About this property
Great space in the countryside with pool & sauna
Imagine lounging on the deck, cooking in the kitchen looking out on the countryside, and then enjoying an alfresco meal on the wrap around deck.
A contemporary bungalow in a peaceful village location. With heated pool and studio/games space - the heated pool is available year round, but only heated May to September. Weather depending, we are sometimes able to extend this. Note that the pool heater is, to some extent, dependent on air temperature and we cannot guarantee the water temperature especially in Spring. Sauna all year. Space for everyone. We do ask guests to respect our neighbours and the surroundings, and limit noise outdoors
Ideal for multiple generations. The house is wheelchair friendly, with ramp access in the garden.
Ideal for corporate team building, yoga retreats, wellness retreats. Studio space/games room for flexible activities.
The house was built in 1960 and typifies the style of the time. It offers fantastic open plan living, with space for everyone. 6 generous double or twin rooms (2 en suite with 2 additional shower rooms) provide generous accommodation for groups of up to 12. We have 2 travel cots and high chairs for the youngest members of the family. We can also provide grab bars and a shower stool if needed.
The house is ideal for multi generational gatherings, retreats, or just groups of friends getting together. Perfect for all ages, and all mobilities. A fine example of mid century modern building, lots of open plan living, with great views over the surrounding countryside.
The fields around us are often occupied by sheep or other livestock, so if you are bringing a dog, do be aware of this. The garden is fully enclosed but barking dogs do need to be kept under control. to prevent being a nuisance. Otherwise we are surrounded by the hills of the Malverns and Bredon, and the great landscape of Worcestershire. Ideal for walking, or for just relaxing. Heated outdoor pool (available May-September) Outdoor sauna. There is space for 5 cars on the drive way.
Unfortunately no hen parties, no stag parties. The property is not a party house. We simply ask that guests respect the environment and neighbours.

3 generations gathered in this lovely property to celebrate an 80th birthday. The house is spacious with excellent cooking facilities, pleasant garden and good use was made of the pool. We would certainly visit again. A game of cricket on the Village Green was an added extra
Beautiful house, beautiful location, just perfect! The party all agreed the Photos on the site don’t do the property justice. Great host and communication, couldn’t be more helpful if they tried! Highly recommend!
Spacious holiday home for a family holiday, all ages. A very good standard of accommodation and bathrooms etc. A well kitted out kitchen including lots of cutlery, crockery, glasses and appliances. A spacious garden area backing on to farmland with sheep. The garden was securely fenced so ideal for dogs. Reasonable sized pool and a good sauna. Easy to contact owners if you need had any questions
The house was arranged in a way that helped the whole family come together and interact well. We enjoyed the open plan living areas, the sauna too. Sadly the pool had been switched off before our arrival, so, once on, it took the whole week to reach a bearable temperature in which to swim. Despite that, our family had a most enjoyable time together and the lambs in the neighbouring field, together with the beautiful array of spring flowers that arrived during our stay, was the icing on the cake. Thank you!
Spacious and beautifully presented house ideal for family gatherings or couples holiday.. Stunning surroundings and fantastic facilities - pool, sauna, games room. The house has everything you could possibly need - this really is one of the best away from home stays that we have had. Great host - regular contact and swift response to any queries. I would highly recommend this property. We loved it.
Pool, although small, proved a hit with all ages in heatwave. When the weather cooled down the lovely new sauna was used. The dining areas and living areas are great. Lots of space and well designed, aesthetically pleasing layout that allows everyone to be together without being on top of each other. Good setting with pastoral views and a cute village with riverside walks. A downside was the number of large trucks passing by the house. These are collecting the abundant harvest of vegetables from local fields so it's a necessary intrusion unfortunately.
Wonderful house which really suits multi generation stay. The pool was perfect for us and our children loved the garden.
Well equipped and lots of lovely places to explore nearby.
Lovely house. Good communication with the owners. The house is very comfortable. Lovely relaxing spaces- garden and pool area too. Local amenities not far away and local pub is a short walk away. Food was great. Not far from Cotswolds. Thank you
Ample space for a large family group, beautiful house filled with original, inspiring art, comfortable beds and living areas, the pool was a delight, as was the sauna, and easy access for one family member who uses a walker.
This is an amazing holiday property
We had 3 generations of our family staying in the bungalow. There was plenty of space plus the heated pool and sauna
We had a great holiday
This is a lovely holiday home , great pool and new sauna - (only used once by my son). The house interior is a little tired and there are no toys for little ones - so if you have young children be sure and bring some along! The games room was very popular. We did have an issue with the TV but the owner came and sorted the same day and got an engineer in to replace bokken cables etc. Prompt and efficient ! One of the dining chairs gave way, and we discovered there was a bolt missing from one of the legs. We didn't use it again - it was almost an accident ! But there are plenty of chairs - it didn't affect our stay overall. Very well equipped kitchen . Bathrooms fab. Some new pillows would be good (bedroom one) Beautiful garden and outlook. We loved that we had space to be apart and also together - great for extended family holidays . Its a thumbs up from us !
Really spacious, clean, nicely located giving it that tranquil feeling.
The owners were so accommodating answering any additional questions I had.
There were 11 of us with a mix of couples and single friends. Nice size bbq which we enjoyed Friday evening. Lots to do around the area too and some of made use of the dog walking routes, whilst some made use of the facilities such as the pool. There were some sheep at the bottom of the garden which were fenced off but they weren’t skittish and seemed used to dogs and people so no problems there.
We had a chef come in and the ample facilities was ideal for the chef and also for the ample cutlery, crockery and glasses we needed for our 5 course tasting menu with wine flight.
I could not fault the accommodation and would definitely consider coming back with my friends as there was so many places located close by that we did not get a chance to visit.
Parson's Pleck gave us everything we needed for a perfect family holiday for three generations. It's very spacious and the games room, tv room, swimming pool and garden were all enjoyed very much. The warm swimming pool was used everyday and especially enjoyed by our grandchildren. We would highly recommend.
Great property where all bedrooms are a good size. Geared up for big groups / families and the pool is fantastic. Shallow so more of a children's pool but very warm so they loved it.
The house is everything we wanted, plenty of indoor and outdoor space, pool was great for the kids (and sometimes adults). Kitchen was well equipped, there was more than enough of everything we needed. The listing said 6 bathrooms…there’s 5, which was fine, but did send the kids off searching the house for the missing bathroom hahaha. Also we wasn’t aware that there are sheep in the neighbouring field, on occasion our dog did bark at them, if we had known this, we might not have booked the house. Overall we all loved our stay, would recommend the house to anyone
Absolutely ideal for our family get together for a birthday celebration. Plenty of space, great amenities, loads of books! Big and spacious bedrooms. Pool was the right temperature, easy to cover at night. Close to villages with lots of good pubs.
Really fantastic space!! Lots of amenities to cater for all age groups. All ok one level so it felt really spacious. The hosts were incredibly responsive with all our enquiries. Would definitely stay here again!
Tussie and David's house was the perfect place to spend a few days away with family, catching up after the various lockdowns caused us to postpone various special birthday celebrations and also Christmas 2020.
The house really did have something for everyone, as we ranged in age from 3 and 71. The pool is obviously a major bonus, as is the large garden for the kids to run around in and burn off some energy. The games room also proved popular with the teenagers in our group, with table tennis tournaments keeping everyone active!
The layout of the house is ideal for family groups as there are the communal spaces large enough to hold everyone, but also the cosier spaces in which people can tuck themselves away to read a book or have a snooze.
Our only wish is that we could have stayed to enjoy the house even longer, but the time we had there was everything we wanted and more.
Thanks for everything!
We checked in for a long weekend in September, we had a brilliant time! The house was in the most perfect location where we could walk to local towns, was perfect for our group that travelled. Will be back, 100%! Tussie was perfect the whole way through, clear about the COVID restrictions, no complaints at all.

About the host
Hosted by Tussie
Hi, we are David and Tussie. We love welcoming families and groups who want to come and enjoy the space we have created . Tussie is Swedish, and there is a lot of influence from Scandinavia in our style. David is South African and an industrial designer...a huge contributor to our comfort, from designing and making furniture to designing the layout of all our additions.
Why they chose this property
The house was originally built in 1960, as an avant garde building...a one off. A few interesting developments in the intervening years meant some of the original charm was stripped away, until we bought it in 2005. Our goal was always to resurrect the open plan warmth and practicality that it had originally. The house is ideal for family gatherings, retreats, or just groups of friends who want to spend time together. Perfect for all ages, and all mobilities.
We can add grab bars in the showers if needed. And there is ramp access to the garden from the deck area. We have a shower stool available as well.
There is a heated outdoor pool available May - September, and an electric outdoor sauna available year round (a one-off per stay charge for those wanting it to be available).
We have now installed solar panels with battery back up to do our bit for reducing demand on the grid and reducing our carbon emissions. We hope that you join us in playing our part in Net Zero.

Otherwise we are surrounded by the hills of the Malverns and Bredon, and the great landscape of Worcestershire. Ideal for walking, or for just relaxing. Heated outdoor pool (available May-September) Outdoor sauna (given the rising electricity costs, we have had to introduce a one-off charge for those wanting to use this, £50 for a long weekend or £75 for a week stay. Payment to be made ahead of stay). There is space for 5 cars on the drive way.
