Everything we expected and more

We had an amazing stay everything about it was perfect—from the stunning mountain views to the spacious and comfortable layout. The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was spotting a few bears right from the deck—such a memorable experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the Smokies

all good except for foosball table

Everything was good except the foosball table was broken and could not be fixed by the service rep. That was a disappointment, because that was one of the reasons we chose this cabin.

Beautiful Home

The house was located in a very beautiful area surrounded by nature. We were lucky to see a mama bear and her five cubs several mornings (once right outside the kitchen window). It is a quiet area, and the driving directions they sent were helpful. There were lots of spiders on the porch (again, out in nature), and even a few in the house. The hot tub we great. There were lots of fun things for kids to do at the house. My only negatives were very minor. There was only enough dishwasher soap for one load and there were no extra garbage bags in the kitchen. One of the other adults in my group commented that is was surprising things that help us keep their home clean weren’t provided. I’d rather they provide that than toiletries like shampoo. The information leading up to our stay was sent in multiple little emails. One big one would be have been better and easier to find info when we needed it. We went to the pool on the weekend (it is a community pool about 10 minutes from the house) and we’re told the homeowners hadn’t renewed their membership for the year. When we called to ask about it, we were told we could pay to get in and would get reimbursed since it was the weekend. We decided it wasn’t worth it with our party size. It was disappointing though. Other than that, we liked the location and space. It was clean and had dishes for a large group. The beds were comfortable. Great place to stay with kids!

The cabin was very nice! But with 10 people staying there they need to empty the garbage at least half way through the week. And the air conditioner kept leaking I had to call them three times but they were quick about sending someone out to look at it. Plus we saw a ton of bears!!!!

Amazing Home

I almost don’t know where to begin. The home is everything that is advertised. The home was actually pleasantly larger than I was expecting. It was beautiful and very clean. We had a couple black bear visits throughout our stay which we found exciting. We would wake up and look for the bears and their cubs. The location was perfect and close to everything we wanted to do. We visit Tennessee as often as we can but this is the first time we stayed with this management company. They were very responsive and wonderful communication all the way leading up to our trip. I will definitely stay with them again. Highly recommend the food truck park nearby but make sure you check their schedule for what trucks are open each day. Different trucks every day. The Goat Mountain Coaster was fun. The kids had a blast.

Amazing - best adventure

The drive up to the cabin was an adventure. The cabin was beautiful, plenty of space, our grandchildren loved their beds with the curtains. The open kitchen and supplies made meals easy. We enjoyed our coffee out on the deck and took in the morning view of the mountains. Meet the neighbors. They were kind and provided some tips on catching some breath taking views. We hiked, went to the sky park park, caught a show at Dollywood. This cabin was clean, had plenty of room, and it was cozy. Very peaceful. There was only one thing missing - we needed more spoons. Plenty of dishes, cooking pans, and we even baked a cake. I would recommend this cabin. We hope to return. All the beds were comfortable

Beautiful view and delightful stay

We had a delightful stay, loved the view and the amount of space. Just a couple of notes: there were no balls for the foosball table. A couple of the chess pieces were missing. Pool information sent to before leaving home said they were open till 9 but when we arrived the sign said open till 6 daily. Tried to call but office was closed. Too busy the following days to make the call. Theses were minor problems. Early pool closure was more of a disappointment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay otherwise. You might want to send really good instructions on getting there though. If my son hadn't found it first, we'd probably still be wandering dangerous roads.

Best Vacation Ever!!

We loved our stay at the Bearmont Lodge. We normally go to the beach in the summer. But we decided to switch it up and stay in Tennessee. We are so glad we did. The cabin was perfect. We had plenty of room for everyone. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect loaction to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Also right around the corner from the National Park. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will be renting this cabin again for sure. We were very sad to leave. I highly recommend the Bearmont Lodge Cabin.

Beautiful cabin

We rented this cabin for 7 days. It was my fiancé, myself and our kids. We loved the cabin it was large enough for all of us and was very well maintained. We loved that it was 45 minutes from either pigeon forge or gatlinburg and right next to the entrance to the park. We went down so we could get married on the mountain and it was fantastic it was just 20 minutes away from where we got married. We will get this cabin again.

Gorgeous view

Positives: The cabin is beautiful and as advertised. Large decks surround the front of the cabin and face the mountains for beautiful morning sunrises. The rooms are all aptly furnished and no complaints about beds from anyone. Adequate kitchen utensils in both kitchens. Close enough to pigeon forge to run in daily as needed but far enough away that your not swallowed by parkway busyness. Plenty of parking for four vehicles if needed. Directions to arrive at the cabin from management company were spot on. Negatives: When we arrived an hour past our check in time there were two vehicles parked in the driveway. It turned out to be the cleaning crew who was not finished with their cleaning. We had to fabricate places to park and wait on the crew to finish. None spoke English so it was difficult to determine how long they would be. Calls to the management company went unanswered since it was a Sunday and I wasn’t sure what to do at that point so I chose the maintenance housekeeping option on the voicemail. Talked to a nice Maint man who said he would have the manager call me. I never received a call from any of them but the cleaning crew left so we used the code to enter. This was not a good first impression. The decks are beautiful but we’re very dusty and dirty with numerous cobwebs that had obviously not been cleaned in a long while. Neighbors who live below cabin were working on deck drills hammers etc off and like shooting guns. Overall very nice cabin.

One of the bedroom has utility close to the room and the sound coming from it was loud enough so couldn’t sleep and had to leave the bedroom and slept on sofa instead. Online listing ad should have mentioned one less bedroom because it was not practically usable bedroom.

I did not realize how far up in the mountain this property was the location was as not as desirable as I wanted to be, the cabin was beautiful loved the kitchens kids loved it, lots of open spaces. Some of the TVs weren’t working on the properly which sucked but other wise we had a great time, I would recommend to change the shower towels they were very old, other wise it was wonderful.

Do not book this place if you are looking to use the hot tube and want clean/usable water

Pros: House is big, plenty of space, beautiful view, great location. However google maps/wazes gave inaccurate directions to the house and took us to a gated/closed road (so be careful if you arrive at night). Cons: # We didn't use the hot tub much initially during our 5-night stay until night number 4 when the temperatures started to drop. We noticed that night that the hot tub was very sudsy and cloudy (was not like that the days prior). We didn't think much about it as we thought this was due to the chemicals and decided to use it. The following day (in the sunlight) we noted this disgusting brown rustic film EVERYWHERE and a very dirty filter making the hot tub unsafe to use. One guest who used it the night before woke up with a rash on his body. Customer service became argumentative/not empathetic and said they normally do not clean it while guests are in the cabin, but she would "see what she can do" with no further follow-up calls. Needless to say, no one came out there to rectify the issue. # The twin bed in the loft: When we removed the sheets the mattress protecter and pillow was covered in urine stains. One of the queen beds sheets were not washed and had white crusted material stuck to the fitted sheet. #Brown water and poor water pressures was another major issue. The first day the water was coming out muddy color with very little to no water pressure. The company came out within the hour and changed the filter which was extremely dirty. This did help slightly with the water pressure as long as no one was taking a shower....if someone was taking a shower, or using the washing machine, then there was no water to the rest of the house (to the point that we were not even able to even flush the toilets). The water would be intermittently brown/tan color the rest of the stay after the filter was changed. #No AC or windows that can open in the loft area. If you are using the fireplace, it becomes a furnace in the loft. # No board games supplied #Bathtub was not clean on arrival to property #Second kitchen was not stocked #No beach towels for hot tube #No hair dryer for 3 bathrooms #Fans were not working and covered in dust #Only had steak knives- noting to chop or peel with These cons are very similar to the complaint listed on the VRBO reviews page on Aug 6, 2021. Which to me states they did nothing to rectify the past issues. I hope this review helps.
