Amazing!

The house, garden and pool were beautiful. Veronique, the caretaker (?) was lovely and so helpful. The locality was really beautiful. We had a wonderful holiday. I would highly recommend this house and this area. Anything I would add? A parasol over the terrace perhaps!

We have just had a fantastic week in this amazing old French house. The house is very old and is enormous. 7 bedrooms on the first floor and another room on the ground floor which could be used as an additional bedroom if needed with a single bed with a truckle pull out under it. We took piano music and so enjoyed playing the grand piano in the lounge. The acoustic is great. There are two sets of french doors in the lounge leading onto the raised veranda so the light in the room is lovely. Tons of outdoor seating on the veranda which runs across the back of the lounge and down the whole of the side of the house with a long table that easily sat 12. There are two other large reception rooms with tables and chairs which we didn’t use at all, one with an old upright honky tonk piano. There is no TV or radio. There were no supplies provided so make sure you take toilet roll and anything else. I had taken dishwasher tablets and washing detergent and cleaning wipes but hadn’t expected not to have toilet roll or tea towels, or in fact hand towels for the bathrooms and after a long drive it was a bit arduous to have to immediately go and buy these but we left loads for the next people. You have to clean the bathrooms and kitchen when you leave so I would guess that you are reliant on the effort taken by previous guests in that regard. The house is really relaxing in large beautiful grounds. The pool is quite long so you could get a good swim. Wish we’d had longer.

Sehr schöne Anlage, Gebäude etwas vernachlässigt

Super schöne Parkanlage, toller, romantischer und riesiger Park. Genialer Pool, die Teens haben es geliebt. Sehr netter Kontakt, überaus hilfsbereit. Leider ist das Haus nicht ganz so gut unterhalten. Wasserhahnen, die tropfen und sich nicht schliessen lassen. Abflüsse, die ganz schlecht ablaufen. Morsche Terrasse, defekte Fensterscheiben. Zum Teil defektes Geschirr. Trotzdem haben wir es sehr genossen.

Herrlicher Urlaub

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen! Die Beschreibung „altes Herrenhaus“ passt perfekt, sehr behutsam u liebevoll saniert.! Dabei ist der Stil des Hauses nicht zerstört worden. Zur Begrüßung waren in vielen Räumen die Vasen mit schönen Wiesen und Gartenblumen gefüllt. Die rustikale alte Küche, hat uns Spaß gemacht zu bekochen! Der Pool ein Traum sehr sauber, der Park sooo schön! Also es war ein rund um gelungener Urlaub!

Superbes vacances de maîtres dans une maison de maîtres!

Cette semaine dans cette magnifique maison savoyarde a été trop courte! La maison est vraiment spacieuse et avec beaucoup de charme, meme si certains équipements (barbecue…) méritent d’être changé. La piscine est vraiment top, le parc du domaine permet meme de faire son footing! Je recommande pour vacances en famille, entre amis. Mention particulière à l’accueil :)

Großes Anwesen mit viel Platz

Unkomplizierte Abwicklung, sehr großes Anwesen mit viel Platz auch im Haus. Große Zimmer, schön möbliert, auch für größere Gruppen ausreichend (genug Stühle, Geschirr, Sonnenliegen am Pool …). Einfach entspannter Urlaub.

Belle demeure mais à entretenir

La propriété a beaucoup de charme avec un cadre splendide. Néanmoins, elle mérite un gros investissement en rénovation et en décoration avec goût pour la prestation proposée. Elle convient certainement pour un groupe d’artistes de passage mais pour des vacanciers elle manque de répondre aux attentes. Soulignons l’absence de détecteurs incendie, des prises et interrupteurs qui se détachent, des douches qui fuient, la moisissure dans les salles d’eau… Pour « conserver » cette demeure de caractère, il s’agira donc de la rénover et de l’assainir et d’exploiter pleinement son potentiel au risque de la voir décrépir et vendue à des promoteurs. La jeune femme qui nous a accueillis fait preuve d’une grande disponibilité et réactivité et sympathie.

Après avoir passé une première nuit mouvementée suite à des tirs de pétards permanent, des "runs" de voitures, musique et cris de groupe de jeunes, nous avons pu constater le lendemain, l'état de propreté de la cuisine: vaisselle garni de toiles d'arraignées, tasses non lavées, four plein de graisse et miettes colantes, four microondes non nettoyé, vaisselle grasse qui était exposé sur la table...laissant apparaître que le protocole Covid 19 doit être revu. Il est à noter egalement que le portail n'est pas dotė d'un système de fermeture operant, ce qui ne securise pas l'entrée de la propriété. Nous avons décidé de quitter les lieux. Jusqu'à aujourd'hui, nous n'avons pas reçu de réponse du propriétaire des lieux, pour échanger sur notre séjour et trouver un terrain d'entente.

Excellentes vacances à la villa Caramagne qui nous a permis d accueillir enfants et petits enfants

Vaste demeure, parc ombragé et piscine font un excellent cadre de vacances. Les nombreuses pièces de la maison sont idéales pour respecter l intimité de chacun. Ajoutez à cela, le charme d une maison bourgeoise ancienne. Sans oublier l excellent accueil de Vero .

Belle maison , pleine de charme, nombreuses pièces et vastes chambres, permettant à chacun de trouver sa place. Les petits déjeuners et dîners sur la terrasse ont été très appréciés ; et la piscine est très agréable.. Cuisine et sanitaires nécessiteraient une remise à niveau. Mais ça ne nous a pas empéchés de passer un très bon séjour

Magnifique séjour dans cadre d'exception

Vieille demeure entourée d'un immense parc nous assurant calme et repos . Très agréable séjour à proximité du lac, des randonnées en montagne et des commodités de la ville de Chambéry. A recommander.

Une maison extraordinaire pour des vacances avec la famille et les amis

Cette maison est immense, spacieuse (plafonds très hauts) et fonctionnelle. Nous avons passé 2 semaines extraordinaires : Véronique, la gardienne, est adorable, la piscine est bien entretenue et nous avons apprécié la table de ping-pong (le trampoline un peu moins car nos enfants sont grands) et les grandes tablées sous les arbres ou sur la très grande terrasse...un havre de paix à 5 minutes du centre de Chambéry! La seule remarque "négative" est l'entretien du parc qui laisse franchement à désirer alors qu'il serait vraiment magnifique avec un tout petit peu plus d'attention.
