Great family retreat with lots of space inside and out. Very quiet neighborhood and not too far from amenities. Well stocked and very comfortable cabin. Very relaxing atmosphere that instills calmness and allows you to forget the rest of the world. My wife and I were there with our kids in their 20s and 30s and everyone enjoyed the time there and hope to be back. Thanks much to the hosts for creating such a great place!
This was an excellent home for our multigenerational family lake trip. Space is beautiful and comfortable. Owner was so accessible and nice and so helpful-went above and beyond to help us! He also Let us pick and eat his amazing fresh tomatoes. The back and front of the property were both beautiful. I highly recommend a boat rental for the entire stay because of the breeze and current. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
This lake home had everything we needed for our family’s trip. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the main floor has space for all to lounge and relax. Our favorite space was the porch for morning coffee or to play games at night. You cannot go wrong with this place!
We had a big golf group and this house was perfect for our large group. Water on both sides of the property, great lawn for yard games and 2 fire pits are just a few of the things we loved about this lake house. Communication was great with the owner and we hope to stay again!
We loved this place and owner was super helpful and easy to communicate with. The lake front both out back and in front was awesome. The kitchen was well appointed with cooking gadgets, cookware etc. comfortable beds and great layout for our extended family. Incredible sunset views. The great room and screened porch were well utilized. We will be back next year!
This home was perfect for our annual family lake vacation on the Whitefish chain. Having a different lake view on each side of the property was a plus. The house had fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The decor gave a home like feel and we really enjoyed the sitting areas in the front and back of the house. The breeze coming through the open windows was also really great. We are hoping to return again next summer!
Our entire family of 12, including 8 adults and 4 children really enjoyed the house and all the amenities. The cabin by the water was a special treat. We enjoyed the outdoor games and water toys. The back screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out. We would have liked less weeds in front, but the cove was a great place to tube and ski.
The location of this home is unbelievably beautiful and convenient for water activities on all the connecting lakes, and also trips to town. The home sits on top of the hill with sunrise and sunset views, short drives to both towns of Pequot Lakes and Crosslake.
Our family from toddler to oldies loved the large outdoor spaces, screened area of both dining and lounging, plus all the perfectly appointed indoor spaces. The kitchen handles several cooks easily.
Thank you Lisa for sharing this beautiful and sophisticated Retreat!

Extended family trip. Perfect space for 3 couples, 2 add't adults and 3 kids. Separate Guest Cabin was nice to have extra space. We used most of the water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, floats) and enjoyed our time in the water, and on the dock fishing. Unique location on a point between Lower & Upper Whitefish Lakes - can take in both sunrise and sunset over water, and larger lake to the north, or quiet cove to the south.
The location of the property CANNOT be beat! A perfect family getaway with sunrise coffee area looking out the front in the morning followed by sunrise in screened in porch with the cool breeze in the evening.
Best stocked property I’ve ever stayed at - towels, soap, hair dryers, shampoo, dog towels, the list is endless.
Lisa was always super prompt to respond & a pleasure to deal with. An unforgettable week in Minnesota!!
We would definitely stay here again. The lake home is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and well appointed with all of the essentials, from cooking ingredients to all kinds of water toys. The only downside to this property is that it isn't really swimmable around its dock area, but there are plenty of sandy areas at nearby islands!
We really had a great time here. I would highly recommend. The cabin is beautiful with great spaces for everyone. The screened in porch is definitely a highlight. It has lots of bathrooms and an amazing kitchen. The only downside to this property is the swimming areas. The weeds are thick and make swimming nearly impossible on the bay side of the lake. The other side of the property has somewhat cleaner water in the shallowest areas, but once you get to 3 feet of water the weeds are heavy.
Lisa the property manager was fantastic and a pleasure to work with. I brought my own boat and there is a great slip in the dock to tie up to. We had a fantastic vacation and have no regrets.
Communication couldn’t have been better, Lisa was always available, answered our questions and was willing to send photos. The property is more than the photos say! The guest cabin was so cute and worked perfect for our family. This place has everything, I highly recommend checking with Lisa before packing. Our evenings consisted of conversation in the 3 season porch and around the table playing games, also included. Only suggestion I have: letting renters know about the lake. We did explore the lake but knowing where gas is available or a restaurant might be nice. The docks are clean, they have every boat toy one could imagine and the property allows for so much outdoor family time. Absolutely amazing and we will be back!
Starting with the amazing location, gorgeous lake on both sides, and continuing on with the countless thoughtful, tasteful and creative touches by the owner, we spent a glorious week celebrating a family birthday in this idyllic place with absolutely no road noise, only loons, ducks, eagles and heron. This home has the best equipped kitchen imaginable along with a huge assortment of games, water toys, kayaks (3), paddle boards (2), and fishing gear---all in tip top shape and ready to enjoy. We rented a pontoon boat (Bertha's nearby) for a couple days and parked it at the dock. And, the owner told us about a local caterer who prepared simply wonderful dinners, freeing us to enjoy much more family time. This was clearly and away the best VRBO experience ever!
This house was a perfect winter getaway for our family. It's right on a point with lake on both sides, so I'm sure it is even more fun in the summer. Everything was clean and neat and we were all very comfortable there.
Excellent lake property and well equipped. Over the weekend we had friends come up - plenty of space for four couples(or more). And the screened porch is a highlight! Would love to rent again next year.
We had such a great stay at Lisa’s home! We traveled with 3 families with middle schoolers and high schoolers. We loved the location, the lake views out the front and the back, the amazing sunsets, the water toys and life jackets, towels, robes in each bedroom, stocked kitchen, plenty of supplies such as paper towels, baggies, foil etc... the list goes on and on. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings. We made bonfires several nights and appreciated the stacked firewood. The beds and linens were all great. We rented a pontoon and was able to use the dock. This place is a gem and we all really enjoyed the many little details that are not common for VRBOs. we hope to return next summer.
We had a wonderful time. The cabin had every possible thing you needed for activity on the lake as well as the kitchen. The sunsets on the side of the big lake were stunning. A very short boat ride across the bay to a wonderful sandbar to anchor relax and enjoy the day.
Our stay at Whitefish Point was better than we could have imagined. We loved the style of decor throughout the whole house. The bedrooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable. The family room was gorgeous with two comfortable areas to sit and a big dining table. We loved the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the yard and lake. The kitchen was well equipped with state of the art appliances and plenty of everything to make us feel at home. We have stayed in many VRBO properties across the country and have learned to bring beach towels, food storage containers, extra toilet paper... but this home came with everything. Even our dogs had their own towels to be dried off with and space to rest in the laundry room.
The guest house was so charming. The style from the main house continued to the guest house. We loved it. The A/C unit was a great addition.
The location of the house on the point was also so spectacular. Having two docks, getting to see both the sunrise and sunset on the water is so unique.
We stayed a week and were sad to leave. We will definitely be back!
We had a great stay. House had everything we needed.
