Massimo was the perfect host who greeted us upon our arrival. He explained all the intricacies of our accommodation so we felt right at home. I find the hosts in Italy to be so very professional and gracious. Our time here was wonderful as we explored Lucca daily with so much to find. Upon our departure Massimo recommended a lovey Pasticceria Pane è Marmellata just a few minutes drive away that was just what we were looking for before we travelled to our next destination. I would not hesitate to recommend this home and location. Bravo!

Perfect Rome apartment

My sister and I stayed here for a few days to attend the Rome tennis tournament and enjoy the city. The location was perfect for us as we could walk to the Foro for the tennis and also an easy walk to the Vatican for our tour there. There is also a taxi stop nearby as well as a metro stop. The apartment is spacious and spotless. Kitchen is well equipped and all working well. The terrace is lovely to sit and relax. Bonus was having the street market around the corner for fresh food and also fabulous clothes! Donata communicated promptly and gave us lots on info on the city, shops and restaurants. Don’t hesitate to book!

Comfort in Rome

Loved this place and Donata prepares you for everything you will need for your stay. Restaurant recommendations were great. Walkable to Vatican. Covered veranda was lovely.

Fabulous apartment with excellent facilities

This was a spacious apartment with excellent facilities in a beautiful building. Beds were comfortable, check in was excellent with loads of advice, balconies were great. All 4 of us who stayed here would not hesitate to recommend it for 2 couples or a family. Tbank you Donata for a wonderful stay in Rome.

Modern apartment near Lepanto metro

Looks freshly renovated with A/C in all rooms. Large kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Great private terrasse. Highly recommend!

Delightful stay in Rome

Arrived at the apartment and Donata, owner, was waiting for us. Donata spent time with us going over the highlights of Rome, including where to eat, how to get around the city whether it be via Metro, taxi or walking around the city and taking it in. The apartment is tastefully decorated and had great amenities. Great location. I highly recommend staying here. Donata was quick to respond to my texts/emails. She made arrangements for us to have a driver to pick us up and take us to the airport.

A fab stay

The apartment was amazing. Loved the little terrace. Thought it was going to be nearer to the Vatican than it was, but was in a lovely area. Would highly recommend though!! We had a fabulous holiday.

A treasure find for a stay in Rome!

We loved everything about this property. It’s beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked. The terrace is an absolute gem. The apartment was perfect for our family of four. Donata’s advice was also very helpful for us. She is very well organized and we appreciated her tips on dining (especially the local specialties) and sightseeing. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I wanted so much to love this little apartment. We were in contact with the owner throughout the day of our arrival. We gave him an approximate time that we would be there. When we arrived, there was a person there to meet. He was very kind and he showed us the property. He did not, however, put on the air conditioning before we got there, even though he lives in the same complex as the apartment. It was so hot in there that it was hard to breathe. For the life of me, I don’t understand why she didn’t have the air conditioning on hours before our arrival seeing that it was in the mid 90s that day. We stayed in the apartment one night, but the beds were so uncomfortable that we had a hard time sleeping in the apartment was so hot that it wasn’t enjoyable. The sheets had a chemical smell to them. I have never left VRBO before, but we just couldn’t stay there. We left the next day and booked a room at the Marriott. I wrote an email to the owner who said that he agreed that the air conditioning should’ve been on and he was willing to buy mattress toppers, new sheets, and new towels. He also told us that if we gave him a time of arrival, he would make sure that the air-conditioning was on and that the apartment was cool. I did appreciate that, but at that point we had paid for the hotel and could not get our money back. I did not ask for any type of refund and he did not offer a refund. I am upset, though that he didn’t pay me back the tax money for my stay!

Fabulous Apartment

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for five nights. We chose a larger apartment because we liked the idea of having two bathrooms, and we loved the terrace. The apartment could easily accommodate a small family. All rooms are large, including the kitchen and living room, and equipped with everything you need. It includes four air conditioning units that kept the apartment cool at all times. The apartment is located less than a five minute walk to the Lepanto Metro station. Donata is wonderful to work with and provided a number of suggestions to enhance our stay in Rome. She also arranged for a driver to take us to the airport. I highly recommend this apartment.

Perfectly Appointed, Peaceful Retreat in Great Location of Rome

Rome—what a revelation! And Donata’s apartment is the cherry on top, a perfectly peaceful haven from which to explore the city. Donata met us upon arrival and explained all the ins and outs of the apartment, which is sparkling clean and thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities a guest might need during their stay. She then gave us an expert overview of the city, its sights, foods and restaurants, and the best means of transportation for our explorations. She thought of everything and boosted our confidence as we stepped out into the city to explore. We walked everywhere—the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Borghese Gardens, Vatican City (the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica), the Trastevere neighborhood…all over the place! As adults, walking to such locations was thoroughly enjoyable. On our one rainy day, we hopped on a bus right near the apartment and were whisked away to the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. It was as easy as Donata assured us it would be! Her advice to stay above ground during our adventures is well worth following because we found ourselves stumbling upon one noteworthy ancient sight after another…sights we would have missed had we taken the Metro. There are two grocery stores (one large, one small) located across the street from the apartment, restaurants galore within easy walking distance, and several gelaterias right in the neighborhood. We give Donata and her apartment the highest recommendation for your stay in Rome!

Fantastic Communication

Flying to Rome from USA meant a late arrival, Donata accommodated us, with an arrival of 10PM. For first timers to Rome, well, she couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us an excellent overview, and we quickly realized we were in good hands, and our 3 day stay would have been better at 5-7 days as it was such a comfortable location, with access to all of Rome's opportunities. In addition, we had a personal issue with one of three bags being lost, and Donata was able to handle the communication with the services that should have returned the luggage rather quickly, but it turned out with the May 1st holiday, that we would have to wait until our last day in Rome. Fortunately, Donata was in contact with the delivery services and we received our last piece of luggage about an hour before we left for Sorrento. Fantastic place, and definitely recommend staying for 5 days minimum. I hear she is booked through November, so good luck finding a space on your calendar.

It was a beautiful apartment skilfully blending old and new. All facilities were excellent, including little touches such as multi-national adaptors, umbrellas, shopping bags. Everything had been meticulously thought through. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Recommendations and information from Donata were excellent. We would happily return.

Sehr gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

Mit unseren vier Kindern fehlte es uns an nichts. Zum Kochen, Waschen, Entspannen war alles da. Nach langen Stadttouren war es immer schön in die Wohnung zurückzukehren und sich dort zu erholen. Ganz tolles Flair!

Avant tout, nous devons souligner la qualité de l'accueil de Donata. Toutes les informations nécessaires sur le logement, mais aussi les commerces avoisinants, les restaurants recommandés à proximité, les spécialités culinaires et les moyens de locomotion sont communiquées avec précision et gentillesse.Le logement est parfait, très propre, super équipé, très spacieux et confortable. The place was perfect for what we wanted out of our stay. It was well located near grocery options and even a few restaurants. Short walk to a great morning breakfast cafe and also gelato spot. The place had adequate space and a cool terrace for relaxing in the evening. The host was amazing and provided a lot of great recommendations for food! Definitely would recommend staying there to anyone traveling to Rome.
