Located on the ground floor, it has an independent entrance from the large courtyard and a dining area - kitchen (with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine) communicating with the patio behind the villa. The living room was built in the ancient cellar, with architectural solutions that highlight the rock and the tufa wall dating to the original plant of the farmhouse (13th century). The two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one double bed, overlook the main courtyard and are separated by two arches. The large bathroom has elegant concrete-resin bath-tub solutions of contemporary design, a large sink and stone cladding. Central heating.
Guests can use the back patio, more intimate, for breakfast and lunch, while the big one for bbq in the evening or dinners in the company of other guests of the villa; the outside shower and stone tub are at your disposal. The Pizzeria with a wood oven located near the residence.
In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, at the edge of Brenna, a village 10 km from Siena, Villa Amedeo is a typical rustic farmhouse dating back to 1400 consisting of 6 apartments of different surface that house each from 2 to 8 people. Depending on the needs, guests can choose to rent individual apartments (ideal for couple or family), a plan with multiple apartments (for families or friends who want to share kitchen and living), or the whole villa (20 beds, for ceremonies or special occasions).
The villa overlooks the cultivated fields and orchards surrounding Brenna. The proximity of the village church allows you to organize special events throughout the year and take advantage of cultural, leisure and gastronomic activities off-season, such as the wine / vintage circuit, theatrical and concerts, cyclotourism and horse riding.
Outside, a main equipped courtyard and a more intimate patio at the back of the villa are at guests' disposal to have breakfast and dine outdoors. Internally, each apartment is composed of one or two double bedrooms, a large living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower or tub with minimal and linear design.
The restoration of the property enhanced its existing architectural features, its exposed stone facade, antique terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. The project has highlighted light, warm-colored walls and architectural solutions that contribute to making each room unique in a style that enhances the contrast between old and new.
The interior spaces are personalized and revisited in a modern way: the proletarians who originate in the area but travelers for passion and profession have "brought back" from the various corners of the world objects and pieces of furniture that complement existing ones. The bedrooms, decorated with silks and wrap-around and colorful cotton, add intimacy to wooden beds, some of them canopies, and lightly oriental touches. A special intervention jumps to the eyes in the bathrooms with natural nuances: they are the wash basins digged into the stone. Thick, large, made of whole and heavy blocks of basalt stone. The daytime spaces, different in each flat in shape and size, are always in open dialogue with the outside and usually subdivided into a dining area and a relaxation area. On the travertine terrace, a large stone Jacuzzi allows you to relax after spending the day on foot or by bicycle along the forest paths, bathe in the river Merse or visit the nearby art cities.
