Carabel is part of Belhaven, a charming neighborhood of newly constructed, quality homes built by Oksenholt Construction Company that embody character, craftsmanship and splendor. You will fall in love with Belhaven’s traditional architecture and ocean views north to Cascade Head during your stay. Belhaven’s location in Roads End means the beach is minutes away down an easy walking trail. Its private street loop gives children freedom to ride bikes, play at Belhaven’s playground or shoot hoops at the Belhaven basketball court. Family beach trip

This was a beautiful, well appointed beach house. My only negative is that we arrived 15 minutes early but the lock on the door won’t work until exactly 4pm. After a long drive we needed the restroom but had to wait longer… would be nice if there was a little buffer in that

Fun for friends gathering

A group of friends stayed here over a weekend. Kitchen was easy to use and be able to stay in earshot of conversations. Bathrooms connected to the bedrooms were nice to have. The walk to the beach was short, and the hot tub in the rain felt great! The house was clean and the check in process super easy. Living room could use more seating or floor pillows so people don’t have to squish together. Decking on lower deck starting to rot. Some wear on floorboards and walls.

Nice house with plenty of room.

Everything was great at the home and it was very clean. Located close to the beach, had a view of the ocean, and near shopping in Lincoln City.

Girls Bday Get Away

The location of house was great. Very nice neighborhood. All 8 of us girls had a place to sleep and all the bathrooms helped. We walked to the casino and also took a short drive to the beach.

Perfect for a family gathering

We enjoyed our long weekend with our family at this property. It was clean and well equipped. It was perfect for the 6 of us and our bulldog. Loved the hot tub and short walk to the beach.

Nice place to stay

It was perfect for my family. All the other houses in the area this size were at least double the price if not triple. It was clean well equipped kitchen clean hot tub and very easy to book. Thank you!

Great place to stay

It was a great place to stay. Close to the beach, Safeway and food. There are a few things that need some fixing (bathroom toilet paper holder in master bathroom broken, door knob on pantry broken, washer smells moldy, the house could use dusting on high areas of the walls and the upstairs starts at perfect temperature, but the downstairs was pretty cold). The hot tub was a huge plus!

Weekend Getaway

We overall enjoyed our stay. Some things that we noticed were that the wifi didn't work well, water pressure was low, there was damage to the towel holder in the master bath, the handheld shower head in the master bath tub had zero pressure and made it unusable. The space is great, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the views were beautiful and the short walk to the beach was great.

Great location. Lovely neighborhood.

We enjoyed a few days at the house. The house has a bit of a strange layout - and the deck is not as large as it appeared in the photos - also all of the patio furniture was broken or rotten. But - all in all a lovely home.

Great place in Lincoln City

Worked for our family of 8 (mainly adults). Good location. Clean. Had everything we needed. One issue. The listing had it as 4 bathrooms but in reality it is 3 full baths and 2 1/2 baths (to make four). Not a big issue but we had planned on 4 baths. Everything else was great!

Extended weekend with family and friends.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely weekend. The house worked well for our needs. There were a few minor issues that we worked through. We found it a bit difficult to heat the lower level and not boil anyone one the upper level. We usually kept a door open upstairs to even everything out. We did not make use of the little space in the detached garage due to the slightly funky smell and no readily accessible bathroom, except the one in the main house, upstairs. Out of the 4 rooms, the mattresses could use to be replaced in 3 of them. Lastly, there were no spices aside from pepper and a small amount of salt. Luckily, I brought, and bought, a few basics: olive oil and cinnamon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great pick, nice layout for large group. House is newer but is starting to show some wear, especially in the kitchen. The faucet in the kitchen has issues and the finishes are a bit worn. The tv in the living room is very small for a group to watch movies. The beds were comfy and nice sheets, bathrooms were clean and very nice. House was spotless. Had to get extra supplies live garbage bags, dish soap, tp etc because they only provided enough for one or two days and we were there a week. The smoke detectors kept beeping the whole visit, they came out and replaced all the batteries but they would just intermittently beep at random times. Hot tub did not smell clean and needed to be serviced.

Could Have Been a Contender

A partial list of short comings with this property: An oven door failing to close thus with faulty temperatures. Poor water pressure in shower (rinsing shampoo impossible) No place to hang towels near shower in master bath Left sided sink in master clogged and doesn't drain not a box of tissues in the entire home near empty diluted soap dispenser at kitchen sink shortage of soap bars for all baths no cleaning supplies to scour cooking pans or surface tops of tables. Outdoor grill never reached temperatures greater than 300 degrees.......add that to a faulty oven in the kitchen made cooking total guesswork/ All of these deficiencies resulted in multiple trips to the store and added expense . This property needs a thorough review by management to bring it up to average expectations for a family stay at the beach.

Beautiful Home/Awful beds and couches

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Huge Negative: This home is very nice and was also clean. However, unless the beds and seating are replaced we would never return. For the quality of house this is and as much as it cost to rent, the beds and couches are EXTREMELY sub par! One in our group had to fold up a blanket to place in the dip in her bed just to try to make a flat surface to lay on. There were 6 in our group and I think only one of us had a decent sleep. The reviews said the beds where bad but we thought maybe they were just too hard or soft. Not the case. You can see the dips in the mattresses before you even get in bed. The actual bedding and bedroom furniture was fine. The couches were clean but also very unsupportive and worn out. It baffles me as to why the owner wouldn't replace these few things because the house is beautiful. Positives: Great hot tub, linens, kitchen well stocked, good location, ample parking for 4 cars, nice view from upstairs.
