The three-room apartment ‘Castello’ is located in an ancient private court, equipped and available for our guests, in the historical centre of Cernobbio, near Villa Erba and Villa d’Este, close to Como and Switzerland.
Together with the other four apartments of the holiday home \'La Corte di Zizi\', it overlooks the private courtyard, ideal for indulging in a moment of relaxation, having breakfast or dining al fresco.
The different types of apartments and their location within a single complex make \'La Corte di Zizi\' an holiday home suitable for the short stay of a couple, the extended stay of a large family, or a group of friends who wish to share common spaces without sacrificing privacy.
The location is also ideal for those traveling for work reasons, to Cernobbio, Como or Switzerland: a peaceful and quiet place, where you can return after a busy day, perhaps after a dinner in one of the surrounding restaurants.

We loved the apartment. It was very clean and our host was very helpful with showing us around the apartment. It's very close to the ferry station and several restaurants near by. The host was very thoughtful to provide recommendations and checked in daily to see if we needed anything. There's a park by the ferry station for the kids as well as weekly Wednesday market day. We would definitely rent there again! Thank you for the hospitality.

Nicht ganz günstig, aber empfehlenswert
Wir waren als junge Familie mit Oma und Opa in der modernen, sauberen Ferienwohnung. Die Zimmeraufteilung war passend. Der Innenhof ist super, v.a. für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Alessandra war immer zuverlässig. Lage top, allerdings nicht billig.

My name it’s Alessandra and ‘Zizi’ is the nickname I used to call my grandmother, who left me this house.
‘La Corte di Zizi’ actually was born from the desire to revive this ancient house that has been in my family for generations.
Together with my husband Davide and our sons Luca and Andrea we had fun renovating it, discovering and enhancing the original architectural elements and combining them with functional and modern furnishings.
Davide has taken charge of making the courtyard, onto which all five apartments overlook, a pleasant corner, green and flowery, where our guests can enjoy a moment of relaxation, or have breakfast or dinner outdoors.
Together we have discovered the pleasure of ‘hosting’ and interacting with people from all over the world, trying to make them feel at home and helping them to enjoy their stay and our beautiful lake to the fullest.
Indeed, this was often an opportunity to rediscover our territory, initiatives and itineraries in turn.

Within walking distance you can find some of the main attractions of Cernobbio (such as the splendid Villa Erba and Villa Bernasconi) and the city of Como, just 10 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot. Cernobbio is also an excellent starting point for exploring Lake Como.
