About this property

Studio in the heart of the countryside

Our villa, Arc-en-Provence, nestles under mature oaks in the heart of the countryside just outside the village of Lorgues. Part of the villa is over 300 years old and was probably and old bergerie in its prime. The remains of an old medieval road pass through our grounds and are an indication of the history which permeates this part of Provence.

The Mimosa can also comfortably accommodate 2 adults. The studio contains a double bed or two singles, shower room, well equipped kitchenette with fridge, hob, counter top oven/grill and microwave. The living area has a comfortable settee a television and DVD and the dining table. The apartment has its own patio area with table chairs and shade umbrella. The 10m x 5m pool is shared as is the large natural garden. There is access to laundry facilities on the premises.

Wonderful holiday

A wonderful holiday in a beautiful apartment. Pete and Shirley were perfect host, the studio was beautifully clean, very well equiped and just perfect. Whole experience was just total bliss. Will definetly be returning.

A little paradise

Very nice stay in the studio apartment. It’s actually small but sufficient. Just the bed could have been a bit wider. The place has all you need for a relaxing holiday. The pool is immaculate and there are 6 people at most… the village is close and the market is very nice, lots of local products and stuff to see and touch ( for the women). Shirley and Peter are very nice people and don’t interfere if you don’t. Nice talks of you want to talk. We can fully recommend the place and consider coming back … thanks a lot

Un super séjour!!

Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour! La maison est au milieu de la campagne varoise et donc au calme! Le lieu vraiment calme et agréable que nous recherchions. Le logement est comme sur l'annonce, propre bien équipé et agréable. Les extérieurs sont super (merci pour la piscine). Même une coupure générale d'eau et d'électricité n'a pas réussi à ternir notre séjour, Peter et son épouse sont au petit soin et adorables!! Encore une fois "thank you so much Peter and Shirley" pour ce séjour et à très vite! (Faites une gratouille sur la tête de Sam pour nous)

Peter et Shirley sont très accueillants , discrets et à l'écoute, belle propriété, bien entretenue et grande piscine. Les draps, serviettes etc..sont fournis. De beaux villages à visiter "Cotignac, Tourtour .....nous sommes à 40 minutes de la plage Saint Maxime

Très bon séjour d'1 semaine. Appartement fonctionnel, propre, au calme. La piscine est entourée de végétation et très agreable. Nous avons fait une semaine de vélo. Jolis parcours. Peter à été très gentil et accueillant. Nous avons eu du mal à quitter cet endroit !

Een pareltje in de Var

We kwamen te vroeg aan maar werden hartelijk ontvangen door Peter en hun honden. Wij hebben daarna eerst het plaatsje bezocht om vervolgens 2 weken in de studio te verblijven. Een sfeervolle schone kamer van alle gemakken voorzien. Een geweldig plekje om tot rust te komen na een dagje uit, maar ook heerlijk om de dag aan het mooie schone zwembad door te brengen. Op gaan in een boek met op de achtergrond de krekels en het ruisen van de wind door de toppen van de bomen. De kust, du Verdon en nog vele andere mooie bezienswaardigheden liggen op maximaal 45 Autominuten afstand. Lorgues heeft op dinsdag een grote markt met veel streekproducten, een absolute aanrader! Peter en Shirley zijn fantastische gastheren. Hun vriendelijke honden komen graag gedag zeggen. Jammer dat we maar 2 weken geboekt hadden, dus alle reden om hier weer terug te komen. Peter en Shirley, bedankt voor de gezelligheid en alles wat we bij jullie hebben mogen beleven. Het was een vakantie met een gouden randje. Veel groeten vanuit het Nederland! Marcel en Mathilde

Un coin de Paradis au coeur de la Provence Verte.

Shirlay et Peter ont aménagé leur studio avec tout le charme anglais. La propriété est en pleine campagne et nous avons beaucoup apprécié le calme et la douceur de vivre dans ce bel endroit. La piscine au milieu des arbres et des fleurs permet des moments de relaxation intenses. N'oublions pas la gentillesse, la discrétion et l'humour "so british de nos hôtes. Un grand merci à eux.

The owners welcomed us warmly in that lovely place although we arrived late. The studio was perfectly clean and sanitized, like the pool outside, and all the place. The studio is well equipped and everything you need to eat/drink/cook/clean is available. The center of Lorgues is only 2-3 minutes away but the place seemed to be lost in the middle of the vineyards and the Provence countryside. It is quiet and relaxing, and the various trees from the flowery garden will provide some shades if the sun gets too hot. There is beautiful private terrace in the studio where you can sip a fresh glass of Rose right out of the fridge from the kitchen! I will definitely come back should the opportunity arise again.
