We loved our stay. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. The location is so convenient to everything around Memphis. The owner Alice, was very helpful in providing excellent information about the area and things to do. Highly recommend this property!!
House was nice. Plenty of room for my whole family. We loved having the pool at the house. It was close to everything we wanted to do. We had a great time
This house was great! Had everything you could possibly want! Great set up for our needs. Loved the pool! Alice was great to communicate with, very quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone!

Home away from home!!!
Alice is a fantastic hostess - her home is lovely and it was perfect for our gals weekend in Memphis. Our group of 7 felt right at home - there was plenty of space for cooking, gaming and just enjoying the weekend. Alice provided us with good ideas for local restaurants and activities. Don’t miss this gem!!!

Terrible owner and location
You are better going to a hotel with a pool. The owner is terrible. The owner likes to ask alot of questions after you book. The owner have alot of exclusions when it comes to the pool which are not on the rental page. She want to know names of everyone who are guests and who going to be in the pool. If you have a problem with insurance due to the pool why have it displayed. I was going to have family meet me there at the location so we can leave and go to our event, but its a problem because they are not guests. THIS IS MEMPHIS! save your money and go to a hotel with more freedom, less money, more comfortable.
This was a return trip for we 5 girlfriends and again, this vrbo suited us well. The location and neighborhood is great. Plenty of room for us to visit and play a game or two.
House selected for number of bedrooms and convenience for our family reunion.
We stayed at this house several years ago and submitted a similar review. We note several things we pointed out after that stay have not been addressed.
See attached photos sent via text message to owner since I saw no way to attach them to this message. Broken missing towel bars, leaving no place to put towels. Toilet paper holders broken and toilet paper sitting on floor, and holes in the wall where these items had been. Major issue this visit, air conditioning in master totally in efficient.
Owner personal items scattered in most closets and pool area, including a door lying inside master closet. Pool was not clean and pool items scattered around on ground and on table. Not enough chairs around pool. Pool toilet room dingy. Kitchen silverware drawer littered with crumbs. Light bulbs out and no replacement bulbs available. Broken lamp in master slumped over couch, still plugged in. No pillow covers, simply single pillow cases. After COVID this could be a health issue. Refrigerator had opened food items inside.
Positives are nice towels, clean comfortable beds, dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, and coffee pot work well. Merrill and Bill Liggett, Ellen and Larry Martin, Emily Harrison, Bob McLean and Paul Sayegh
The house was great and the pool was amazing. Having the outdoor bathroom was a game changer!!! Only negative was that all the pool lounge chairs were broken. Overall we had a great trip!
This house was perfect for our group of 9. We all slept very comfortably and the pool was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals. Thank you for making our stay in Memphis so wonderful!
We picked the perfect place for our family & our purpose in Memphis: attending / participating in St Jude Ironman 70.3 Triathalon! The house is in a residential neighborhood, just minutes from the event venue, Shelby Farm Park, and had plenty of space, bedrooms, & bathrooms for our multi-generational group, & a pool for us all! It was also close to shopping centers so we had access to groceries or fast food, as need arose. Will definitely book again for future needs.
Located close to family we were visiting and essential shopping. Plenty of room for our 8 person family. The pool was great. The yard needed attention but this didn’t impact our stay.
This was a great place for a family to stay. They really enjoyed the pool!

Shame, property could have more potential if cleaned!!
I paid over $1500+ to rent this property in Memphis Tenn. I rented a van, drove my family of seven 12 hrs from MI. I arrived @ property early as discussed with renter only to find her there trying to clean the home. She never texted me access code as she was shocked that I arrived early. She explained a few rules and left as did I to shop @ Walmart. My phones me to tell me this house was disgusting, dirty & filthy. My wife called renter,, told her our displeasure, and she tried to do some more cleaning & offered to come 1qback next day while we were there to clean. (Who wants that? I'm on vacation) I tried to find other places to stay, but it was not affordable as all our money was tied up in this rental. This was unacceptable!! My wife, sister, two neices tried to clean up this house only to find it worst than we thought. She did give me $300 of my money back, and felt there was only some dirty walls, but it wasn't enough for me, since now we are handling the cleaning. This property should be discounted as a rental. She made every excuse and down played what should have been a very relaxing vacation surprising my Father n law for his 75th birthday. Instead we were sitting there pissed, as my wife & family was still in this house cleaning @ 6:50pm after arriving @ 2:15 because we couldnt afford for all of us to stay somewhere else. In addition, this was not Covid safe. There was opened food in that nasty refrigerator that was there when we arrived. I have a stage 4 lung disease and catching Covid will definitely be a disaster for myself..This was ridiculous. Fire alarms were not on the walls or ceilings, they are laying on a dresser and a broken pull out sofa. So the home doesn't sleep 10 as advertised. Please due diligence on this property before renting.
Alice was great and the home was lovely and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Covid kept us enjoying the pool for the most part but there are lots of shopping and nice restaurants close by if you want to venture out.
The home was perfect for our large extended family. We laid by the pool and swam and enjoyed each other's company all week which is exactly the way we wanted it. The backyard and pool area is even prettier than the photos show and it is very private and quiet. Alice was a perfect host and communication was quick and easy.
We really enjoyed the pool as the weather was very warm, large family room with sectional for lots seating, well equipped kitchen, nice table for outside dining. One suggestion, the smaller bedroom with shower and toilet could use some kind of a privacy door or even a drapery panel on a tension rod. With both of us using that room we needed some privacy at times. Overall this property met all our needs and more.
This home was a good solution for 6 of us attending a conference. Quiet pretty neighborhood with easy and fast on/off to interstate. Kitchen very well equipped. Hostess very responsive before check-in and when the water heater didn’t work on night #1. She had it already working when we returned home after the conference the very next day. Master bath has its own water heater, so we were never without hot water. Home is comfortable and pretty. Seems to be in the process of being updated, and that could explain the missing bathroom door in the queen ensuite bathroom. Half bath might alleviate this problem, just know it is a pool bath accessed by going outdoors and across the patio. We appreciated how attentive and friendly the nice hostess was.
Booking was easy - very spacious -place could have been more tidier - clothing and personal items could have been removed . Patio furniture should be replaced - it was torned. It was easy to get to the places we needed and very centrally located .
My husband & I, my parents and kids ages 21, 17, 15 & 12 stayed here. It was a perfect location for everything we did. We zip-lined with Go Ape in Shelby Farms Park, saw a Memphis Redbirds game, went to the Bass Pro Shop, saw the ducks at the Peabody and hung out on Beale Street. Also did an Escape Room. Graceland was amazing and also the Civil Rights Museum. My kids loved the pool and were in it almost every day. As far as the home, it was very large and had a ton of furniture. All of the doors and door handles in this house could all use a good wipe down. They were sticky and black where hands open and close the doors. Also the fridge could use a good cleaning. The inside of the fridge door was loaded with jars and bottles of anything you needed. I assume these items were from other renters who bought, used and left them. I personally don’t like to dip into jars opened and used by the unknown. The master bathroom has no doors so make sure the door to the bedroom is closed when showering. Also, I couldn’t unpack any of my toiletries to put under the sink because it was all full of stuff either left by others or it was the owners.
We enjoyed everything about our trip. The homeowner was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know. The home was very clean. The pool was clear and cool. Everything worked, especially the A/C. Hot outside. Cool inside. This was a good value for the 6 of us. Much cheaper that 3 hotel rooms.
