrüßen zu dürfen. herzlich Antonio

Bellissimo appartamento Baia del Carpino

Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane nell' appartamento vista mare sulla baia del Carpino. La cortesia e la gentilezza del padrone di casa sono stati davvero eccezionali, sempre pronto a soddisfare eventuali esigenze e condividere mete turistiche.Siamo rimasti subito sorpresi dalla bellissima vista dal balcone. Ogni sera uno spettacolo unico! L'appartamento è super pulito con un posto auto. Il mare è raggiungibile con un sentiero di circa 10 minuti. La cala è spettacolare con tante varietà di pesci, poco affollata anche in alta stagione. Belle le cittadine di Diamante e Praia. Speriamo di riuscire a tornare presto! I In breve, ci piacerebbe tornare tornarenuovo.

Vacanza Baia del Carpino

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questo delizioso appartamento ,provvisto di terrazzo con vista bellissima sulla Baia del Carpino da dove assistere a dei meravigliosi tramonti l.La spiaggia sottostante l'appartamento dista circa 500 metri un po' impegnativa ma quando si arriva giù alla Baia del Carpino si viene ripagati da questa spiaggia meravigliosa .La casa è in un punto strategico per visitare tutte le spiagge circostanti da San Nicola Arcella a Praia a Mare ,Maratea ,a Scalea , Belvedere ,Diamante ecc. Un grazie enorme al Signor Antonio e sua moglie Paola persone gentilissime e sempre a disposizione per qualsiasi cosa Speriamo di tornare al più presto Consigliatissimo

Siamo stati in questa casa per due settimane, silenziosa e con una vista stupenda sulla baia, abbiamo trovato tutto quello che poteva esserci utile e tutto perfettamente funzionale con un arredamento accogliente. Dall appartamento si gode di un panorama mozzafiato,praticamente ti alzi e vai a dormire con il mare,con questa vista , stai già in paradiso...L 'appartamento e' spazioso,pulito e arredato con gusto situato in un residence ben tenuto e con accesso alla spendita spiaggia della Baia del Carpino. I proprietari sono cordiali e disponibili La riviera dei cedri e' stata una sorpresa non pensavamo di passare una vacanza completa tra mare, montagna fiumi , paesaggi naturali mozzafiato e così ricca di storia vacanze da rifare
