This beautiful beach home has beach views across the entire back and sides of the home. It's comfortable, clean and charming. A short walk down the back steps lead to the best beach views on the island. Grab a beach chair, your best friend and a favorite book and dig your toes in the sand along the water's edge. And if you have a fishing pole, make sure to pay close attention because Alligator Point is known as one of the best fishing spots on the Gulf.

We loved the house! Awesome location at the beginning or Alligator point and had everything that we needed!! The area under the house is perfect for mid day when it’s hot.

Peaceful Family Getaway

A beautiful house right on the gulf. We had a wonderful week of Long Beach walks and fun nights watching the storms cross the gulf. The owners have made sure this home is stocked with anything you may need and more and are very helpful with any questions. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Such a great week!

Our family had the best time here. Saw Dolphins almost every day. So much more wildlife than we were expecting. The house was probably the most well stocked vacation rental we have ever stayed at. The outdoor living space was awesome! Thanks for the excellent vacation spot!

2023 Vacation

This house was peefect. Sit on the deck and drink coffee every morning and watch rhe dolphins. The house was more than well equipped with supplies you need. Highly recommend. Will be back next year with our dog's again.

Home Away From Home!!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family! The views were breathtaking and every space had plenty of seating for our family of five (grandparents, two kids (3&6), and myself. The kids loved the bunk room, the grandparents soaked up views from the master, sofas, and outdoor loungers and the the area below the house was a special touch we appreciated during the warm sunny afternoons. The home had top of the line features and it’s kitchen was the most well stocked we’ve ever experienced from VRBO. Would definitely recommend and look forward to booking again in the future.

Family Beach Time

We had a great time at this beautiful home! We spent time down on the beach and what a special opportunity to not only share that with kids, but also our 4-legged family member. She had a blast, too. House was just what we needed. Outfitted well, roomy & comfortable. Nice spaces to gather both inside and outside. Owners were responsive & helpful. Even on the hot days the breeze downstairs made it comfortable to sit outside. Loved our stay and hope to return!

Great Rental!

This was our 2nd visit to the Tin Cup Palace. We love this rental. The home is stocked very well (extra towels, extra sheets, lots of dishes, beach chairs, outdoor cooler and much more that will make you feel at home on vacation!). Bonus - tankless water heater-no worries on who is showering or washing clothes! The owners are responsive. Alligator Point is so quiet. You will feel like you are on a private beach!

Beautiful home and view

The home is nicely decorated and the beach and sunset/sunrise views are amazing. The house had everything we needed and we had a nice time with out family. Our only complaint is about the mattress in the master bedroom, which we found to be very uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the couch for most of our stay. Despite the mattress, we would recommend the location.

Peaceful paradise

We felt at home the moment we stepped into Tin Cup Palace. Laura and Mike were very responsive hosts. The home is very well stocked. The only thing I would bring next time is a beach umbrella but other than that, they've thought of everything. The decor has a darling shabby coastal feel and the furniture is quite comfortable. The living area underneath the house was the perfect spot for taking in the breeze while listening to the whiporwills. The gulf water is not the prettiest in Alligator Point but the beach is beautiful and never crowded. We found lots of cool things on our walks from hermit crabs to anemones, sea glass to a washed up manna ray. If you are considering a vacation in the area this is a wonderful house.

Beautiful memories! Charming, spacious, updated cottage with a dynamite view! Can't wait to go back!

We soaked up the sun and pristine, natural beauty of Alligator Point for nearly six weeks. The amazing ocean view on three sides of the "Tin Cup Pallace" takes your breath away. The home is just a few yards to the water's edge. We observed dolphins and bald eagles from the deck nearly every day. The shore birds and crabs are fun to watch. The area is full of natural, pristine beauty as it is surrounded by thousands of acres of state parks and wildlife refuge. Fishing and boating opportunities abound. We saw manatee in the clear waters of Wakulla Springs and a bald eagle nesting and so many other rare and migrating birds at St. Marks. Refuge. We enjoyed exploring for unique, local places to eat and shop in nearby villages. The owners were welcoming, available and personable. They have done such a great job of decorating/modernizing this home and anticipating needs. (There is even a Florida & ocean themed collection of books!) We enjoyed just hanging out inside too! Our two Saint Bernards loved romping on the sand bar, at low tide. Sunrise and sunset are fabulous and OH THE STARS!!! We are so grateful we took a chance on the "forgotten coast" of Florida for our first "snowbird" experience. We have beautiful photos and memories. Thanks Laura and Mike for taking a chance on us. :)

Great home! Perfect location!

The Tin Cup Palace was the perfect home for our family! My family of 5, plus my mother-in-law and father-in-law stayed at this beautiful home and it was the perfect size for the 7 of us. My 3 young kids had a blast catching shrimp, crabs and hunting for seashells and sea glass. Alligator Point has become our new favorite beach destination with our family. This was our second trip to Alligator Point and we will be coming back! This area is perfect for the nature lovers! We saw dolphins, stingray, manatees, eagles, crabs, and even a couple of sharks. My husband and father-in-law brought their fishing poles and a throw net and fished every single day. Because the beach is so quiet (there were maybe 2 other families on the entire stretch of the beach), we brought a walkie talkie for our kids and let them walk and explore the beach. This is my absolute favorite place because the beach is so peaceful and you don’t have to worry about all of the crowds! The Tin Cup Palace had plenty of beach accessories including beach chairs, lounge chairs, and even an umbrella that a previous guest left. There were beach toys that were also left for the kids to play with. The home itself was perfect for our family. We cooked all but 2 nights. The kitchen was completely stocked with all that we needed to cook our meals and then some! Mike and Lisa really took care of us and were extremely responsive to all questions we had. They are tremendous hosts and we will definitely be coming back!

Family Beach Trip

Our family enjoyed a week’s stay and it was fantastic! The location is perfect and the views from the front porch were amazing. We woke early each morning and enjoyed our coffee looking at the storms in the distance. The house was roomier than I expected and we had plenty of things to do nearby. Great amenities (beach chairs, cornhole, bikes and a kayak) and the dogs had a blast playing on the beach. Highly recommend!

An amazing property. Beautifully and thoughtfully designed and presented. Equipped beyond expectations with good kitchen area inside along with a great BBQ area with seating underneath the house! Lovely location and ideal for relaxing by the beach or using as a base to explore the local area. The hosts were amazing in the lead up to our stay. We were kept us up to date along with being provided with some really useful local knowledge on places to visit and local restaurants.

Why they chose this property

The Tin Cup Palace is our 25th Anniversary gift to each other. We love the sugar white sand beach and natural beauty surrounding Alligator Point. This home has beautiful views from all living spaces with windows across the back to look out over the gulf. When we first stayed on Alligator Point we were greeted every morning by dolphins playing along the shore as pelicans and seagulls hovered above. We saw manatees and turtles swim to the shore as we sat in our beach chairs overlooking the water.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful and quiet. This is the forgotten coast. It's charming and reminiscent of Old Florida before the strip malls and crowds cluttered the highways and beaches.
