Charming Decatur Bungalow

Here you will enjoy the privacy of your own premium 2 bedrooms home with 2 baths, kitchen and dining room. This craftsman bungalow has been recently updated and painted - hardwood floors throughout. Large private property has two tranquil water fountains, each can be heard throughout the home as well as from the front porch or rear screen porch. A classic boxwood garden and expansive lawn are also perfect for hosting small gatherings or cocktail parties.
Home is only a few short blocks to Oakhurst Village, Decatur. It is also within a mile of the train system, Marta.

Centrally located with everything you need

A friend and I made a long weekend out of a visit in Atlanta, and this rental was the perfect place for us to stay. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms allowed us both our own privacy, but the common areas were comfortable enough for long talks. (The bed was also super comfortable and I slept better than I have in a long time!) Thank you for a great stay.

Absolutely Charming !

Such a sweet house. It was perfect for us. We sat on the screened porch and listened to the rain. The beds were so comfortable. Would definitely stay again.We loved the neighborhood too.

Comfortable and Quiet Cottage

This is our third time at this cottage and it is a great little place. It is close to our daughter, some restaurants, good location for getting to town or Marta and some little shops and friendly community. The home is as shown in pictures, has comfortable beds, nice linens, clean and comfortable and very helpful and thoughtful great hosts. Thanks again, retired Seattle couple

Getaway weekend

Great place for us. We stayed here for Sweetwater Music festival. Nice private backyard. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Close to festival grounds.

Conference/vacation

Had a lovely stay. Super easy location to get to the conference center (15 min drive) and a delightful refuge in the evening. We would stay again! The house is a little more overgrown in the winter than the summer picture suggests, but that was minor.

Charming cottage and gardens

Our friends stayed here while in town for a visit. They loved this little cottage and the gardens surrounding it giving it high marks in all areas. Before leaving they mentioned that the next time they come to town they want to stay there again.

Cute Bungalow for a Week

For my first Vrbo experience, this was a great one! This place was perfect for our needs. It was in a great area and quiet, as I had to work offsite for most of the week while my son attended camp. The house was charming and well equipped for our needs. Love the gardens! Host was very responsive to any of our needs. Will definitely stay there again.

A very nice, well stocked Bungalow. Very comfortable with nice landscaping. It was a good location for getting downtown and to the other locations we wanted to visit. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at this delightful and cozy home in a beautiful neighborhood in Decatur near Atlanta. The sights in Atlanta. were easy to get to from this location and we had no problem driving to the zoo, downtown and aquarium from the house. The screened-in porch off the kitchen was a favorite spot and we spent most of our time there while at the house.

The location and house were perfect and exactly as described. The garden area was a blessing for early morning relax time. The owner was extremely supportive and helpful. We bought this property as the next step in building our dream home. The huge side lot is promising us the ability to have a nice custom home while keeping the existing home to have a small little compound for family and friends.

What makes this property unique

The house is the only one that is positioned on the one block of Gordon Street, keeping the privacy around the home pristine. The current side yard is great for outside relaxing with the two fountains and gardens.
