"Air-conditioned" Luxury suite in a mansion overlooking the Wolvenstraat. Located in "the nine streets", situated between Herengracht and Keizersgracht. In this newly delivered room you can enjoy a bathroom with two rain showers, a king-size bed, flat screen television with internet, free wifi, coffee (Nespresso) and tea making facilities. Amsterdam was amazing and this place is close to a ton of nice places. We were able to walk basically anywhere we wanted to go downtown. It was not an easy feat carrying our luggage up the stairs but that was to be expected staying downtown. Also the coffee shop “Coffee and Cakes Amsterdam” has the absolute best latte so far on this trip and it’s very close. Also the botanical gardens are amazing.

Great location

Excellent location! The stairs to get into the room were a bit hard to manage with large suitcases. The overall room was great but there needs to be more comfortable chairs for relaxing. A small table with chairs would be great as well

Very happy

Apartment was very clean, bed comfortable and we loved the area of the 9 Streets. Quickly got used to the narrow stairway, and there really aren’t many stairs anyway. The welcome items in the room were an especially nice touch. We definitely recommend this apartment!

Great property within walking distance of all key sites

We really enjoyed staying at the property since it has an upscale vibe and is perfect for a couple to relax and have fun! It was easy to walk to all of the key Amsterdam sites and the host is very attentive to your needs. We would definitely stay at the same property on our next visit.

Nice traditional Amsterdam unit

We spent 3 nights here. It is clean, comfortable, and central to most of Amsterdam. Beware, however, nearly all units have the notorious Amsterdam stairs!

Nine Streets Gem

We walked everywhere from this lovely apartment in the heart of historical Amsterdam. Plenty of shops, restaurants and other conveniences just steps away. Highly recommend.

Superb stay in Amsterdam, this suite was in an excellent location. Exceptionally warm and cosy with easy to use heating controls. The most comfortable bed we have ever had in a rental property. 25th Anniversary Celebration

We had an amazing time at this condo. Everything is as described and very central to get to everything. The host was great and very responsive and there was great snacks, beer, wine and even champagne upon arrival!! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic Location!

We spent three nights and loved our stay. You could not ask for a better location. You are welcomed with wine, beer and Cava. The host is very attentive to any requests and lives upstairs. Our only minor comment is the bathroom floor is very slippery when wet. Highly recommend.

Fabulous location

The apartment was great. Great Location. We could walk everywhere, which was perfect for us. No Ubers were required. Our host provided us with some fabulous treats in our fridge. He bought a few beers, cava, and a bottle of wine, plus my favourite, the stroopel waffles, for coffee in the morning. Thank you, and I hope to see you soon.

Fantastic Suite

Loved this suite! Exactly as presented in the pictures. It was a great location with several restaurants and boutique shops close by. In walking distance to all attractions. Thank you for not only having an Nespresso Machine and coffee but the milk frother too! It was nice to have a latte in bed every morning. Would definitely stay again.

great apartment , unbelievably great location, clean, stylish, host was very communicative and helpful. Only downsides, my wife and I had some work to do and the space just isn't built for that. also (shelf/work) space to put belongings was lacking. That said this apartment was great

Comfortable room, busy area

Comfortable bed and nice linens, bright spacious room in an interesting character building in the 9 Streets area. We enjoyed the refrigerator, A/C, and coffee maker. It was bit noisy at night and I had trouble with the traditional steep stairs (I’m 72) which should have been mentioned for folks like us who have never been to Amsterdam.

Best location, cool spot

Best possible location in the 9 streets. The apartment is very spacious and clean. Bed extremely comfortable. There were beers water and champagne waiting for us which was a nice touch. The bathroom is a bit strange - there is no separation between the toilet, sink and shower so the floor gets extremely wet after a shower. Also the bathroom is enclosed in glass so there is no privacy for someone on the toilet. We worked around it but was challenging at times.

Double Fun Canadians

My wife and I started our two week European vacation with three nights in Amsterdam at Tjakko’s luxury suite. As previous reviews detailed the host provided wine and beer in the refrigerator with water, coffee the best Dutch Stroop Wafels and chocolate. Location was essential for our first stay in Amsterdam and this apartment is in a perfect location to go unimpeded throughout the downtown core. There is a restaurant next door that we wanted to try as other reviewers raved about the “Sous Bistro” for tapas and wine. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation and there was no room for us outside. Timing was on our side as Tjakko was there and he set up a table for us on his step overlooking the street and we had the most fantastic dinner at the best table in Amsterdam! This was an amazing stay and opened our eyes to the way of life in Amsterdam. We will definitely be back someday in the future. Thank so much to the host Tjakko. Bill & Nicky

Stayed a week at the suite and highly recommend. Fantastic location - walkable to most major sites in Amsterdam. Tons of cafes, restaurants, shopping and more in the area. Host attends to every detail from the snacks and beverages to the high quality bath products. We received a housekeeping service halfway through our stay. Bed is super comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. We enjoyed having a fridge for breakfast items and kettle and Nespresso for morning beverages.Light sleepers may have an issue with street noise Thursday - Saturday which tends to die down about 1 am. The rest of the week is really quiet.

Our host was incredibly nice. He not only allowed us to store our luggage while we explored the city, he put it in our room.He also provided some great snacks, wine, and incredible body wash/scub.

This is such a great place to stay. It's located right in the middle of the city center. Beautifully decorated and has so many amenities. The shower was amazing and the bed is so comfy. The caretaker was amazing as well. We locked our keys in the room and he came to help asap which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this place to stay. Thanks again!
