Great stay for the whole family!
Our family recently stayed 5 nights in the unit. It was myself, my husband, our 10 month old son, and three grandparents. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious and comfortable even for 6 of us with huge closets. The view was absolutely amazing. Breathtaking, really. While it wasn't necessarily my taste, the decor was nicer than I expected. I don't think the photos do it justice.
My only real complaint is that the furniture in the living area was sort of big - cutting the room in half a bit and not allowing for much open space for infant play. I would have also loved some more lounge-y chairs on the balcony.
As far as the property goes, it was great. The layout allows for super close access to the elevators from both the units and parking. It also didn't seem like the elevators were ever too terribly busy. The pool was gorgeous, and the included beach set up was great. Although all the buildings in Destin seem to have this problem, the chairs are set up super close to one another, and when busy, there are multiple rows, so if you end up in the back row, your access to the ocean is sort of compromised, which is definitely less than ideal. I don't know what a solution to this would be other than spacing out the first row and setting it back a little further from the ocean.
All in all, though, it was absolutely wonderful, and I would highly recommend the unit and the property! Thank you so much for making our first family vacation great!
