We have stayed in these accommodations multiple times when we visit Charlevoix. They are very comfortable and the downtown Charlevoix location cannot be beat. Would highly recommend. The owner of the property, Joan Funk, is very attentive to questions or concerns. We will certainly stay there again.

The Marina Suite was perfect for my relaxation getaway! It was everything I wanted- and I can’t wait to visit again. The property is in the perfect location, was clean and comfy. Would highly recommend.

Great location and dog friendly

This is probably our 4th time staying at Marina Suite. We love the location and the fact that it is dog friendly. I would give our stay a 5 if it weren't for the infestation of fruit flies. Joan responded very quickly with fruit fly traps, but we still had to deal with them for our entire stay.

Location was prime, space was well appointed. Units above us were relatively quiet. Parking was about a block away, which was fine, but not clear/correct in the listing on VRBO.

Home Away From Home...

We have spent several summer vacations staying in the Marina Suite. It feels like home away from home to my husband & I, as well as our standard poodle. The downtown location simply can't be beat. Shopping, beaches, restaurants, concerts in the park, glorious sunsets are all within walking distance. We highly recommend - and will certainly be back next summer!

Great location.

We loved the location of the marina suite. Joan is a great host. The condo is cute and has everything you need. View of the marina is beautiful as well. Master bed was comfortable and the pull out couch was also comfortable. There is a fair bit of noise from the surrounding businesses during the day, but that is the cost of being right downtown. Good tradeoff from our view and we would stay again.

Excellent Accommodations!

We love this condo! It is modern with comfortable amenities. This was our 3rd time staying at this condo while visiting Charlevoix, and we're coming back next year. It is truly a home away from home. The location is amazing with easy access to downtown Charlevoix & the Lake Michigan waterfront. We park our car upon arriving in town and then walk to everything. Joan Funk is a wonderful landlord who, like us, appreciates a comfortable home - and loves dogs!

Perfect location!

Our daughter was getting married at the Charlevoix Yacht club and we had a lot of boxes of decorations that had to be transported to the venue. We were on the ground floor so loading and unloading was very easy, the unit was very spacious so we weren’t crammed with all the extra boxes. The unit is tucked under a porch so there is not bright light streaming in which made it ideal for sleeping. We would definitely stay here again

Great location - Park is wonderful.

My wife and I and our dog Roxy loved the Marina suite. We spent many hours in the park which is right next to unit. We enjoyed the great views of all the action on Round lake and the marina from the patio. We also got take out a couple times and ate on the patio. The unit was nice and spacious and comfortable. Had a small issue with code to get in , but was handled quickly. The host Joan was available and helpful — top notch host ! Had a great week people watching, shopping and walking around town. This was the perfect spot for us. Reserved Parking spot was needed on weekend, it is a short walk across street.

A few years ago, I visited some friends who have a vacation home in Charlevoix, Michigan. I fell in love with the town and it's people. It was August and I was coming from the hot, humid, south which might have had something to do with it.

However, i've also been to Charlevoix in the middle of winter and still love it!

Why they chose this property

The view is terrific!

I've always wanted to live some place where I could walk to the restaurants, bars, beach, library, shops and movie theater. This is the place!

What makes this property unique

Other than the bedroom and bathroom, the suite is a large open inviting space. In time for the 2016 Season, I'll have replaced the leather sectional with a comfy sleeper sofa and two leather recliners. Its great to be able to set at the patio table and see the marina.
