"Air-conditioned" Luxury suite in a mansion overlooking the Wolvenstraat. Located in "the nine streets", situated between Herengracht and Keizersgracht. In this newly delivered room you can enjoy a bathroom with two rain showers, a king-size bed, flat screen television with internet, free wifi, coffee (Nespresso) and tea making facilities. Stop off in Amsterdam

Wolvenstraat 16 was an excellent property for my wife and I to enjoy 3 days in Amsterdam ahead of a Viking river cruise. The unit is centrally located with only a 15-20 minute walk from the major attractions. Very quiet and simple. The apartment had a wonderful Old World feel while having a very modern and updated bathroom.

Great location, great property

Superb stay in Amsterdam, this suite was in an excellent location. Exceptionally warm and cosy with easy to use heating controls. The most comfortable bed we have ever had in a rental property. Exceptionally helpful host, flowers,wine etc & Nespresso machine. Helped with bags and information. Thank you

Fantastic Apartment in Amsterdam

great apartment , unbelievably great location, clean, stylish, host was very communicative and helpful. Only downsides, my wife and I had some work to do and the space just isn't built for that. also (shelf/work) space to put belongings was lacking. That said this apartment was great

Nine Streets Gem

We walked everywhere from this lovely apartment in the heart of historical Amsterdam. Plenty of shops, restaurants and other conveniences just steps away. Highly recommend.

Nice traditional Amsterdam unit

We spent 3 nights here. It is clean, comfortable, and central to most of Amsterdam. Beware, however, nearly all units have the notorious Amsterdam stairs!

Fabulous location

The apartment was great. Great Location. We could walk everywhere, which was perfect for us. No Ubers were required. Our host provided us with some fabulous treats in our fridge. He bought a few beers, cava, and a bottle of wine, plus my favourite, the stroopel waffles, for coffee in the morning. Thank you, and I hope to see you soon.

Wonderful time in Amsterdam

Huge room and bathroom. Snacks, beer, wine and bubbly for us. Tjakko met us outside the house just as we arrived by Uber and brought our big suitcase up the narrow, steep winding staircase. Location was a charming, relatively quiet neighbourhood, but just a few minutes walk to the action and sites. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Location!

We spent three nights and loved our stay. You could not ask for a better location. You are welcomed with wine, beer and Cava. The host is very attentive to any requests and lives upstairs. Our only minor comment is the bathroom floor is very slippery when wet. Highly recommend.

Best location, cool spot

Best possible location in the 9 streets. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Bed extremely comfortable. There were beers water and champagne waiting for us which was a nice touch. The bathroom is a bit strange - there is no separation between the toilet, sink and shower so the floor gets extremely wet after a shower. Also the bathroom is enclosed in glass so there is no privacy for someone on the toilet. We worked around it but was challenging at times.

Fantastic Suite

Loved this suite! Exactly as presented in the pictures. It was a great location with several restaurants and boutique shops close by. In walking distance to all attractions. Thank you for not only having an Nespresso Machine and coffee but the milk frother too! It was nice to have a latte in bed every morning. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent walking location & sparkling clean!

My husband & I enjoyed our stay so much at Tjakko’s place. The location is great since it’s close to lots of great bars, restaurants, cheese stores, souvenir shops, and bakeries. The train station is very close too, around 15-20 min walk. Tjakko is a great, helpful & a welcoming host. He personally gave us the keys and a tour of his apartment and explained how everything worked, so that we’d had a great stay. His place is sparkling clean and smells fresh. The bed and pillows are really comfortable and made us feel right at home immediately. The bed sheets are made of a good cotton quality too, leaving a smooth & relaxing feeling. Also, the shower has a good water pressure. I highly recommend Tjakko’s place whether you are a first time visitor or not. We would love to stay again when visiting Amsterdam. Thank You so for having us!

25th Anniversary Celebration

We had an amazing time at this condo. Everything is as described and very central to get to everything. The host was great and very responsive and there was great snacks, beer, wine and even champagne upon arrival!! Highly recommended!!

Girls Trip to Europe

My daughter and I took a spring girls trip to Europe. Amsterdam was one of our spots. My daughter encouraged me to book this space. We had a wonderful visit. We were so pleased with the location and the room. It had everything we needed and more. The location couldn’t have been more convenient. The room was cozy, super clean, and cute. If I go back to Amsterdam I would stay here again. And the communication with my host was excellent. He provided many recommendations and he left us drinks and snacks which we really appreciated.

The location was great, only a few minutes walk from anything you could need - bakeries, cafes, restaurants, shops. The place is as shown, clean and tidy with beautiful lighting and a spacious feel. I found the amenities to be generous and delightful, all communication with Tjakko easeful, check-in and check-out were simple and pleasant, with the whole experience really upping the quality of my stay in Amsterdam.

Gem Of City Center!

Amazing place to stay! Looked like photos. Hands down the most comfortable bed in a rental I've ever slept in, slept great everynight. Stayed warm during the cold with the thick curtains that also block out sun. Warm bedding. Smart TV so you can watch Netflix. Tjakko gives great recommendations for around town and stocks the places with things to make your stay great. Great shower, gets hot quick and great pressure. Central to sights of the city, in walking distance to a lot. Bar/restaurant under apartment is great for cocktails! I LOVED staying here. Stairs on property are steep and small but Tjakko helps where he can but if stairs are impossible for you this might not be a fit. Being said im plus size and I managed and there are plenty of rails to help up and down. I was also able to see the other apartment Tjakko has available and its equally amazing! He is an amazing and kind host. You will enjoy your stay!
