About this property

Badgerwood - sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms

Elevated above Sudeley Castle with a sweeping view over the charming town of Winchcombe and the Evesham Valley, Badgerwood sets the stage for your next grand escape. Your first glimpse is a showcase of its impressive architecture, incorporating dramatic angles of timber and Cotswold stone while the landscape softens its framing. The house seamlessly integrates with the history of Sudeley Castle, unique pieces from the estate collection and original cottage features masterfully blend the old with the new.

The attention to detail found throughout this grand design is evident as soon as you step into the entrance hall. Exquisite artwork and rugs enhance the ambient lighting, transporting you to the idyllic home from home of Badgerwood. Sweeping up into the open plan living area the space opens around you, where a dual sided woodburner becomes a central feature. A cornflower blue kitchen allows professional chefs to cater to your every taste as you gather at the dining table. Celebrate a special occasion by partaking in games room entertainment, perhaps a game of pool or round of table tennis. When the evening winds down adjourn to the sitting area for a nightcap and raise your glasses. Enjoy a gentler evening in the snug which evokes the aura of a gentleman's lounge where you can sink into the vibrant red sofa for a cinema experience with your choice of film on the smart TV. At Badgerwood, no details have been overlooked, even the ground floor cloakroom is beautiful. Six divine en-suite bedrooms are set across the ground and first floors. Rest in the lap of luxury in the master bedroom which has phenomenal views of the castle. Bi-fold doors open to a terrace where you can absorb the magnificent, breathtaking beauty of the surrounding area. Pristine linens, beautiful fabrics, custom-made dressing areas and irresistible super king-size beds contribute to this being one of the finest places you will stay.

The extravagance and luxury are not limited to the interior and seamlessly extend outside. From a pool terrace with a sunken hot tub, to an outdoor kitchen and dining area that rivals those found indoors Badgerwood has so much to offer. Spend a lazy day poolside, sipping champagne in the bubbling hot tub while a smoke infused feast cooks at the outdoor kitchen. If you'd like to stay active, your private gym awaits. Treadmill sprints and weightlifting sessions while you gaze across Sudeley Castle and Winchcombe are a truly unique experience. If you are bringing dogs with you the enclosed lawned garden will be a welcome bonus providing space for them to play safely under supervision.
