A charming two story house situated directly on the shores of the Lac du Bourget (les pieds dans l’eau), the largest Natural lake in France and within its nature reserve. The house is located within the Village of Conjux with its fishmonger, restaurants, harbour and tennis courts.
The house consists of a large open plan living and dining area with a wood burner, a kitchen, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. All the rooms have uninterrupted views onto the lake and the surrounding mountains
Externally, there is a large garden with a sun terrace, a private pontoon and boat launch ramp with direct private access to the lake for swimming, sailing, fishing and other water sport activities. The area is famous for its cycling routes like the Col du Grand Colombier et Mont du Chat recently featured in the Tour de France . The house is nearby the historical Abbaye de Hautecombe and the medieval village of Chanaz along the canal de Saviere. Across the lake you can visit the spa town of Aix-les-bains known as the Riviera of the Alps or sample wine in the nearby vineyards of Jonjieux with its Michelin star restaurant.
