Anavyssos is a sea-side settlement on the south-east part of Attica prefecture, very close to Athens (46km / 28 miles). The house is located on the Lakka neighborhood of Anavyssos. It is a tranquil residential area. The sandy beach of Anavyssos is very close (15-minute walk or just 2 minutes by car) and it has various beach bars, which offers sunbeds and umbrellas. It is ideal for families and children and the waters are crystal clear. There are also many other beaches in the greater area, which among other things offer water sports, scuba diving, etc. The seaside towns of Saronida, Agios Nikolaos and Palea Fokea, where you can find a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, cafeterias, bars and even movie theatres, are situated 3-4km (2 miles) away. One of the most important archaeological sites of Attica, the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio, is 20km (12.5 miles) away. The drive there, along with the Athenian Riviera, is breathtaking and once you arrive there you can go for a swim at the magnificent Sounio beach, with a view to the temple.
