Casa Alainda is a very private and comfortable west facing villa with an open outlook in the residential Las Coloradas area of Playa Blanca, only a 15 to 20 minutes walk to the beautiful Papagayo beaches, the best beaches on the island.
The villa has VV Tourist registration.
With an attractive walled garden, terraces and large pool heated by solar power, the villa is ideal for those who prefer complete privacy.
Unusually for Lanzarote we have created a beautiful subtropical garden, aiming to have plants in bloom every day. It has become a haven for wild life, including Monarch butterflies.
We have installed a modern alarm system for added security while the house is unoccupied and for the security of our guests.
Local bars, restaurants and supermarket are a 5 minute walk and the centre of Playa Blanca is 2.4 Km away, walkable in about 30 minutes.

The open plan living area provides comfortable, spacious accommodation with a corner sofa and lounge chair. The Smart TV has a wide selection of British channels. If you have subscriptions to streaming services remember to bring your log in details. There is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs and free wifi.

Indoors there is a dining table and chairs for 4 people and there is also an outside eating area, shaded by a pergola, overlooking the pool and garden and facing the sunset. An outdoor sofa allows for relaxing in the shade and as keen gardeners we are continually adding colour to the outdoor space and building up a collection of flowering shrubs, cactus, succulents and climbers which will flourish in the climate.
The well equipped kitchen has polished stone worktops, a dish washer, a large fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee makers and a tea pot. A washing machine is situated in the adjacent utility room.
The master bedroom suite has a very large bed, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, two chairs and built in wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom has twin basins set in a marble top. a bath with a shower above, WC and a bidet. A fan and a heater are available. Bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
The second bedroom has twin beds, a bedside cabinet and large built in wardrobes. The second bathroom is next door and has a basin set in a marble top, a bath with shower above, WC and a bidet.

To the rear of the villa is a large, tiled terrace providing sunbathing areas beside the pool which has a Roman end with steps providing easy access. The pool is heated using solar heat collectors on the villa roof and has a cover to conserve heat at night. Four sun loungers are provided.
A walled solarium opening off the living room provides a second outdoor area with a table and chairs and two further sun loungers. Surrounded by high walls and totally private this is a wonderful sun trap, especially useful on windy days or late in the year and is perfect for early morning coffee.
The villa has a driveway providing private off street parking.
We advise hiring a car to see more of the island but you can enjoy your stay without one.
5 minutes walk will take you to a small shopping, centre with a Hyperdyno supermarket, bars, cafes, and much more, including a taxi rank.
The local bus into Playa Blanca town centre stops nearby every 30 minutes.
20 minutes along the water front pedestrian walk way will take you to the new Marina Rubicon with a good selection of restaurants and up-market shops.
