Fabulous rental house just outside of Killarney

Thank you for hosting us! The house is really modern with country views outside. The house was really clean and comfortable. Its about 5 to 10mins to town but far away its really quiet. You will be extremely close to all major tourist places but the gap of dunloe is alil further. I highly recommend these accommodations you wont be disappointed. The purple mountains in the backyard was my favorite thing.

Great hub for day trips

We were here for three nights. We took day trips to Cork, Kinsale, the Ring of Kerry and Valentia. island. We also spent time in Killarney. This was a great central location for all of Southwest Ireland and an easy day trip to The Cliffs of Moher and Galway

Family break in Killarney

This is a fantastic location and the property is equally fabulous. We travelled with our almost two year old daughter, the owners have thought of everything you need, even a cupboard for toys which she loved. The location can't be beaten, peaceful in the countryside with views of the mountains, as well as close enough to town if you wanted a 20 minute walk. What a lovely little bungalow with beautiful views, modern accommodations, and the perfect distance to town. When we didn't want to walk, we found calling for a taxi easy. Flemings Taxi was great. The Spar store at the end of the road was perfect for sandwiches when we didn't want to eat out. The space was just enough room for our family of four.

Great ambiance, great location

We loved our stay at this peaceful property on the edge of Killarney. The decor and furnishings and the large and modern kitchen were great, the house was bright and spacious and we felt very much at home. We first had considered staying right in the town, for convenience, but glad we didn't. We loved to leave the bustle of the crowds at the end of the day and return to our retreat with the big windows providing views of the grassy fields surrounding us. Not isolated, but quiet and peaceful. No sheep, but we spotted a fox! We had a rental car so getting into the town took only minutes and we had all-day parking at the Outlet Centre for 5 euros. No hassle! Definitely a great option to consider!

Beautiful

This house was perfect for our family of three. The photos are exactly like the house. We were in Ireland for my son's World Karate Championships and the proximity to where we needed to go was perfect. Close to National Park and Killarney town centre. View of the mountain and horses almost in the courtyard was magical. In addition the owner answered our questions without delay. As a bonus, the kindness of the Irish. Everything went perfectly and we brought back to Canada 2 gold and 5 silver medals. We recommend this place without hesitation.

Loved Killarney

We truly loved our 4 night stay in Killarney. The town center is just a 5 minute drive. It is super cute with shopping and great food. We spent a day exploring Kinsale, just 1.5 hours away. It was a lovely day trip to the coastal town. Muckross house and gardens is a short drive (maybe 3 minutes). The grounds are amazing. There are many hikes from Muckross into Killarney national park. We hiked to Torc Falls. The property suited us well. It was close to everything and also out of the middle of everything. It felt very private and we enjoyed the pasture view. Clean, very good explanations of everything, there was nothing we needed and most importantly the beds were very comfortable. We are sure to return. There is so much more to see.

Insgesamt ein schönes Objekt mit einigen kleinen Details, die verbesserungswürdig wären: Es gibt wenig Besteck, das teilweise kaputt war, keine Müslischalen o.ä., und dies ist vermutlich das einzige Haus in Irland ohne Teekanne :-) Leider gab es auch keinerlei Möglichkeit, die Handtücher aufzuhängen (Haken, Stange), was sich als lästig erwies. Der Zustand des Hauses war in Teilen auch etwas schlechter als zu erwarten, bis hin zu Feuchtigkeitsflecken an der Decke...Die Lage ist recht schön und ruhig, auch hier wären ordentliche Gartenmöbel schön gewesen, um das mehr genießen zu können. Alles in allem vielleicht ein wenig zu teuer für den ordentlichen, aber nicht überragenden Zustand.
