Loved this cozy cottage. On the foggy cold evenings there was the fireplace and a nice dvd selection. When the weather cleared there was a view to the sea and sun through the windows in the dining area. Amazing walks in every direction. Glad we had wellies for the footpaths!
Great cottage a 15 minute walk away from the beach. Full of character and the kitchen was nice and light looking out to the garden. The cottage was nice and clean. Cottage was warm and the log fire was great in the evening.A great location 5 minute drive outside of Bridport. Lots of great pubs a short drive away. The local beaches were all great too. We stayed with our dog and she enjoyed the local hilly walks. Will look to start again.
This beautiful cottage was more than we were expecting. Thoughtfully adapted- a haven of peace and tranquillity. We have spent two happy days here together and will be sad to leave.
Brilliant communication from the host. Clock House is very old c1800 and full of character and quirks, like wonky stairs and a game of trying to work out which light switch works which light. But it is extremely cosy and comfortable. We had a brilliant couple of days there for a little half term break.
We had a lovely stay here even though the weather wasn’t very summery! We made visits to Eype Beach, the dramatic West Bay and Lyme to enjoy the sandy beach and great fish and chips. Our evenings at the cottage were quiet and relaxing - just perfect to unwind in!
The cottage is delightful. We spent a very happy weekend walking here. The coastal path is accessible on foot. We walked to Lyme Regis and got the bus home - fabulous views! Would love to stay in the cottage again - it is cosy and warm with everything you need. Thank you :)
Overall excellent, but the shower head in the main bathroom needs the limescale removed and the sky lights in the top bedroom could do with shading. Thanks
Lovely setting. Nice property, in need of a little TLC, but it all works.Lovely kitchen and day room leading onto lovely garden and views. Parking for 2 cars. Neighbours seem a bit uptight about people accessing the site.Would recommend the let however.
Seven adults stayed for a weekend to attend a family wedding.
The wedding had been a beautiful event steeped in nature and the ambience of our cottage complemented that.
It was well equipped and each room had a beautiful view. The garden was lovely but the weather and wedding meant we couldn’t spend much time in it.
We spent our first evening in West Bay which was fun with a choice of fine eateries.
Overall, very happy. The cottage makes you feel like you are not on ceremony. Felt relaxed from the off. There are a few things that we could see some clients getting finicky about (sticking door, unpredictable oven) but honestly, there was enough character and ambience that outweighed the odd quirk.

Was good but there were problems
It’s a lovely house and location is gorgeous but the inside decor was a bit tired. The back door was hard to shut and lock, we had difficulty with the dishwasher, the dustpan and brush needed replacing and the cleanliness could have been better

Great views and comfortable
We have just returned from Xmas holiday. Lovely, warm cottage with great views of the countryside and sea. However beach is little far for kids to walk. Especially up the hill on the way back. Very hospitable owners. Little extras such as a bottle of prosecco, chocolate santas for kids and fire wood for the first evening were great touches. We would defiantly consider going back to the cottage.
