Ok stay needs remodel

We stayed at this place and knew about the stairs but the house needs a remodel a lot of things are falling apart like the pocket doors they kept popping out of place and just seems a little dated on all fixtures. Nice house just could use more upkeep. Needed to be cleaner as one of the beds was dirty when.we got there as well as the hot tub. Could use some extra blankets not to far from beach which is nice.

Great beach house

This house is very spacious. Perfect for groups. There’s a mini fridge and microwave in each bedroom also which is nice. Has a great view. Beach access is about a block away.

Golf trip

Don’t stay here. Hot tub takes 3 days to heat up. 3 TVs didn’t work or the remote controls had no batteries. One bedroom had no power. 2 of the bathroom doors fell off the tracks. One of the buddies wives got stuck in the bathroom took 2 people to lift the pocket door back on. They have never used a duster at that place. For the money stay somewhere else. Motel 6 would be better. If you look at my reviews this is the only bad one I’ve ever done. Stay away from this place. Next door they have nicer rentals.

Harbor SeaShell House

We loved the space and the amount of bathrooms so no one had to wait or go very far. The house was clean and the amenities were great in terms of accessability. We appreciated the two car garage for our cars because the rain was really coming down. The house had great heat and was very cozy for the amount of kids we had there was enough space for a family of 10.

Nice but lots of stai

This is a nice place if you don’t mind stairs. The garage and game room are on the ground floor, bedrooms on the second and kitchen and living room are on the third floor so you will get plenty of exercise. It is well maintained for the most part. The dishwasher had some issues and the mattresses were only okay. For some reason there were no dish towels or at least, we didn’t find them. Each bedroom had a bathroom but only half had showers, instead having useless jetted tubs. The hot tub worked just fine and you did have a view of the ocean from the top floor. It does have a beautiful game room with a pool table and poker table but it is far removed from the living area (2 floors away). For the price we paid, we weren’t disappointed. The central Oregon coast is an expensive place to stay.

Great location! Lots of stairs.

This cute, roomy beach house is practically on the beach - wow! Just two short blocks and you're at the public access point - no need to find parking anywhere! My family enjoyed going to the beach, especially during low tide to check out the sea life in the tide pools on the rocks. Great location for walking into town and checking out the local shops on 101. My wife and I spent a few hours one afternoon visiting the shops. The top floor hot tub was fantastic in the evenings, soaking and enjoying the starry skies. Our kids (3 young adults) loved the fact that they each had their own "suite" with their own bathroom. We enjoyed the game room playing pool - so much space in this beach house! That space comes at a cost though, so be prepared to get your stairs in each and every day. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay here in Lincoln City.

Fantastic location!

Although it's across the street from the beach-front homes, this house has a GREAT view of the ocean from the upper floors. The place is clean and full of amenities. But, it is in need of a little TLC. For instance, we had some trouble with the bathroom pocket doors that were quick to get stuck, the ice-maker in the fridge gave out right away, and the patio furniture on the upper balcony has seen better days. Another important thing to know before booking is that there are A LOT of stairs. Prepare for a workout. If you're in decent shape, though, this a is a great place to stay. It's comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and it's an easy walk to the beach and to shops & restaurants.

Not returning to this property all it’s old I didn’t received what it offers though Vrbo.

Here we go.. a week before our stay in this beautiful property by outsid, I contacted the management if all complaints of reviews of 2024 had been fixed, they said yes, my surprise was that I had to deal with most of them, hot tub water not reaching over 100 degrees, room #1 where I stayed tub shower not working and when it is filled a leak will start coming out landing on top of the pool table on first floor, Tv screen it was locked in room #4. Vacation not full enjoyed if you stay here. Not owner’s foul I’m sure of that.

A few flaws

The house itself was nice, great location and view. Hot water didn’t work so no one could bathe/shower which is a problem when you have young children at the beach. Half of the TVs didn’t work and it was difficult to control the temperature to a comfortable spot. Overall it could definitely use some TLC and updating.

Amazing space!

We loved this place! It was a very quick and convenient walk to the beach! The view at the top (main level) was gorgeous! The hot tub was a fun blessing, as it kept us warm in the cool wind with a beautiful view! We loved that the rooms with their own bathrooms! 2:4 had a shower, the other 2 had Jacuzzi tubs. The game room at the bottom was great as we were able to laugh and play games after the kids were in bed and we weren't afraid of walking around and waking them up. The place is huge and was really clean. Although there was a fishy smell in the stairway near the kitchen, but that was probably due to the people there before us. The smell improved throughout the stay. The salt shaker was empty... so bring your own pantry items. The Vacasa customer service was very responsive to text messaging when i had questions.

Nice stay

It's a lovely house and it met most of our needs. The checkin was very frustrating because it took about 20 minutes to get the door lock to work. We never did figure out how it works, we were just lucky enough to make it work after many tries. Some helpful hints should be included with the check-in instructions. There should also be instructions for the fireplace. None of the bedroom tv's would connect with the wi-fi so they were unusable. The hot water was so hot as to be dangerous. Pots and pans need some updating. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it could have been better without these issues.

Not worth the money

We liked it was close to the beach, but all the beds were super squeaky. One move and you could hear it from another room. Going to the bathroom echoed so everyone could hear. Hot water ran out after 10 minutes. So no tub use. Lots of stairs. No ac and it was hot upstairs. Batteries dead in the remotes. And the door entry code wouldn’t work on 2 occasions we had to wait for a new code. And explain every time it didn’t work. It was frustrating standing outside wet, cold with 3 kids. It’s decent but over priced for sure.

Lots of stairs, no ac. It was really hot upstairs. Couple of the remotes batteries were dead. Hot water ran out after 10 minutes. Didn’t get to use the jacuzzi tubs. The entry code didn’t work when we arrived and also another time coming back. Had to wait 10 minutes to get another code. Beds were so squeaky, one little move and squeaked so loud. Going to the bathroom echoed. It was ok but not worth the price. From the upstairs you can see the ocean. You have to walk down a steep road or stairs. Best to drive to the ocean. Again not worth the price.

Don’t stay here!

This property was disgusting! The carpets smelled of mold & mildew, there were stains, and food and beverage matter on the rugs and furnishings throughout the house. The water heater went out constantly and there was a leak from a light fixture onto the pool table. I contacted Vacasa via email and was told a follow up would come after the local property management was reached, that was May 10th and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Save your money!

Good and Bad

The good: View was great! The Location was awesome! Plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Hot tub, pool table was fun. The Bad: When we arrived the hot tub was cold. Discovered that the breaker was off. Switched it on and eventually got warm the by the next afternoon, but since we were only there 3 nights, half of our stay was over before we could use the hot tub. The Ugly: The carpet was so dirty and stained that none of us walked in the house without our shoes on! The pool table was great but 41 stairs to get to the refrigerator and kitchen on the upper level. (But that is where the view was)

Very dirty like housekeeping was never there. Dead batteries in the tv remotes. No hot water...

We had to wash all of the bedding on every bed, they were covered in hair and food. That same long black hair was all over the house. Nothing was clean, as far as dust and debirs on surfaces and floor. They hot tub wasn’t hot, the hot water through the house was very inconsistent. I was pretty disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the house, especially for how much we paid for a weekend away. The home itself is really cool and we enjoyed the space after we cleaned the whole first day. However I would probably never returned based on all of the poor upkeep.

Inspect before enjoying!!

Overall, this home is beautiful! It has lot's of stairs (steep) and it is a workout (3 story home) which is no biggie but you do get tired. Might be an issue if you have babies. We would of enjoyed this home and given it 5 out 5 stars rating but with reserving a home that has a hot tub and does not work during your stay was part it! Another, thing is making sure your bedroom door is unlocked because if it gets locked from inside you are basically screwed because there are no keys for all the bedrooms on that second floor. Both these issues were supposedly addressed to be resolved after calling several times to Vacasa but no one ever came by to fix anything!! So, my lesson learned to others is check any home prior to enjoying and inspect things are properly working and immediately called!

Property overly hyped in the description

Location is fabulous. View from the top deck is wonderful. It's totally dialed in with great wi-fi and a tv in every room. Check-in and check-out process easy, although I've heard no word about my deposit and we checked out almost 2 weeks ago. Here's where the property description and the realities differ: 1) 4 bedrooms with queen beds and bathrooms. Kinda true. 4 bedrooms- 2 with queen beds, 2 with full beds. 2) 2 of the bedroom bathrooms had jacuzzi tubs with no shower. The tubs were useless because they had no hot water support -- hot water ran out with only a couple inches of water in the tub. 3) The beds are really crappy. Every one of us complained about how awful the beds were. Linens were poor quality. 4) The property is touted as a luxury home yet there are cords hanging all over the place, peeling paint, a lamp here that doesn't work, a fan there that doesn't work... 5) The kitchen is not well stocked. 6) The house is not corner clean. 7) The game room downstairs is super light on games. There was a pool table and a card table. It had a couple incomplete decks of cards, poker chips, and a backgammon/chess set up. It really seemed like an afterthought. There was a bathroom off the garage, but it was not stocked with linens or toiletries. There was no refrigerator down there (see the layout note below) 84 steep stairs to go up and back from the kitchen to grab snacks and beverages. 8) The biggest problem we had with the property is the layout of the house. If the layout was better described in the listing, we would not have chosen it. You enter the property on the garage level. Drag luggage up 21 stairs to level 2 where the 4 bedrooms are. Haul groceries up 21 additional stairs to level 3 where the living and kitchen area are. 42, count them, 42 steep stairs to get to the main space. I've never been disappointed with a vacation rental before this property. The fees more than doubled the nightly rate but for a "luxury" space with all the touted amenities, we were willing to splurge. We ended up so, so disappointed.

Desperately needs attention

While the house has potential it needs lots of help. To start off there were NO CLEANING supplies what so ever in the house. The kitchen is lacking in pots, pans and silverware. No extra blankets or pillows. Considering it offers a hot tub they really need to offer more than 2 towels in each bathroom.
