Great stay

So happy we found this place. It was a wonderful stay. I loved seeing the water in the morning. We kayaked and fished in the water. My husband caught a huge bass. Almost about the size of me:). We made good memories and I'd come back to this place in a heartbeat. The host communicated with us when we had issues and checked in. It was really great services. You can hear the road alittle but still not too much where it would it bother you in your sleep. But loved the floaties provided and the beach umbrella in the laundry room was nice. We just had a blast. I do not have one complaint about this house. It was perfect.

Nice place. We had a fantastic time.Air conditioning was leaking water on to the slab under the house.It was puddling up the path to walk in and out. That was kind of a pain but I did notify them and I’m sure they can fix that. Air conditioner is also real loud. Wasn’t that big of a deal.In fact I would stay there again if it wasn’t for one a the neighbors.One of are guest was walking around in the water on vacation and got interrogated by a neighbor (Karen) that was absolutely out a line.Asking for his permission/fishing license.Claimed he was trespassing and screamed at him about sea turtles.My buddy couldn’t believe it.A simple conversation would have been easy enough.No one wants to get verbally assaulted on vacation.We are all licensed fisherman and responsible adults.Great place just BEWARE OF NEIGHBOR.

Super Private Kid Friendly (and Relaxing) Getaway!

We were the only people on the beach the whole time, there's hardly any waves, & the kids were able to play in the sand and water without us having to worry about anything! It was perfect for our family if 6 (Kids ages 1,4,9&11). The house had plenty of sleeping options. One of the bedrooms has been updated since the property photos and has a fun bunk bed and full size bed. That was a pleasant surprise! The owner responded right away and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.You simply won't find a better place on the beach for this price and we were so grateful to get to stay here!

House on the beach

We had an amazing time. The weather was perfect. The house was stocked with pretty much everything we could possibly need. We saw a dolphin our very first day there. The owners are very nice and quick to respond and take care of any issues we had. This is a great place for some R&R. Would definitely recommend.

The best family memories in an amazing location

The view is not only stunning but absolutely serene. When you arrive you are greeted with an amazing view of St George sound. When entering the home, it is warm and inviting and offers a happy beach vibe that is perfect to get everyone excited to get on the beach to play and explore. Each room had a window that overlooked the beach where you could see the sunrise and sunset colors perfectly. Our family truly enjoyed this vacation and it is going to be hard to beat. The owners were great communicators and let us know thwy were available if we had any questions or problems. The best part was there were no problems because everything you could need for the perfect family beach trip was provided. From a fully euiped kitchen , laundry room. Roku tvs in every room and wifi that the kids could connect their tablets to. When we weren't enjoying the amazing beach in the backyard the house offered a great space too cool down from the hot summer heat. The air-conditioning worked great and the whole house stayed cool and when us Northerners got too cold in the house, we were able to turn it down to a tempurature that was comfortable. Outside there were boogy boards, tubes, sand toys, nets and everything my kids needed to to enjoy the beach to the fullest. A hose also offered a great place to rinse the sand off and cool down before going back into the house. Overall an absolutely amazing stay. I can't thank you enough for allowing my kids and I to enjoy your home and make amazing memories

Peaceful Getaway

Well kept property. It sits in a very peaceful area with the water just feet away. Great getaway location with plenty to close by. We can't wait to book our next stay.

Wonderful stay!

Nice, quiet, and relaxing. Be sure to go out at low tide, we found many starfish and baby horseshoe crabs! There are also many stingrays and blue crabs. We didn't try to go fishing, but did see quite a few decent sized ones jump out of the water! Not a negative, but if you use the dryer be sure to do so in small loads. I had better success with small loads and timed dry (90min). I would say it is because of all the humidity!Adult only review: if you and your partner have relations, the house may shake and your older children may make comments about that - beware haha.

Great place to relax

We enjoyed the small private beach very much. The house was just as described. The little town of Carabelle was a gem. The people were super nice, there were several good restaurants and bars and cute shops. Other reviewers mentioned the beds being uncomfortable and they weren't wrong, the matress in the primary bedroom really needs to be replaced. The lock on the laundry room just requires you to do the code and then push the lock button 2 times, took us a few tries to figure it out too.We will definitely want to stay here again.

Relaxing spring break.

Everything was just as stated in the listing. Views were beautiful and quiet. Plenty of space for 6 of us Owners were quick to respond to my messages. Great place to relax and beat the busy tourist spring break beaches.

Christmas Getaway

Quiet, relaxing, and on the beach. Even though Florida was having a cold snap it was still great. Lots of cool things washed up on shore with the tide. Cutest little place but be prepared to hike your gear up the stairs. Was totally wishing there was a lift for bags on the second trip.

It was ok

I was so excited by the photos showing such a close beach to the house and it did not disappoint. The hours has some serious damage but otherwise stable. Stairs are pretty tough for anyone with mobility issues. Location is great. House was ok and amenities standard. Biggest issue was no communication with owner. After we got there we discovered a squirrel is living in the ducts. I contacted owners several times by text and via VRBO but the not once responded to me. I rent houses several times a year for the last 15 years. First time I’ve not had an owner completely ignore me.

Peaceful retreat

Right on the beach which was exactly what we wanted. We caught varieties of fish and even a manta ray. The kids were able to safely swim since the sand bar blocked the bigger waves. The house had everything we needed, we went out for dinner twice in Carrabelle. The neighbors were friendly and helpful with tips and suggestions for the area. We would stay here again. Thank you!

Right on the beach!

Great location but lots of steps, be prepared our senior dog hag trouble with all the steps. But house was perfect!
