Wonderful apartment a few meters from the Ondarreta Beach from which it receives its name and close to the incredible La Concha bay of San Sebastián. It is located in Matia Street, the main enclave of the Antiguo neighborhood where you can find all kinds of shops and services around, such as: bakeries, butchers, supermarkets, hairdressers, clothing stores, etc.



This apartment is decorated on a whim, mixing a modern style with that rustic one that we like so much. The stone walls and beams make this space a cozy place where you can relax after an exhausted day of sightseeing in San Sebastián. Is formed with a bright main room with a large sofa and dining area, a spacious bedroom with double bed, another bedroom with two single beds, a renewed bathroom with a big shower, fully equipped kitchen.

Great Overall

Overall this apartment was in a great location and was very clean and spacious. It was a quick walk to the beaches (we preferred La Concha but Onderetta was lovely as well). We chose to walk to dinner each night which was about 30min each way to and from Old City but we loved the daily walks - a great way to see and explore the city. The only downside was the apartment was lacking a few amenities (hand soap, bathroom trash can, only 1.5 small rolls of toilet paper) and the door was tricky to get into. Overall was a lovely stay and would stay there again! Check in is at an office a cab ride away from the apartment as well.

As you say the walk from the apartment to the Old Town gives you the opportunity to see the Ondarreta and La Concha beaches as well as many other interesting locations. Appartement avec ascenseur et parking à moins de 500 m, propre et idéalement situé pour visiter San Sebastian. Malgré quelques bruits de rue car c’était le carnaval nous avons bien dormi. Il suffit de descendre pour trouver tout ce dont on a besoin. Je recommande la boulangerie d’en dessous. La salle de bain est très moderne et propre et le canapé du salon très confortable . Les équipements pour cuisiner mériteraient d’être changer. Nous avons pu passer un agréable séjour . Muchas gracias !

A week to remember!

Property was very nice and the online description was very accurate. Great location. Many restaurants. Grocery nearby. Close to beach. Nice walk to all points of city if you enjoy exploring. Lack of A/C in summer would be a concern. We were fine in mid- September.

San Sebastián rental experience

We recently stayed in the Ondaretta apartment from Always Easy. The apartment was older but very well kept with some interesting features including a window opening into a courtyard to access the clothes line. The place does not have air conditioning and we fortunately missed the current heat wave. There are plenty of windows but a bar on the main level below and one across the street so not all that quiet. Having said that, the neighbourhood is very nice and very close to the beach. It’s about a ten minute cab ride to the old centre of San Sebastián or half hour walk but we found a couple of very good restaurants and pint o bars in the near vicinity. The rental company was responsive and the overall experience was very good.
