Totally equipped and recently refurbished, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, it is enjoyable throughout the year for its different activities. Ideal for a short or longer break with family, friends and pets, as accesible to all ( entrance from the ground floor).

The exceptional site of the Dunes of Flandres is unique. 15 km of beach, 1,000 ha of nature, the wind, a wonderful stretch of sea.

Best location for kite surfing, tennis, jogging, sailing, windsurf, horseback-riding, "longe côte",...while exploring the wild dunes of Northern France and its history!...

The best vacation in 10 years!

Imagine walking to a humongous beach through a quiet village. The temperature is around 70 to 80, the sun sets in summer after 10 PM and the ice cream is waiting. Use the various beach entertainment such as the "Char a voile" or explore the 4 huge dunes with multi trails (Trail map at the tourist center where you can rent a bicycle.) Or walk the beach up to La Panne in Belgium, where the mussels are king at the restaurants and the fries are the best in the world, and accompany them with one of the 400 beers made in Belgium. Or let the kids build a sand castle in which they seat in while the rising tide assault it. Or investigate the multiple defenses built in the 1600s in the multiple villages around Dunkerque or the bunkers left over from WWII, or the mill in the highest point around Cassel with it's steep little streets at less than an hour drive. Or visit Bruges in Belgium at only 40 miles. The list goes on and on. Experiment with local cuisine: The potchlsvlech (Orthograph not guaranteed), a mixture of meats in incredible jelly, or the mussels sold in EVERY restaurant for a small price, or fish you probably never tasted, like ray wing. And of course, and especially, walk over the small grocery store to buy the breakfast baguette made fresh every morning warm and with the famous crust. (If you want to be bold, accompany it with one of the various French cheeses.) Or stop at the bakery for one of the scrumptious cakes ( look for the word 'patisserie'). And all this is available within a walk or a short drive from a very comfortable and quiet house with all the comfort. Definitely our best vacation. Almost everybody in France drives a compact car and the various hatchbacks are quite spacious. Bigger cars are not practical to visit the great little villages. Make sure the rental has a GPS or bring your own. Make sure also your smart phone has international call that can be turned on for a modest price and sometime for free.

Tolle Lage

Die Lage, Freundlichkeit und Check-In war ausgezeichnet. Das einzigste was gestört hat und leider auch nicht in der Beschreibung gestanden hat ist, dass die Treppen für in den 1. und 2. Stock sehr steil sind. Man hatte als Erwachsener schon seine Probleme die Treppen hoch zu kommen, für einen Hund so gut wie unmöglich. Im Wohnzimmer sind große Schimmelflecken an der Wand, ist nicht so toll. Man sollte sie vllt erst entfernen, bevor man da Leute reinsetzt. Ansonsten sehr freundlich und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Check-Out hat ohne Probleme geklappt. Nur 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt

Eensgezinshuis in gezellige badplaats

Grote eensgezinswoning in een prachtige buurt, op 400 meter van de zee. De woning zelf was schoon, wel erg gedateerd. We zijn uitstekend verwelkomd en de uitleg van alles was prima. Wat wel jammer was dat er op iedere verdieping geurapparaten stonden , dit gaf een verschrikkelijke lucht en heeft 3 dagen geduurd voordat we het er een beetje uit hadden. De slaapbank en de salontafel zijn erg laag en de bank heeft losse kussens en een sprei.De televisie ontvangst was zeer slecht, zenders vielen steeds weg en Netflix ect waren ook niet te ontvangen.Er is een omheinde tuin met een stukje gras. De supermarkt is op 50 meter lopen .Overall hebben we een hele leuke week gehad, mede door de afstand naar zee, het mooie weer en de omgeving.

Hallo,Wir haben den aufenthalt in der wohnung abbrechen müssen, da diese nicht fürcklich für unsere gesundheit förderlich war. Die wohnung war schnutzig und die luftqualität in der wohnung war mieserabeö, da die staubbeöadtung erhöht war wir sind nach der wrsten macht mit halsschmerzen und husten in eine neue unterkunft eines anderen anbieters untergekpmmen. Hier konnten wir uns dsnn etwas erholen und den urlaub geniesen. Ich bin mit meinerhand über eine ablagefläche gegangen und die hand war staubig. Das obere stockwerk haben wir gesaugt und geputzt gehabt danach wares uns einfach zu viel des guten

Wir hatten einen schönen Kurzurlaub. Der Kontakt war nett und schnell. Der Ausstattung des Hauses würde allerdings ein Makeover gut tun. Ansonsten ist alles vor Ort was man benötigt. Zwei Duschen und zwei Toiletten machen den Alltag leichter. Für Vier Personen hat das Haus eine gute Größe

Kleines Häuschen mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Kleiner Garten zur Mitbenutzung was wir sehr genossen haben. Wenn man keine große Aktion will ein guter Ort zum Abschalten und sich den Wind um die Nase wehen zu lassen.

My father passed out and I decided to share with my guests my family vacation home, while am not able to enjoy it myself. This is where I spent my childhood vacation and where I learnt to sail.
