Perfect holiday

Spotlessly clean, a very warm welcome, perfect position within walking distance of the village and a short drive of many historic sites of great interest. We should have booked for longer!

June under the linden tree

Just as described, peaceful, accessible, restful. Plenty to see and do in the area, especially for paleolithic interests. We had great fun listening to the birds in the nearby woods. Especially, our hosts were as helpful and friendly as it is possiblevto be.

This is a nice Gite in a wonderful location only a short walk from st Leon sur vezere . The property is well maintained and has everything you need however we found it lacked privacy as it is open to the road on one side and directly onto the owners property on the other.

Nice Place

Traditional Gîte offering all amenities ( dishwasher, laundry machine, microwave, wiFi, TV, Shower, bathtub etc, nice swimming pool). We had Ratsherr cold weather, and we would have appreciated some possibilty to heat the main room. The Hosts are very friendly

Nice and clean villa and well equipped. Location is as described. Only issues are that the pool is shared and guest hours are 10am - 7pm which is not mentioned in the description. In addition, there is no aircon or fans for the bedrooms and it can get very hot. However, owners are very welcoming and on site if any help is required.

-->Prachtige, rustige locatie aan een heuvel op 10min loopafstand van het dorpje. Mooi zwembad en een fijn buitenterras waar je lekker kunt zitten. Huisje zelf was enigszins verouderd, maar van alle gemakken (vaatwasser, wasmachine, oven, magnetron, broodrooster, etc.) voorzien. De verouderde staat van het huisje merkten we vooral aan het krakende hout op de bovenverdieping, wat beneden heel goed te horen was. Ook zitten er in een van de kamers en in de keuken houtwormen, die je 's nachts duidelijk kan horen kraken in het hout. Toiletten spoelen ook niet lekker door, maar verder erg tevreden over het huisje en de locatie. --> Carole en Alait (gastheer en -vrouw) zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, meedenkend en gastvrij. Hebben allerlei tips wat betreft activiteiten en restaurants. We voelden ons af en toe wel een beetje in de gaten gehouden, omdat ze de hele dag in de buurt waren (ze wonen er zelf naast/tegenaan). --> Het dorpje, op 10min loopafstand, is erg gezellig. 's Ochtends kun je er brood halen en 's avonds kun je er heerlijk eten. Veel leuke activiteiten in de buurt; kanoën, klimpark, grotten, kastelen, dorpjes, wandelen, etc. --> Kortom: zeker een aanrader qua plek/omgeving/eigenaren/activiteiten, maar niet als je van een luxe ingericht huisje houdt:))

Alles aanwezig in het huis. Zwembad ziet er netjes verzorgd uit, verschillende mogelijkheden voor kinderen. De omgeving is prachtig. Je kunt wandelen, kanoën enz. Andere bezienswaardige plaatsen zijn niet erg ver weg, die zijn zeker ook een bezoek waard. Al met al, voor ieder wat wils hier!

Belle maison bien située mais manque d’intimité

La maison est belle (ancienne bâtisse typique de la région) avec une superbe vue sur un beau paysage périgourdin. L’emplacement à Saint Léon est vraiment idéal pour rayonner et découvrir la région qui regorge d’activités en tous genres. Enfin, Alain et Carole sont des hôtes adorables et attentifs et nous ont réservé un très bon accueil. Seuls bémols : - L’intérieur de la maison est un peu sombre et nous avons été incommodés par une odeur persistante - la maison manque d’intimité : elle est attenante à la résidence principale des hôtes, et la piscine est partagée avec eux. Même si les hôtes savent se faire discrets, ça n’était pas ce que nous avions imaginé en réservant.

Super - Innen, Außen, Blick

Großzügiges, schönes Steinhaus mit allem was man braucht: gut ausgestattete Küche, hervorragende Betten, 2 Bäder...Für uns wichtig: 4 tolle Außenbereiche mit schönem, weitem Ausblick: große Terrasse mit Esstisch und Loungemöbeln, wunderschöne, schattenspendende Linde, und natürlich der saubere, einladende Pool. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind sehr diskret, nett und großzügig, der Kühlschrank war wohlgefüllt und Begrüßung und Kommunikation ließen keine Wünsche offen...danke, Carole und Alain, wir kommen gerne wieder! Auch noch praktisch: das Haus liegt fußläufig zum Ort St. Léon

Schöne Unterkunft. Zentrale Lage im Perigord Noir.

Nette Begrüßung durch die freundlichen Vermieter Carole und Alain. Für die erste Verpflegung waren schon Kuchen, Eier, Brot, Butter, Wasser, Milch, Saft und Wein bereitgestellt. Wir haben uns in der Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes wohl gefühlt und vor allem die Terrasse und den Pool sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge, Wanderungen und Besichtigungen im Perigord Noir.

Net terug van onze tweede keer vakantie op deze fantastische plek en dat is geen toeval. Voor ons en onze 4 kinderen was het een totaal ervaring. Wij kunnen ons niet vinden in recente andere (en nogal zure) recensies, behalve de opmerking over het bed, dat mag wel vervangen worden. Het is een romantische boerderijtje en geen ultramoderne luxe villa. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een relaxte vakantie op een werkelijk fantastische plek. Alle praktische zaken zijn aanwezig, het zwembad is heerlijk en de tuin en het uitzicht prachtig. Het dorp is pittoresk en bied vele mogelijkheden om lekker te eten. Tip: maak een helikoptervlucht door het vezere-dal. Carole en Alain regelen het graag voor je. Heel vriendelijke mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan.

Ontvangst goed door eigenaren. Accomodatie verdient modernisering (matras bed begane grond is aan vervanging toe, er zit een kuil in en de badkamer eerste verdieping heeft een oude douche en op de begane grond alleen een bad).daarnaast is de privacy bij het zwembad onvoldoende, de schutting is niet volledig dicht en ook open aan1 kant waardoor de eigenaren die erachter wonen volledig in het zwembad kunnen kijken. Er was wat discussie over springen in het zwembad door de kinderen in verband met waterverlies. Dat vonden we een beetje kinderachtig omdat kinderen nou eenmaal spetteren en je dus het zwembad met water moet aanvullen.

de aankomst was uitstekend de accommodatie proper en netjes alla voorzieningen zijn er veel ruimte in huis en buiten met zwembad en prive parking en de mensen daar zijn super vriendelijk de omgeving is super mooi EEN AANRADER
