Villa Mérida is a place of mixed heritage, combining Ramona's Guatemalan and Californian origins with Marc's Breton roots.

After 11 years of seasonal rental, the Villa has become our home. It remains available for rental during our summer holidays (please contact us before booking).

An upper floor was added in 2021, offering a wide view of the sea and the Ile de Batz from the small living room, study and master bedroom. With a surface area of 190m2, and featuring :
- 3 bedrooms
- 3 bathrooms
- 3 wc
- a large living/dining room
- an open-plan kitchen
- a games/TV room,

The sunny, sheltered patio creates a relaxing area between the house and the heated indoor swimming pool (7x3m). The large enclosed garden of 1800 m2 provides a great play area for the children. Between the lawn, vegetable garden and flower beds, you're sure to find the perfect quiet spot for a siesta or a spot of reading, lulled by the sound of the waves.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious gite.

The gite exceeded our expectations, it was delightful, very well equipped and in a wonderful location. The garden added another dimension to the property, it was exceptional and a lovely place in which to relax. The pool was brilliant for the youngsters in our group bigger than we had expected. Our charming hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

Très belle maison lumineuse et confortable, idéale pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille.

Une vraie parenthèse

La Merida permet de se déconnecter du quotidien dans un cocon agréable et douillet. La piscine est un vrai plus, encore plus agréable lorsque la tempête souffle à l'extérieur ! :-) La maison est très bien agencée et équipée, une belle réalisation architecturale. A 2 pas des plages pour de longues ballades vivifiantes. Et la région propose beaucoup de jolis coins à découvrir. Pour terminer, Marc est un propriétaire très agréable. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Another wonderful stay

This was our second visit to Villa Merida. Earlier this year we took grandchildren and had a fabulous time in the pool and garden, and of course on the beautiful beaches. This time we took our parents, who all have limited mobility. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay, with extra thoughtful touches like a lego table and deck of cards. The owners are very welcoming and, friendly. We would certainly stay again at Villa Merida. It has a great calmness about it, and is located in such a great area. Marc and Ramona couldn't have been more accommodating in making both our visits memorable and wonderful. Thank you!

Perfect place for a relaxing holiday

Thank you for a wonderful stay: the villa was perfect. Modern, well designed with a good outdoor space for BBQs and relaxing: a great place for a family holiday. The kids spent most of the week in the pool, they enjoyed the kayaks and made good use of the WiFi...The local beaches are excellent as is the local Boulangerie / Patisserie; Brest is a nice day trip and Roscoff is just 15mins away. Ramona and Marc were good hosts, settling us in and very responsive to questions during our stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Havre de paix à 2 pas de la plage

Nous avons passé une belle semaine de vacances reposantes à 150m de la plage - que du bonheur. La maison est spacieuse, lumineuse, fonctionnelle et décorée avec goût. La piscine intérieur est un grand plus - même par beau temps on évite de se faire piquer par toutes sortes d'insectes. Quartier calme. Cuisine très bien équipée. Juste dommage qu'il n'y a que 2 transats, mais je crois que si on l'avait signalé les gentils propriétaires nous l'auraient apporté - il faut savoir qu'il a fait beau 1 jour sur les 7 - même pas grave, car grace à la maison et l'infrastructure nous nous sommes ressourcés. Surtout n'hésitez pas à louer cette maison.

Home from home with blissful extras.

Vile Merida is a true delight! The house itself is immaculate with ample space and facilities to allow you to relax and enjoy your time within the house. A pool, two kayaks and play area in the garden were an additional plus and absolutely loved by our children. Only a short walk away is the local beach and there is a patisserie and shop within the village which we found extremely useful. For those with a car the nearby towns of Morlaix, Roscoff and Brest add a bit of culture and variety. One of the memorable highlights of our time at the Villa however was the helpfulness and friendliness of our hosts Ramona and Marc. They couldn’t been welcoming so a big thank you to them. Our family would definitely recommend a trip here. Our stay was loved by all. A massive thumbs up!

We spent a fantastic week in this beautiful modern villa in April 2018. Marc and Ramona are great hosts. The whole booking process was easy and professional and their friendly emails were very helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting both Ramona and Marc during our stay and they were very welcoming and helpful. The villa's location is superb being just a couple of minutes walk to a lovely beach with just the right balance of soft sand and rocks to explore, but also not far from the village with a boulangerie and a small supermarket. It is also just a short drive from Roscoff and St Pol de Leon where there are many more shops, restaurants, markets, tourist attractions, etc. Other places a little further away but well worth the trip are Morlaix, Carantec, Brest and the many beautiful beaches. The villa is very modern, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. It is very light and airy in the main living/kitchen/dining area and all mod cons are supplied including washing machine, tumble drier, full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, TV, DVD, wifi, etc. There is a good selection of pots and pans, crockery, cutlery and every other kitchen essentials. The beds are very comfortable and it was great to have the beds already made up when we arrived. The pool was great to have and we used it every day of our stay. There was plenty of outdoor space including a decked area between the villa and the pool room with table, chairs and parasol, another decked area the other side of the main living room with two sun loungers and two grassed areas: one neatly mowed and the other a little wilder with mowed paths and a swing set for children. And the house even has kayaks for guest use! We would thoroughly recommend Marc and Ramona's beautiful Santec villa to anyone looking for a modern, well-situated, well-equipped seaside house for a perfect holiday whatever the weather. Thank you Marc and Ramona and we hope to see you again!

Nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour. Il faisait très froid dehors. Nous nous sommes tout de même risqués à une ballade sur l'île de Batz. Nous avons même eu de la neige ! rare en Bretagne. Nous avons d'autant aimé nous baigner à l'abri dans la piscine bien chauffée. Malgré le froid, il y avait du soleil et la maison est bien ensoleillée : un plus. Bref une location idéale pour se détendre une semaine.

Parfait

Tres grande maison lumineuse agencé avec goût. La piscine chauffé est très appréciable quand le temps ne permet pas de sortir, un vrai paradis pour les enfants et même pour les adultes. Grande plage a seulement 2 minutes et pleins de chose a faire aux alentours. Port de Roscoff et son marché, jardin exotique a roscoff, superbe plage a Carantec, oceanopolis a 50 min et sans oublier l île de batz. C'est sans aucun doute que nous reviendrons l année prochaine pour continuer a découvrir le Finistère et bien sûr profitez a nouveau de la piscine avec les enfants.

Un séjour parfait

Villa Merida est une maison très confortable, spacieuse, jolie et pleine de lumière. Nos deux enfants (4 et 7 ans) ont partagé leur temps entre la piscine intérieure (parfaite!) et des balades sur la plage située à 2 minutes à pied de la maison. Sable fin, quelques rochers à escalader, eau tellement claire que notre fille se serait bien baignée (fin décembre, la température était un peu juste..!).Une visite à l'aquarium de Brest a aussi ponctué notre parfait séjour. A faire, il est super! Un grand merci à Ramona et à Marc, les hôtes, qui nous sont accueilli avec chaleur. Ils connaissent bien la région est sont d'excellent conseil. Merci à eux pour la disponibilité, l'accueil, et surtout pour cette maison charmant dans laquelle nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour profiter du cadre, en été cette fois! Mélanie

Moderne et agréable à vivre.

La maison très au calme avec un grand jardin bien exposé était impeccable au niveau de la propreté. Les lits etaient fait et dans chaque salle de bain les serviettes etaient présentes. L'accueille des propriétaires très agréables. Très bon séjour dans cette maison où nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et de la plage si proche.

Appréciation de notre séjour à Santec à la Villa Merida

Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. La villa est spacieuse et très agréable située dans un quartier très calme au bord de l'océan. La propreté est irréprochable. Seul bémol un essuie par personne (un peu juste même si il y a une machine à laver et un sèche linge) Nous avons séjourné une semaine fin juin 2016 et nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine couverte car le temps était mitigé. Super maison très bien située

Séjour très agréable , la piscine était très bien, et idéale pour les enfants en cas de pluie. L'équipement était complet et la maison était impeccable et bien agencée. La plage à 2 min à pied.une boulangerie au pain terriblement bon. Bref une location hautement recommandable .
