We enjoyed our stay! The chalet was clean, comfortable, and spacious, yet cozy. It was nice to come back to after a day of winter adventures. Ample linens were provided. It was truly a home away from home. I felt comfortable right away. We had other family staying around us so that was really fun. The location was superb for skiing at Hidden Valley and we enjoyed an evening skate at Arrowhead Provincial Park as well.

Winter stay at Hidden Valley

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway to winter wonderland! Very clean, spacious, and exactly as advertised. We loved having access to a wood burning fireplace with a beautiful view as well as the proximity to the ski hill and spa! James and Susanne were incredibly responsive and shared a ton of recommendations for things to do and see in Huntsville. We would love to return in the future!

Comfy place near wildness

Property has everything for nice stay close to nature. Great hiking trails are just 15 - 35 min away. Fine dining is in near by resorts and city. Owners were easy accessible over text and emails. Natural wood fire place made our stay warm and cosy.

Great space for us to have a small family getaway with our 2 & 4 yr old and their grandma. Loved being surrounded by the awesome fall colours and took full advantage of access to Hidden Valley resorts indoor pool. The multi level layout has plenty of stairs that make it less accessible for some, but worked for us.

Beautiful Property!

All of the amenities that were listed were available. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The only downfall was all of the hills…but that is probably because our family lives in the flattest part of Ontario. The beach was close by. Only a 2 min drive to Deerhurst (which we did several times a day for a dance competition). Highly recommend!!

Awesome chalet

We had a great time at Susanne and James chalet, all the comfort a big family needs. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and fit pefectly in the 3 bedrooms, the renovations they just did are awesome, the kitchen has everything one needs. Communication very good, Susanne answers very fast to all our messages. Overall a very relaxing week for us. Would be back if we can afford it, a bit pricey if you don't split the cost between families.
